Claims (6)
- 対向する一対の主軸で各々把持した一対の材料を、一対の前記材料の対向する端面を各々接合面とし、一対の前記材料の互いの軸がずれた状態から互いの軸が一致する方向に、前記接合面を互いに接触させて所定の位置まで移動させ摩擦加熱する加熱工程と、
一対の前記材料を前記所定の位置で圧接する圧接工程と、を有する摩擦圧接方法であって、
各々の前記材料を軸方向の一方側から見て同一方向に同一回転数で回転させながら前記加熱工程及び前記圧接工程を行い、
前記加熱工程において一対の前記材料の軸を一致させる際に、一方の材料に対する他方の材料の移動速度を、外周縁の部分に比較して、軸心に向かって順次又は段階的に増加させることを特徴とする摩擦圧接方法。 - 一対の前記材料の軸が互いに一致する位置で前記圧接工程を行う、請求項1に記載の摩擦圧接方法。
- 前記圧接工程の後、前記材料を、軸方向の一方側から見て前記加熱工程及び前記圧接工程におけるのと同一方向に同一回転数で回転させたまま切削する切削工程を行う、請求項1又は2に記載の摩擦圧接方法。
- 対向する一対の主軸と、
一対の前記主軸で各々把持した一対の材料を、一対の前記材料の対向する端面を各々接合面とし、一対の前記材料の互いの軸がずれた状態から互いの軸が一致する方向に、前記接合面を互いに接触させて所定の位置まで移動させ摩擦加熱する加熱工程と、一対の前記材料を前記所定の位置で圧接する圧接工程とを行うように、一対の前記主軸の移動及び回転を制御する制御部と、を有する工作機械であって、
前記制御部が、一対の前記主軸を、軸方向の一方側から見て同一方向に同一回転数で回転させながら前記加熱工程及び前記圧接工程を行うとともに、前記加熱工程において一対の前記材料の軸を一致させる際に、一方の材料に対する他方の材料の移動速度を、外周縁の部分に比較して、軸心に向かって順次又は段階的に増加させるように制御することを特徴とする工作機械。 - 前記制御部が、一対の前記材料の軸が互いに一致する位置で前記圧接工程を行うように制御する、請求項4に記載の工作機械。
- 前記制御部により移動が制御される工具を備え、
前記制御部が、前記圧接工程の後、一対の前記主軸を、軸方向の一方側から見て前記加熱工程及び前記圧接工程におけるのと同一方向に同一回転数で回転させたまま前記工具を移動させて該工具により前記材料を切削する切削工程を行う、請求項4又は5に記載の工作機械。
