制造装置(1)从一端侧起依次排列设置有:型坯形成工位(S1),在该型坯形成工位(S1)形成型坯(P);内置部件安装工位(S2),在该内置部件安装工位(S2),将具备内置部件(2)的中央模具(3)的两侧夹着型坯(P)利用一对成型模具(4)封闭起来,并将内置部件(2)安装在转印于成型模具(4)的型坯(P);成型工位(S3),在该成型工位(S3),闭合成型模具(4),使中空成型件成型;以及搬送工位(S4),在该搬送工位(S4)将中空成型件从成型模具(4)取出并进行搬送,中央模具(3)固定设置在内置部件安装工位(S2),成型模具(4)设置为能够在内置部件安装工位(S2)和成型工位(S3)之间往复运动。

Description

中空成型件的制造装置
技术领域
本发明涉及用于制造搭载于汽车的燃料罐等中空成型件的装置及方法。
背景技术
在汽车的燃料罐内置有关于阀或泵的部件、用于确保燃料罐的强度的部件、用于抑制燃料的波动的部件等附随于罐的各种部件。在将这些内置部件安装于燃料罐的内壁时,在考虑到组装作业的时间和劳力等的情况下,相比在完成后的燃料罐对这些内置部件进行后安装的方法,优选采用利用燃料罐的制造工序来在该工序内进行安装的方法。
列举出专利文献1记载的方法,来作为利用燃料罐的制造工序安装内置部件的技术的现有例子。在相同文献中,记载有以下的燃料罐的制造方法,该制造方法具有:在模芯装填内置部件的工序;将模芯导入到预先按压有型坯的钢模之间的工序;利用模芯将内置部件固定于型坯的工序;将模芯取出,然后再次闭合钢模来对燃料罐进行成型的工序;以及将燃料罐从钢模取出的工序。此外,还记载有以下技术:将模芯设置为能够在第1模芯停止位置、第2模芯停止位置和第3模芯停止位置的范围内移动,在第1模芯停止位置,对模芯装填内置部件,第2模芯停止位置位于第1模芯停止位置和钢模之间,在第2模芯停止位置,对装填于模芯的内置部件进行预备过热和检查,第3模芯停止位置是模芯被钢模封闭起来的位置。
相同文献的技术具有以下工序:使钢模和模芯移动到型坯的挤压装置的下方,通过钢模和模芯来夹持型坯并闭合,以此状态回到第3模芯停止位置来安装内置部件。

发明内容
发明要解决的课题
根据专利文献1记载的技术,由于构造为模芯往复运动,并且钢模也沿着模芯的移动方向往复运动,因此存在以下问题:需要用于控制两者的动作联动的控制装置,其控制电路容易变得复杂。
本发明是为了解决上述课题创作而成的,其目的在于提供一种模具的控制较为简单的中空成型件的制造装置及制造方法。
用于解决课题的手段
为了解决上述课题,本发明的中空成型件的制造装置的特征在于,其从一端侧起依次排列设置有:型坯形成工位,在该型坯形成工位形成型坯;内置部件安装工位,在该内置部件安装工位,将具备内置部件的中央模具的两侧夹着型坯利用一对成型模具封闭起来,并将所述内置部件安装在转印于该成型模具的型坯;成型工位,在该成型工位,闭合所述成型模具,使中空成型件成型;以及搬送工位,在该搬送工位,将所述中空成型件从所述成型模具取出并进行搬送,所述中央模具固定设置在所述内置部件安装工位,所述成型模具设置为能够在所述内置部件安装工位和所述成型工位之间往复运动。
此外,本发明的中空成型件的制造方法的特征在于,其具有:型坯搬入工序,在该型坯搬入工序中,将型坯向一个方向搬入到具备内置部件的中央模具的两侧;内置部件安装工序,在该内置部件安装工序中,将所述中央模具夹着所述型坯利用一对成型模具封闭起来,并将所述内置部件安装在转印于该成型模具的型坯;成型模具移动工序,在该成型模具移动工序中,在安装了所述内置部件之后,将所述成型模具向所述一个方向移动到预定位置;成型工序,在该成型工序中,在所述预定位置闭合所述成型模具,来使中空成型件成型;以及搬送工序,在该搬送工序中,将从所述成型模具取出的所述中空成型件向所述一个方向进行搬送。
根据本发明的中空成型件的制造装置或制造方法,在成型模具和中央模具中仅使成型模具进行往复运动,模具的控制变得容易,能够以简单的控制装置来制造中空成型件。此外,由于可动部分减少,因而模具的构造变得简单,还抑制了模具的制造成本,并简化了模具的维护作业。
此外,本发明的中空成型件的制造装置的特征在于,其具备型坯搬入构件,该型坯搬入构件设置为能够在所述型坯形成工位和所述内置部件安装工位之间往复运动,用于对在所述型坯形成工位形成的型坯进行把持并将其搬入到所述中央模具的两侧。
根据本发明,能够以简单的构造进行型坯的搬入,能够抑制装置的制造成本。
发明的效果
根据本发明,模具的控制变得容易,能够以简单的控制装置制造中空成型件。此外,由于可动部分减少,因而模具的构造变得简单,还抑制了模具的制造成本,并简化了模具的维护作业。

具体实施方式
作为本发明的对象的中空成型件是例如搭载于汽车的燃料罐等吹塑成型件。如图1所示,本发明的中空成型件的制造装置1构成为,从一端侧起依次呈直线状地排列设置有:型坯形成工位S1,在该型坯形成工位S1形成型坯P;内置部件安装工位S2,在该内置部件安装工位S2,将具备内置部件2的中央模具3的两侧夹着型坯P利用一对成型模具4封闭起来,并将内置部件2安装在转印于成型模具4的型坯P;成型工位S3,在该成型工位S3,闭合成型模具4,使中空成型件W(图2)成型;以及搬送工位S4,在该搬送工位S4,将中空成型件W从成型模具4取出并进行搬送。
[型坯形成工位S1]
在型坯形成工位S1设置有型坯挤压装置5。从型坯挤压装置5挤压出的型坯P最终形成为一对型坯P(参照图2),它们被供给至中央模具3和左右成型模具4之间,且分别呈大致平板状。作为型坯挤压装置5,例如能够使用通用构造,其将溶融树脂从环状的树脂通道呈圆筒状地挤压成型坯P,所述环状的树脂通道形成于中央的心轴和外侧的钢模之间。在此情况下,可以采取以下等措施:通过在型坯挤压装置5的正下方设置切断器等来将呈圆筒状地垂下的型坯P在中央切断,使用辊等来使水平截面呈半圆状的各切片成为大致平板状,并垂下形成。也可以使用以下构造的型坯挤压装置5:其具有一对直线状的树脂通道,而不是环状的树脂通道,从各树脂通道将型坯P从一开始就挤压成平板状。
在中空成型件W为汽车的燃料罐的情况下,型坯P构成为以下多层截面构造:至少由用于形成罐内表面的内侧热塑性树脂层和用于形成罐外表面的外侧热塑性树脂层来夹着阻挡层,阻挡层由燃料不透过性优秀的材质构成。内侧热塑性树脂层和外侧热塑性树脂层的材质为例如热溶融性和成型性优秀的PE(高密度聚乙烯)。
[内置部件安装工位S2]
在内置部件安装工位S2设有中央模具3。该中央模具3为固定式。如图2所示,中央模具3在左右形成有配合面3A,在中空的内部具备气缸6,气缸6作为将内置部件2安装于型坯P的促动器。在图2中,示出了在两侧的型坯P分别安装内置部件2的例子。在气缸6的杆的末端具备夹紧机构7,借助该夹紧机构7来将内置部件2保持于气缸6的杆。夹紧机构7的详细说明由于脱离了本发明的主旨而省略。
在图1中,在型坯形成工位S1和内置部件安装工位S2之间具备型坯搬入构件8,型坯搬入构件8能够在两工位之间往复运动,用于对在型坯形成工位S1形成的型坯P进行把持,并将其搬入到中央模具3的两侧。型坯搬入构件8例如具备:直线状的导轨9,其在比中央模具3靠上方的位置架设为横跨型坯形成工位S1和内置部件安装工位S2;以及型坯搬送装置10,其在该导轨9上行驶。如图2的(a)所示,型坯搬送装置10具备一对把持机构11,所述把持机构11用于把持各型坯P的上部。在型坯形成工位S1中,当把持机构11对从型坯挤压装置5垂下的型坯P进行把持后,切断器(未图示)在比把持机构11的把持部靠上方的部位将型坯P上下切断,型坯搬送装置10对切断后的下侧的型坯P进行把持,并将其搬入到中央模具3的两侧。
[成型工位S3]
在图1中,成型工位S3是闭合成型模具4而使中空成型件W成型的区域。成型模具4设置为,其能够沿着铺设的导轨(未图示)在内置部件安装工位S2和成型工位S3之间呈直线状地往复运动。标号12示出了沿着所述未图示的导轨移动的基座,标号13示出了用于支承成型模具4的支架。
[搬送工位S4]
在搬送工位S4具备成型件搬送构件14,其用于从成型模具4将中空成型件W取出并进行搬送。成型件搬送构件14例如具备:直线状的导轨15,其在比成型模具4靠上方的位置架设为横跨成型工位S3和搬送工位S4;以及成型件搬送装置16,其在该导轨15上行驶。如图2的(g)所示,成型件搬送装置16具备把持机构17,把持机构17用于把持从成型模具4探出的修剪(pinchoff)部的上部。
对使用以上制造装置1的中空成型件W的制造方法进行说明。
[型坯搬入工序]
在图3的(a)中,从型坯挤压装置5挤压出中空成型件W的成型所需的分量的型坯P,在此状态下,型坯搬送装置10经由把持机构11来把持型坯P,并将型坯P向一个方向(Q方向)搬入到具备内置部件2的中央模具3的两侧(图3的(b)的状态)。成型模具4也与型坯P的搬入同时或先后位于中央模具3的两侧。
[内置部件安装工序]
参照图2进行说明,如图2的(a)所示,通过所述型坯搬入工序将型坯P搬入到中央模具3的两侧,此时,如图2的(b)所示,左右的成型模具4以将型坯P夹在中间的方式从两侧将中央模具3封闭。借助成型模具4的配合面4A和中央模具3的配合面3A来夹持型坯P的缘部整周,由此,使被成型模具4的成型面和型坯P包围的空间密闭,以此状态从成型模具4的成型面侧抽成真空来进行吹塑,由此,如图2的(c)所示,将型坯P转印于成型模具4的成型面。接着,如图2的(d)所示,气缸6的杆前进相当于预定长度的量,将内置部件2的基端按压于型坯P并埋设相当于预定的深度的量,由此,完成了内置部件2相对于型坯P的安装。在内置部件2的安装后,松开夹紧机构7的夹紧,如图2的(e)所示,气缸6的杆缩回。
[成型模具移动工序]
在内置部件2的安装后,如图2的(f)所示,成型模具4向左右打开,并且如图3的(c)所示,向所述一个方向、即Q方向移动到成型工位S3(预定位置)。
[成型工序]
接着,在成型工位S3中,如图2的(g)所示,闭合成型模具4,并向内部吹入空气,由此,使型坯P成型为中空成型件W。
此外,在该成型工序的期间,例如在中央模具3装填用于下一个中空成型件W的内置部件2。作为装填手段,例如使用机器人手臂等来将内置部件2自动装填在中央模具3内的夹紧机构7等。如果使用机器人手臂,则在装填时间上不会花费过多的时间,即使包括了借助传感器等对装填状态进行检查的时间,也能够在成型工序的期间内完成。当然,根据情况也可以使用通过人的手来将内置部件2装填在中央模具3内的方法。
[搬送工序]
在所述成型工序中将成型模具4闭合的状态下,成型件搬送装置16经由把持机构17对从成型模具4探出的修剪部的上部进行把持。因此,通过使成型模具4左右打开而脱模的中空成型件W如图3的(d)所示地以直接被把持机构17把持的状态向所述一个方向、即Q方向进行搬送,从而送至下一道工序。成型模具4再一次移动到中央模具3的两侧。
以上,本发明的制造装置1构成为,从一端侧起依次排列设置有:型坯形成工位S1,在该型坯形成工位S1形成型坯P;内置部件安装工位S2,在该内置部件安装工位S2,将具备内置部件2的中央模具3的两侧夹着型坯P利用一对成型模具4封闭起来,并将内置部件2安装在转印于成型模具4的型坯P;成型工位S3,在该成型工位S3,闭合成型模具4,使中空成型件W成型;以及搬送工位S4,在该搬送工位S4,将中空成型件W从成型模具4取出并进行搬送,中央模具3固定设置在内置部件安装工位S2,成型模具4设置为能够在内置部件安装工位S2和成型工位S3之间往复运动。根据该结构,能够构筑具有所述型坯搬入工序、内置部件安装工序、成型模具移动工序、成型工序及搬送工序的中空成型件W的制造方法,并起到了以下效果。
(1)在成型模具4和中央模具3中仅使成型模具4进行往复运动,因此模具的控制变得容易,能够以简单的控制装置来制造中空成型件W。此外,由于可动部分减少,因而模具的构造变得简单,还抑制了模具的制造成本,并简化了模具的维护作业。
(2)本发明的中央模具3固定设置在内置部件安装工位S2,成型模具4设置为能够在内置部件安装工位S2和成型工位S3之间往复运动。若设想为中央模具3能够往复运动、成型模具4固定的构造,则与该构造相比,本发明的型坯P的搬入路径较短即可。
即,在使中央模具3能够往复运动、使成型模具4固定时,在将内置部件2安装于型坯P之后使中央模具3从成型模具4退避移动时,若向搬送工位S4侧退避,则会与中空成型件W的搬送空间干涉,因此不得不向型坯形成工位S1侧退避。并且,若使中央模具3退避到型坯形成工位S1,则型坯P的挤压工序和内置部件2的装填工序无法并行,因此使中央模具3退避到型坯形成工位S1和成型模具4之间。即,成为了在型坯形成工位S1和成型模具4之间需要中央模具3的退避空间的布局,因此,从型坯形成工位S1到成型模具4为止的型坯P的搬入路径成为跨越了中央模具3的退避空间的较长的路径。
对此,本发明像图3的(a)、(b)所明确的那样,型坯P的搬入路径为从型坯形成工位S1到与其相邻设置的内置部件安装工位S2的较短路径即可。出于对型坯P进行温度管理的观点,型坯P与外部空气接触的时间越短越好,根据本发明,容易进行型坯P的温度管理和其解析。
此外,如果制造装置1具备型坯搬入构件8,该型坯搬入构件8设置为能够在型坯形成工位S1和内置部件安装工位S2之间往复运动,用于对在型坯形成工位S1形成的型坯P进行把持并将其搬入到中央模具3的两侧,则能够以简单的构造进行型坯P的搬入,能够抑制装置的制造成本。
以上,对本发明的优选实施方式进行了说明,但本发明并不限定于附图记载的结构,能够在不脱离其主旨的范围内进行各种设计变更。

1.一种中空成型件的制造装置,其特征在于,该中空成型件的制造装置从一端侧起依次排列设置有:
型坯形成工位,在该型坯形成工位形成型坯;
内置部件安装工位,在该内置部件安装工位,将具备内置部件的中央模具的两侧夹着型坯利用一对成型模具封闭起来,并将所述内置部件安装在转印于该成型模具的型坯;
成型工位,在该成型工位,闭合所述成型模具,使中空成型件成型;以及
搬送工位,在该搬送工位,将所述中空成型件从所述成型模具取出并进行搬送,
所述中央模具固定设置在所述内置部件安装工位,
所述成型模具设置为能够在所述内置部件安装工位和所述成型工位之间往复运动。
2.根据权利要求1所述的中空成型件的制造装置,其特征在于,该中空成型件的制造装置具备型坯搬入构件,该型坯搬入构件设置为能够在所述型坯形成工位和所述内置部件安装工位之间往复运动,用于对在所述型坯形成工位形成的型坯进行把持并将其搬入到所述中央模具的两侧。
