发明背景
本发明涉及穿透地下地层的井的增产。更具体而言,它涉及压裂和水力压裂的作业后保护。
烃(油、凝析油和气体)典型地是从钻入含有它们的地层中的井中开采的。由于各种原因,如储层固有的低渗透性或由钻井和完井所导致的地层损坏,流入井中的烃的流量不理想地低。在这种情况下,例如,使用水力压裂、化学(通常为酸)增产或这两种的组合(称为酸压裂或压裂酸化)使井“增产”。

当通过水力压裂或化学增产使多个含烃层增产时,需要处理在多个阶段中的多个层。在多层压裂中,将第一生产层压裂。然后,将压裂液导流到下一个阶段中以将下一个生产层压裂。重复该过程直至将所有生产层压裂。作为选择,如果几个生产层位置接近具有类似的性质,可以将它们同时压裂。导流可以使用各种手段实现。在多个压裂阶段中的应力/压力导流的常用方法如下。
第一种方法是桥塞技术。例如,操作员射孔,然后压裂,然后放置桥塞,然后在必要时重复该过程。这种方法通过在压裂层和目标层之间设置封隔器确保100%可靠的层间隔离。然而,这种方法是非常昂贵的。成本来自大量的钢缆使用的介入,这需要在压裂处理之前和之后另外的时间来射孔并且放置,然后从每一个生产层中取回封隔器。另外,封隔器的取回有时是危险的。
第二种方法是流通型复合桥塞(FTCBP)方法,这是桥塞的一种改进。FTCBP在其上面有更高的压力时,如在随后的压裂处理过程中起着桥塞的作用。然而,当在塞子下面的压力更高时,例如当井反向排液时,FTCBP让流体从下面流过所述塞子。使用FTCBP技术允许在完井过程中所有在前的压裂层排液。这种方法具有两个优点。首先,通过使每一条裂缝较早地反向排液,它显著降低关井时间。其次,所有预先处理的层有助于在每一次新的处理清井(clean up)。在完井之后,可以将FTCBP容易地钻出,或者可以留在井内。这种技术已经被证明是一种增产的可靠工具。主要的缺点是放置塞子所需的成本和时间。
第三种方法是砂塞(sand plug)技术。这类似于桥塞技术,不同之处在于使用砂塞代替工具。主要的想法是通过不同的射孔装置将几个生产层依次压裂,并且将砂塞放置在每一个处理段的末端以防止流出塞子,因此使连续段的应力场导流。这种方法显著降低时间和成本,因为它无需取回封隔器。然而,由于最初的原位应力变化,并不是所有的层均可以被压裂。而且,支撑剂的放置需要使用支撑剂装填井眼,从而可能导致处理的低效率。
第四种方法是限制进入方法,这是无需使用砂装填井眼的简化技术。这使得该方法更加经济。该方法是例如以与封堵所述段的堵塞球组合的形式使用的,或者通过具有对不同段不同的数量的射孔使用的。限制进入方法基本上依赖于跨过计算数量的射孔产生人为压降。由射孔数量、射孔的尺寸和注入速率,计算压降。然后通过射孔的数量来调节这种压差以在射孔的地层侧上产生等于压裂压力的指定压力。知道每一个砂层的精确压裂压力是限制进入技术的一个基本部分。在地层的生产层内的加密钻井程序中,任何给定的砂的压力可以显著变化。取得可靠的压力数据涉及测试每一层,从而增加完井的时间和成本。在不知道精确的数据的情况下,处理可能导致某组射孔很少或没有产量。
堵塞球通常包括悬浮在处理流体中并且与处理流体一起被泵送到井中的橡胶涂覆的小球。将球向下输运至与高渗透性地层连通的射孔。堵塞球位于这些射孔上,并且将处理流体导流到具有较低渗透性的地层。在一些情况下,在处理之后存在于井眼中的这些堵塞球在取回它们的过程中出现作业问题。如授予Ischy等的美国专利6,380,138中所报道,可降解的球的使用可以帮助消除这些问题。由聚酯聚合物制成的球随时间降解,从而形成可溶解的低聚物并且使射孔重新张开。
第五种方法是诱导应力导流技术(Induced Stress Diversion Technique)。这只是分段水力压裂处理的使用,而不使用任何可靠的隔离,如桥塞、压裂折流板、砂塞或堵塞球。ISD技术结合了限制进入技术和多级压裂技术的优点。该技术包括将多个压裂液泵送到井中并且依赖于由较早的压裂增产所赋予的诱导应力以将在后的裂缝转到需要的层中,而没有可靠的层间隔离。在这种方法中,由在前的阶段的水力压裂产生的诱导应力起着输入能的作用,以将裂缝有效地转移至后续阶段。可以使用ISD方法以根据需要通过将该过程重复多次对多个不连续的产油区间射孔并且压裂(参见图1)。一些ISD技术可以包括促使脱砂来帮助导流的方法。
然而,ISDT需要对储集层性质的充分了解。这使得ISDT在具有变化性质的层中不容易重复。为了实现最大应力导流,基于地层的机械性质需要优化的压裂处理。这通常需要使用设计工具如DataFRACTM(Schlumberger Technology Corp.的商品名)获得数据以及方法的后续重新设计。这是费时的。另外,重新设计强烈依赖于关于地层性质的临界假设。作为结果,目前没有证明ISDT在致密气层中的应用的可靠方法。因此,仍然存在的需要是在井眼环境下的导流、多段压裂或临时密封的容易而可靠的方法。
发明实施方案概述
本发明提供通过在裂缝、射孔或穿透地下地层的井眼(或多个这样的位置)中形成临时塞子而处理井的方法。根据本发明的一个实施方案的井处理方法包括:注入包含可降解材料的浆液,使所述可降解材料在射孔、裂缝或穿透地层的井眼中形成塞子;进行井下作业;以及使所述可降解材料在所选择的持续时间之后至少部分降解,以使塞子消失。所述可降解材料可以是酯、酰胺的聚合物或共聚物或其它材料。在所选择的持续时间之后,可降解材料在井眼条件下降解,使得除去塞子无需另外的介入。
塞子形成所提供的临时堵塞允许在不损坏现存的裂缝或没有来自现存的裂缝的介入的情况下进行其它井作业。这些其它井作业可以包括将其它层压裂、修井或井眼设备的安装。作为一个实例,将地层压裂,进行本发明的处理,并且将另一个层压裂。然后可以再次重复这些步骤。优选地,不使用砂塞、桥塞或任何隔离装置。优选地,使用产生的流体产生任何未降解的材料,而没有帮助将其除去的任何需要。处理可以进行使得在塞子和井头之间的井眼充满流体,并且在塞子的井眼侧上的水力压力大于在塞子的另一侧上的水力压力。
在其它实施方案中,浆液含有其它微粒(如支撑剂)或吸收剂。而且,可以加入其它添加剂以增加或降低可降解材料的降解速率。可以将本领域中已知的模拟技术与本发明的实施方案一起使用以优化井处理的参数。例如,可以使用模拟确定进行的操作所需的持续时间,然后相应地选择可降解材料、其浓度和泵送速率。ISD的主要限制在于诱导应力场限于它可以产生的应力的量,典型在约500psi(3.44MPa)的范围内。如果该层的压裂压力大于约500psi(3.44MPa),则产生的应力差将不足以防止最初的裂缝接受随后的注入。
从下列描述和后附权利要求中,本发明的其它方面和优点将变得明显。

发明具体实施方案详述
本发明的实施方案涉及用于临时堵塞井眼、射孔或地层裂缝使得可以更有效地或者在不损坏现存的裂缝的情况下进行其它作业(例如,其它层的压裂、修理、修井、井下设备的安装等)的方法。临时堵塞是通过使用在需要的时间内降解的可降解材料实现的。如在压裂中所用,本发明的技术类似于目前在美国大陆上使用的ISDT技术。
在过去,可降解材料已经用于滤失控制和导流。实例包括岩盐、分段的岩盐、苯甲酸薄片、蜡球、蜡钮扣、油溶性树脂材料等。然而,这些材料是以被设计成在井眼或裂缝面上构建滤饼的尺寸和形状的形式使用的;它们还没有被用于封堵井眼、射孔或裂缝。
在本发明的实施方案的情况下,使用各种可降解材料。这些材料包括例如石灰石或玻璃的无机纤维,但是更普通的是酯、酰胺的聚合物或共聚物或其它类似的材料。它们可以在非主链位置上部分水解。实例包括聚羟基链烷酸酯、聚酰胺、聚己内酯、聚羟基丁酸酯、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚乙烯醇、聚乙酸乙烯酯、部分水解的聚乙酸乙烯酯和这些材料的共聚物。例如,酯的聚合物或共聚物包括取代和未取代的丙交酯、乙交酯、聚乳酸和聚乙醇酸。例如,酰胺的聚合物或共聚物可以包括聚丙烯酰胺。还使用在碰撞的条件下在适合的时间溶解的材料,例如,含有三个以上羟基的多元醇。可用于本发明的多元醇是通过加热、脱盐或其组合可溶解的聚合物多元醇,并且基本上由在聚合物链中的羟基取代的碳原子组成,在聚合物链中相邻的羟基取代碳原子相隔至少一个碳原子。换句话说,有用的多元醇优选基本上没有相邻的羟基取代基。在一个实施方案中,多元醇具有大于5000至500,000以上的重均分子量,并且在另一个实施方案中具有10,000至200,000的重均分子量。在需要时,例如通过包含烃基取代基,如烷基、芳基或烷芳基部分和/或含2至30个碳原子的侧链,可以将多元醇进行疏水性改性,以进一步抑制或延迟增溶。还可以将多元醇改性成包含羧酸、硫醇、链烷烃(paraffin)、硅烷、硫酸、乙酰乙酰化物、聚环氧乙烷、季胺或阳离子单体。在一个实施方案中,多元醇是取代或未取代的聚乙烯醇,所述聚乙烯醇可以通过具有酯取代基的前体聚乙烯基材料的至少部分水解而制备。尽管通常不是必要的,但是可以通过含有适合的溶解剂或改变pH或盐度的洗涤剂帮助或加速降解。例如,在蒸汽驱(steamflooding)之前进行处理时,还可以通过升高温度帮助降解。下面,当我们使用术语可降解时,我们是指包括所有这些可适当溶解的材料。
这些材料典型地在高浓度(例如,>60lbm/1,000gal(>7.2g/L))下使用,以形成临时塞子或桥。如果纤维浆液可以失去水,从而使纤维浓缩,则浓度可以更低。可以使用的这些材料的最大浓度可能受到表面状态或可获得的共混设备的限制。
这些可降解或可溶解的材料可以处于任何形状:例如,粉末、微粒、小球、碎片或纤维。优选的实施方案可以使用处于纤维形状的这些材料。所述纤维可以具有约2至约25mm,优选约3至约18mm的长度。典型地,纤维具有约0.1至约20,优选约0.15至约6的旦尼尔。所述纤维优选在井眼条件下,在适合于所选择的作业的持续时间内降解。
尽管本发明的方法可以用于压裂、修理或其它类型的作业,但是为清楚起见,下列描述将使用水力压裂作为实例以说明本发明的实施方案。作为实例,还假定连续压裂在垂直井的底部或水平井的远端开始,并且朝井头进行。当然,根据应力分布,其它的顺序是可以的。本领域普通技术人员应当理解这不意在将本发明的范围限制为水力压裂。相反,本发明的方法还可以用于其它作业,如裂缝或井眼的临时封堵。
本发明的一些实施方案涉及已经形成的裂缝的临时堵塞,使得可以将其它层压裂。当用于多段压裂时,在压裂处理结束时,泵送可降解或可溶解的材料以临时封堵完成的裂缝。临时塞子将支撑剂封闭在裂缝中,从而使它们固定,并且在较低的层中,借助于由支撑剂与可降解材料架桥的高度可能性引起的显著净压升高,导致显著的应力增大和导流。根据本发明的一种选择性方法,在支撑剂段后面泵送可以形成临时封隔器的可降解材料以通过密封射孔而临时密封裂缝。在另一种选择中,在井眼中形成塞子以密封通向裂缝的射孔。在又一个实施方案中,在多个这样的位置形成塞子。使用这种系统,保护裂缝,并且可以在无需钢缆介入的情况下进行通常进一步上达孔的连续压裂处理。可降解材料将随着时间溶解并且不封堵裂缝。可降解材料可以具有各种性能,形状和内含物。材料衰变或解体可以是化学、温度或机械驱动的。这些方法可以使用在本领域中已知的任何适合的设备,包括已经被安装在井内喷射出新的射孔的连续油管(CT)进行。这些本发明的方法类似于目前在美国大陆上使用的ISDT技术。然而,根据本发明的实施方案的可降解材料辅助的导流(DMAD)可以提供高得多并且更可靠的应力导流。
如Willberg等在2005年6月20日提交的美国专利申请11/156,966,名称为“用于增产的可降解纤维系统”中所公开,已经将可降解材料用于其它的井下作业。此申请转让给本发明的受让人。根据本发明的实施方案可以使用的可降解材料可以包含各种化学组合物,只要它们可以在需要的时间内,在井眼条件下降解即可,所述井眼条件可以包括高达350°F(约180℃)以上的温度以及高达20,000psi(137.9MPa)以上的压力。如上所指出,本发明的一些实施方案涉及可降解材料辅助的导流,并且其它实施方案涉及现存的裂缝、射孔或井眼的密封。下面将根据下列这些目的描述可降解材料的需要的性能:作为应力导流剂或作为射孔、裂缝或井眼的密封。作为导流剂的可降解材料
在应力导流多段压裂中,应力应当超过破裂压力,和在后续阶段中的净压升高。用于导流到后续压裂段的应力或压力可能起因于四种机制:(1)应力随着深度的正常升高;(2)管道摩擦;(3)来自压裂的临时增压(净压);以及(4)在支撑剂上增加的应力。将详细分析这些因素的每一个。(在使用聚合物作为稠化剂的任何作业中自然发生的应力导流的另一种机制是由滤失引起的聚合物凝胶的浓度,但是这不会被进一步讨论)。
原位地层应力可能起因于负荷应力、热应力和构造应变。压裂压力增大的一般估值是0.62psi/英尺(14kPa/m)。这表明具有正常压力梯度的相同岩石每隔离1000ft(304.8m)具有620psi(4.27MPa)的导流力(divertingpower)。然而,实际上,压裂压力分布不是均匀的(它通常是岩性和所述的层的孔隙压力的函数),并且不随深度线性变化。因此,另外的能量通常需要被加入系统中以确保ISD技术始终如一地起作用。
管道摩擦随着深度降低井底压力。这对应力导流具有积极的影响。然而,即使在高流速(因此,高摩擦)下,摩擦压力也通常不超过1000psi/1000英尺(22.6kPa/m)。(在实践中,摩擦压力导流最多(例如,对于各种粘性流体)将不高于1000psi/1000英尺(6.90MPa/304.8m))。近来的趋势是将低的聚合物负荷用于压裂液。这些压裂液将具有低粘度、因此具有较低的摩擦压力。作为结果,在使用ISD技术的典型压裂作业中,摩擦压力将不起着重要的作用。(在限制进入技术的情况下,少数射孔产生人为的摩擦压力,这不是因为流体,而是因为少数射孔。)
压裂增压来自克服启动压裂过程的破裂压力的需要。破裂压力典型地比裂缝延伸压力高5-10%,这与闭合应力大致相同。在约10,000英尺(3048m)的深度,压裂梯度差的典型值是0.1-0.2psi/英尺(2.26-4.53kPa/m)。这意味着值得做的是在第一(下面)裂缝中具有相当过度的净压以克服上面层的破裂压力。然而,有用的是,在第一裂缝中的增压压力不应当通过返排释放。
图2显示了典型将在不同深度的地层压裂所需的过度压力的图(曲线21对应5000英尺(1524m);曲线22对应6000英尺(1829m);并且曲线23对应7000英尺(2134m))。在该图中,认为压裂梯度为0.65psi/英尺(14.7kPa/m),而破裂压力梯度为0.75psi/英尺(17kPa/m)。从图2中明显的是对于给定的油砂层之间的间距,生产层越深,所需的过度压力越高。例如,如果第一裂缝发生在7500英尺(2286m),并且下一裂缝发生7000英尺(2134m),在第一裂缝中所需的过度压力约为370psi(2551kPa)(参见曲线23)。在致密气层中,在高于10,000英尺(3048m)的深度,所需的过度压力可以高达2,000psi(13.8MPa)。这些数据全部假定相同的岩性和孔隙压力。在这些之中的每一个的变化可以影响曲线。
当在压裂之后停止泵送时,裂缝将在已经进入裂缝的支撑剂上闭合。用于估算在支撑剂上的闭合应力的普通工业实践是从被压裂的生产层段的估算原位应力中减去井底流动压力。然而,已经表明的是,由于边界层的影响,在支撑剂上的闭合应力可以显著高于预期。参见Schubarth等,“理解支撑剂闭合应力”SPE37489,SPE生产作业会议论文集,美国俄克拉荷马州俄克拉荷马市,1997年3月9-11日。通常,压裂不在与闭合应力较高的下页岩和上页岩接壤的目标砂中传播。在生产层中的砂和在边界处的砂之间的应力差可以在500和2500psi(3.44和17.2MPa)之间变化。生产层段的厚度可以从20变化至200英尺(6.1至61m)。基于这些值,已经表明过度的闭合压力可以从200英尺(61m)厚的油砂层的300psi(2.1MPa)变化至20英尺(6.1m)厚的油砂层的1500psi(10.34MPa),从而得到在砂-页岩边界的1500psi(10.34MPa)的原位压差(参见图3)。在砂-页岩边界的过度应力可能对裂缝传导性具有负面影响,但是它对应力导流具有积极影响。应当指出这种机制很大程度上不依赖于上面列举的四种机制的机制1-3,原因是不发生裂缝闭合,直至裂缝增压通过泄漏或返排完全消散。因此,这种机制可以被认为是与其它三种机制分开的。
在开始的三种导流机制之间的相互关系通过在公式中分析它们可以得到更好地理解。首先,让我们假定:
·第一油砂层被压裂,并且具有Δ1psi的临时增压;
·增压Δ1足以使第二阶段导流;
·存在0.65psi/英尺(14.7kPa/m)的正常应力随深度而增大;以及
·压裂液的摩擦压力为500psi/1000英尺(11.3kPa/m)。

不等式(5)表明如果将在第一裂缝中的净压完全释放(由于返排或泄漏),那么有325psi(2.24kPa)的过度压力使下一阶段导流。在低渗透性的硬岩石中,净压的典型值可以在1000和2000psi(6.9和13.8MPa)之间变化。这表明在第一阶段返排的情况下,可能容易超出ISD的安全裕度。
上面的描述说明了尽管ISD技术可以在某些地层中提供有效的导流,但是这些技术不能在其它地层中起作用。不幸的是,缺乏测量将要被压裂的每一个生产层的原位应力,没有可靠的方法来预测哪些地层适合ISD技术。本发明的实施方案通过加入可降解材料提高刚刚被压裂的生产层的净应力而提供更可靠的导流方法。
根据本发明的实施方案,为了在第一裂缝中实现更大的净压,在压裂处理结束时使用高浓度的特殊可降解材料。所述的可降解材料可以是纤维、粉末或任何其它的形式。实验室和现场实验已经表明在高浓度的纤维情况下,支撑剂-纤维浆液可能架桥。作为结果,该作业可能脱砂。这将导致净压的显著增加以及良好的近井支撑剂布置。这种方法可以被称为“尾部脱砂”。研究还表明纤维架桥是复杂的现象,这需要特殊的模拟以适当地设计这种作业。Boney等在2002年8月8日提交的序列号为10/214,817的美国专利申请公开了被设计成产生尖端脱砂的方法和组合物。该申请被转让给本发明的受让人。
另一方面,如果第一裂缝增压消失(例如,泄漏或返排),则上面列举的那些的第四种机制(即,在支撑剂上的增长应力)启动。图3显示如果在压裂的第一阶段中将几个薄生产层同时压裂,则在支撑剂上的增长应力可以成功地代替上述超载压力(surcharge pressure)。
上面的描述显示:在致密气层中,有两种选择来确保足够的导流用应力:(a)在第一油砂层中保持高的净超载压力,即防止返排或使其最小化;或者(b)依赖于在支撑剂上的高增长应力,即在第一阶段之后的即时返排。如果将在砂和页岩之间具有显著原位应力差的几个薄生产层压裂,则第二种选择(依赖于在支撑剂上的增长应力)应当是有利的。
上面的描述还显示:可以将在处理结束时的高可降解材料浓度用来:(a)保持支撑剂(即,为了降低在处理之前和之后的沉降速度并且为了降低支撑剂返排);以及(b)在前段中确保更大的净超载压力。
而且,上面的描述还显示:适合的设计和实验室试验是适宜的,以确保根据本发明实施方案的可降解材料辅助的导流(DMAD)技术适当地起作用。除设计和实验室试验以外,还可以使用模拟,以设计可降解材料辅助的导流的适当参数。在本领域中已知各种模拟技术用于设计在井下环境中的各种作业,如井的增产、完井等。本领域技术人员应当理解可以将这些模拟技术的任何一种与本发明的DMAD技术一起使用。
作为密封剂的可降解材料
本发明的一些实施方案涉及使用可降解材料作为密封剂以临时堵塞射孔、裂缝或井眼,使得可以在没有来自现存的裂缝的介入或对它的损坏的情况下进行其它作业。当可降解材料用作井眼、射孔或裂缝的密封剂时,所有上述导流机制也是可适用的。另外,可以在支撑剂段后面泵送高浓度(例如>60lbm/1,000gal(>7.2g/L))的例如处于纤维形式的可降解材料,以用纤维网络临时密封井眼、射孔或裂缝,并且使后续阶段导流。
已经进行了许多关于纤维塞子的产生和测试的实验室试验。测试表明,根据塞子组成,在250°F(121℃)下,直径为1cm并且长为2cm的塞子可以在2-4小时内经受住2500psi(17.2MPa)的压力。图4显示了由具有不同分子量的聚乳酸(PLA)制成的纤维塞子的寿命。如图4中所示,分子量越高的纤维塞子在测试条件(250°F(121℃);1000psi(6.9MPa))下的寿命越长。例如,具有分子量为77,600的聚合物的塞子具有几小时的寿命,而由分子量越高的聚合物制成的塞子的寿命越长(高达6小时)。
除使用更高分子量的聚合物以外,还可以通过使用防止聚合物降解的延迟剂,来延长塞子的寿命。例如,对于PLA聚合物,主要的降解机制是水解。通过将疏水剂加入聚合物(或塞子)中例如作为涂料,将降低水解速率。作为结果,如分子量为~128,000的聚乳酸制成的塞子的分解(其中在煤油的存在下、在250°F(121℃)以及1000和2500psi(6.89和17.24MPa)下,存在穿过塞子的流体的快速增加)的研究中所示,将延长聚合物的寿命(因此,塞子的寿命)。因此,可以控制塞子的寿命以适合作业目的。
本发明的一些实施方案使用如上所述的可降解纤维塞子。本发明的其它实施方案使用由可降解纤维和另一种材料如支撑剂、其它微粒(如砂)或可降解的吸收剂(如聚乳酸-共(co)-丙烯酰胺)形成的塞子。包含吸收剂材料可以帮助填充在塞子内部的孔隙并且使其更坚固。使用适合的RCP支撑剂或小粒度的非RCP支撑剂得到非常令人满意的结果:如图5中所示,在250°F(121℃),RCP/纤维塞子能够承受2500psi(17.2MPa)的压差几个小时。
根据本发明的一些实施方案,将可降解材料与使用粒度分布技术提高浆液的固含量的方法组合使用。在适当选择的多重模态粒度分布的情况下,更小的颗粒填充在较大颗粒之间的孔隙空间,从而导致浆液需要较少的水。典型的分布使用两个或三个不同的粒度范围。这提供具有改善的流动性和优异的凝固性如渗透性和强度的浆液。因此,本发明的一些实施方案使用不同尺寸的支撑剂代替RCP支撑剂。在这些实施方案的情况下,可以优化支撑剂组成以在纤维降解之后实现足够的塞子传导性。
使用这种方法(即,多重模态粒度分布),可以获得具有优异性能的临时射孔密封剂的各种组合。因为可以选择可降解或可溶解的材料如聚乳酸
纤维以与地层流体相容,并且可以容易地改变它们的井下寿命(例如,通过加入延迟剂以延长它们的寿命),所以这种方法在DMAD技术中是非常有吸引力的。
在设计多次压裂作业中,应当仔细地注意下列项:
1)化学品(可降解材料)可能对环境敏感,因此可能有稀释和沉淀问题。密封剂优选应当在地层或井眼中继续存在足够长的持续时间(例如,3-6小时)。持续时间对于下列情况应当足够长:(a)检修钢缆以对下一个油砂层射孔,(b)将完成一次或多次后续压裂处理,以及(c)裂缝在完全沉降之前的支撑剂上闭合;从而提供最好的裂缝传导性。在具有低泄漏的致密气层中,这可能是一个问题。
2)可降解材料密封剂不允许返排。作为结果,裂缝将在长得多的时间内是增压的。这对导流有益。然而,在低泄漏地层中,关井时间可能变得太长,这可能导致支撑剂沉降。在这种情况下,可以在可降解材料破裂之后使用返排帮助将支撑剂悬浮在裂缝中。
因此,应当在这两种考虑之间进行折衷。根据本发明的实施方案,在井眼和裂缝中的化学品寿命优选不短于2-3小时。另一方面,它们的寿命优选不超过某一限度以允许具有极低泄漏的地层返排。这表明密封剂种类和添加剂的适当选择是重要的。
更详细地考虑可降解材料密封剂机制。我们假设:
第一油砂层被压裂,并且具有Δ1psi的临时增压;
·材料的密封能力是pMS=1000psi(6.9MPa);
·诱导应力足以使到后续阶段导流;
·在深度为0.65psi/英尺(14.7kPa/m)的情况下,存在正常的应力升高;以及
·压裂液的摩擦压力为500psi/1000英尺(11.3kPa/m);并且
·静水压力差为500psi(3.45MPa)。
在这些假设的情况下,控制方程(4)可以被写为:

考虑到密封剂不提供返排,即大部分增压Δ1将保持在第一裂缝中,清楚的是可降解材料密封剂可以是优异的导流工具,从而提供高达或高于2000psi(13.8MPa)的过度压力。
从上面的描述中,显然关于地层和储层流体性能的丰富知识对于将可降解材料辅助的导流(DMAD)技术适当地用于多次压裂处理是重要的。下列参数是在优化DMAD作业中考虑的重要参数:原位应力分布;在油砂层和页岩之间的原位应力差;储层流体组成及其与可降解材料的相容性;以及保持在裂缝中的支撑剂。这些参数的一些可获自井下测量,而其它参数可能不是可获得的。如上所指出,本发明的实施方案可以使用模拟技术优化DMAD作业。可以使用在本领域中已知的适合模拟方法优化不可获得的任何参数。
如在上面的描述中说明,本发明的实施方案使用可降解材料临时堵塞射孔、裂缝或井眼,使得可以在其它层中进行作业。根据本发明的一些实施方案,在压裂处理结束时,将可降解材料在高浓度下泵送以临时封堵完成的裂缝,并且将支撑剂封闭在裂缝中,使其固定并且通过由支撑剂架桥的较高可能性引起的显著净压增加,导致显著的应力增加以及从较低的层的导流。根据本发明的一些实施方案,在支撑剂段后面泵送可以形成临时封隔器的可降解材料以临时密封与裂缝相关的射孔,或者临时密封与这些射孔相邻的井眼。使用这种系统,保护裂缝并且可以在无需钢缆介入的情况下进行进一步上达孔的后续压裂处理。
可降解材料将随着时间溶解并且不封堵裂缝。可降解材料可以具有各种性能,形状和组成。材料衰变或解体可以是化学、温度或机械驱动的。本发明的方法可以使用在工业上使用的任何适合的设备,如被安装在准备喷射出新射孔的井内的连续油管进行。尽管本发明的方法在概念上类似于ISDT,但是本发明的可降解材料辅助的导流(DMAD)保证高得多并且更可靠的应力导流。
图6显示了根据本发明的一些实施方案的方法的示意性图示。根据这种方法,在支撑剂段的尾端加入可降解材料/化学品以导致支撑剂架桥。该材料的加入显著增加在前段(显示为生产层1)中形成的裂缝中的支撑剂架桥的可能性。一旦发生支撑剂架桥,就将支撑剂封闭在裂缝中,从而防止返排并且帮助保持生产层1中的增压应力(在右边以虚线压力分布形式表示)。支撑剂架桥还可以导致近井脱砂,转而可以显著增加在生产层1中的压裂增压。在生产层1中的增压应力将压裂液导流到将要被压裂的下一个生产层(表示为生产层2)。
如上所指出,加入的可降解材料可以具有各种形状(例如,微粒或纤维)。应当优选基于裂缝宽度选择添加剂的尺寸;它们应当小于裂缝开口使得它们可以进入到裂缝中。另外,可降解材料应当在需要的持续时间(如3-6小时)内承受得住地层条件,即,应当满足相容性要求。
图7显示了根据本发明的一个实施方案的另一种方法。在这种方法中,在支撑剂段后面以高浓度泵送可降解材料。该化学品连同支撑剂一起阻塞射孔,从而产生临时密封。如上所示,根据地层条件,由可降解材料形成的临时密封(或塞子)可以在250°F(121℃)承受高于2500psi(17.2MPa)的压差(参见图4和5)几个小时。在优选实施方案中,密封或塞子仅由一种或多种可降解材料组成。然而,因为存在将支撑剂过度泵送到裂缝中的危险,所以在一些情况下,可以值得做的是通过在支撑剂段的末端加入特殊的化学品或材料(架桥诱导材料,如玻璃纤维)诱导尾端脱砂。密封和架桥诱导材料可以不同于可降解材料。根据本发明的这些实施方案,两种材料应当与储层流体相容需要的持续时间。
图8显示了根据本发明的一个实施方案的另一种方法。根据这种方法,可以在井眼中形成临时桥塞。临时桥由可降解材料形成。这种方法将密封延伸到井眼中,以确保防止在前的裂缝重复压裂(将现存的裂缝再次打开)。与图7中所述的方法类似,可以诱导尾端脱砂。尽管在射孔和井眼中可能存在一定量的砂,但是由于尾端脱砂的诱导,在井眼中的砂量将远少于使用砂塞技术的砂量。实际上,部分或完全封堵井眼、射孔和裂缝的所有组合和互换是本发明的实施方案。
图9显示了根据本发明的一个实施方案的另一种方法。在这种方法中,在压裂处理结束时将可降解材料与支撑剂一起泵送以在射孔和/或井眼中形成复合塞子。无需诱导的尾端脱砂。在这种情况下,可以实现最好的分段导流。应当选择可降解材料使得它们在井眼中继续存在几个小时。该实施方案的一个可能的缺点是在密封材料消失时,在返排过程中来自井眼中的材料的出砂。
如上所指出,在射孔、一个或多个裂缝、井眼或这些的任何组合中形成临时桥或密封的本发明的方法可用于后续压裂或在井下进行的其它作业。根据本发明的一些实施方案,在形成临时密封之后,井可以经历代替后续压裂的各种处理。例如,可以修复(酸处理)井眼,或者可以进行电动潜没泵(ESP)的安装。可以选择封堵剂以维持足够久而在后续井下作业的预期时间内保护地层。
因此,根据本发明的一些实施方案,使用可降解材料临时密封或堵塞裂缝。使用可降解材料临时保护裂缝免受后作业修井液的损害,或者临时保护井下设备免受裂缝返排的损害。可降解材料的选择取决于预期的损害、井底条件和保护所需的持续时间。
根据本发明的实施方案,可降解材料优选与不同pH压裂液以及含有不同浓度的盐(例如氯化钠NaCl、氯化钙CaCl2、溴化钠NaBr、氯化钾KCl等)的盐水相容。可降解材料应当与尽可能宽的温度范围相适应。优选可降解材料与大于32°F(0℃)的温度相适应。可降解材料应当还与加重盐水或完井液相容。
根据本发明的一些实施方案,可以泵送不同种类的化学品以加速或延迟可降解材料的分解(参见上述)。延迟剂的实例可以包括任何类型的疏水材料(例如,煤油、油、柴油、聚合物、表面活性剂等),所述的疏水材料将覆盖可降解材料的表面以延缓它们与水的相互作用。对于多元醇,例如,部分水解的聚乙酸乙烯酯,例如可以将盐包含于流体中;高离子强度降低这些材料的溶解度。促进剂的实例可以包括将加速可降解材料的分解的任何高或低pH的液体(例如碱性或酸性溶液)。
如上所指出,使用可降解材料的地层裂缝的导流或密封的本发明方法可以基于由模拟获得的结果。本领域普通技术人员应当理解各种地层模拟技术可用于水力压裂,如Schlumberger的FracCADE stimulatorTM以及在授予Pierce等的美国专利6,876,959中公开的方法,该专利被转让给本发明的受让人。其它可用的软件例如包括拟三维(P3D)水力压裂模拟器和平面三维(PL3D)水力模拟器(包括来自Stim-Lab和马拉松石油公司(MarathonOil Co.)的GOHFERTM)。本发明的实施方案不限于任何具体的模拟方法。
根据本发明的一些实施方案,使用模拟来模拟所关注的地层的诱导的应力导流。然后,相应地选择所用的流体的种类和量以及压裂作业的持续时间和泵送速率。
本发明的实施方案提供用于导流分段压裂的应力/压力的有效方法。本领域普通技术人员应当理解这些方法可以用于任何类型的井,包括垂直、偏斜或水平井以及裸井或下套管井。
尽管上面的描述使用水力压裂说明了本发明的实施方案,但是本领域普通技术人员应当理解本发明的方法还可以用于其它类型的压裂,包括滑水(或水压裂)和酸压裂。本领域普通技术人员应当理解在本发明的实施方案的情况下可以使用各种酸压裂方法,包括井下生成酸的方法(使用乳化酸、包封酸或固体酸前体)。例如,Still等于2003年10月27日提交的美国专利申请10/605,784公开了使用固体酸前体以通过水解或溶解提供酸的受控释放。该申请被转让给本发明的受让人。
根据本发明的一个实施方案,可以在酸压裂中使用可降解材料。可降解材料在高渗透性的层中形成临时堵塞物,以将酸压裂液导流到需要处理的层中。酸压裂可以使用例如固体酸前体。固体酸前体可以是丙交酯、乙交酯、聚乳酸、聚乙醇酸、聚乙酸和聚乙醇酸的共聚物、乙醇酸与其它含羟基、羧酸或羟基羧酸的部分的共聚物、乳酸与其它含羟基、羧酸或羟基羧酸的部分的共聚物,或者前述的混合物。固体酸可以和第二固体混合,所述的第二固体与酸反应以提高固体酸前体的溶解和水解的速率。
而且,本发明的实施方案还可以用于临时封堵裂缝或井眼以达到需要的效果或进行其它作业。例如,本发明的方法可以用于在压裂之后临时闭井以使裂缝可以回缩(relax)。对于这种目的,持续时间典型地是短的,例如约0.5小时。人们可以选择适当的可降解材料来实现需要的持续时间。根据本发明的实施方案的可降解塞子还可以用作“压井段塞(kill pills)”以临时封堵射孔或裂缝。
根据本发明的实施方案的可降解材料的加入可以是使用现有设备实践的。本领域普通技术人员应当理解在本领域中使用的各种方法可以适合与本发明的方法一起使用。例如,可以将可降解材料与支撑剂在混合器中混合。可以通过改进的进料器或平接式(flush)套件控制化学品(可降解材料或其它添加剂)的加入。作为选择,还可以通过在井眼中的连续油管放置可降解材料。类似地,还可以使用连续油管注入(添加)延迟剂或促进剂。还可以通过连续油管或管道放置可降解材料,同时向下压裂在连续油管和套管之间的环形空间。可降解材料将与支撑剂混合,或者只在套管中的支撑剂后面以促使架桥。
还可以将本发明的方法与例如序列号为11/156,966的美国专利申请中所述的在例如滑水处理中使用纤维帮助输运支撑剂的方法组合,该美国专利申请的名称为“用于增产的可降解纤维系统(Degradable Fiber Systems forStimulation)”,在2005年6月20日提交,被转让给与本申请相同的受让人。所述方法还可以用于其中在无支撑剂的流体,例如压力处理的前置液中也使用纤维的处理,或者防止流体滤失到天然裂缝中,例如,如在序列号为11/206,898的美国专利申请中所述,该美国专利申请的名称为“用于控制滤失量的方法(Methods for Controlling Fluid Loss)”,2005年8月18日提交,被转让给与本申请相同的受让人。优选地,在这些组合处理的所有阶段中均使用相同的纤维。作为一个实例,在压裂处理阶段的前置液和/或帮助支撑剂输运的阶段的主压裂液中,以及在用于可降解材料辅助的导流的阶段的末尾使用相同的可降解纤维。
应当指出可以在压裂阶段结束时降低泵送速率以加速例如在水力压裂中的纤维和支撑剂或酸压裂中的纤维的脱砂。还应当指出应当将第一裂缝置于地层的最弱部分,该部分可能在井头端、远端或其间的任何地方,并且可以将所述层以任何顺序压裂。如果一个或多个塞子在井眼中,而不是在裂缝中,则这将需要在处理过程中除去一个或多个塞子。
尽管已经描述了本发明的少数实施方案,但是受益于本公开的本领域技术人员应当理解可以设计不偏离在此公开的本发明范围的其它实施方案。因此,本发明的范围应当只限于后附权利要求。
Claims (10)
1.一种井处理方法,所述方法包括:
a)注入包含可降解材料的浆液,
b)使所述可降解材料在穿透地层的井中的射孔、裂缝和井眼中的一个或多个中形成塞子;
c)进行井下作业,所述井下作业包括水力压裂或酸压裂;
d)使所述可降解材料在所选择的持续时间之后至少部分降解,以使所述塞子消失,
其中所述水力压裂或酸压裂包括注入前置液,所述前置液包含含可降解材料的纤维。
2.权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述可降解材料包含下列中的一种或多种:
a)酯的聚合物,优选其中所述聚合物选自丙交酯、乙交酯、聚乳酸、聚乙醇酸的聚合物及其混合物,
b)酰胺的聚合物,优选聚丙烯酰胺,
c)聚乙烯酯,优选部分水解的聚乙酸乙烯酯,或
d)石灰石纤维或玻璃纤维。
3.权利要求1或2所述的方法,其中所述可降解材料以不小于40lbm/1,000gal(4.8g/L)的浓度存在。
4.在前权利要求中任一项所述的方法,其中所述可降解材料是纤维。
5.在前权利要求中任一项所述的方法,其中所述浆液还包含粒状材料,优选可降解粒状材料或支撑剂。
6.权利要求5所述的方法,其中所述支撑剂包含具有粒度分布的颗粒。
7.在前权利要求中任一项所述的方法,其中所述浆液还包含用于延迟或加速所述可降解材料的降解的添加剂。
8.权利要求1所述的方法,其中对多层地层的多个层使用所述水力压裂或酸压裂。
9.权利要求8所述的方法,其中所述注入浆液的步骤在压裂层结束时进行。
10.在前权利要求中任一项所述的方法,其中所述处理用于隔离选自裂缝、生产层和所述井眼的一部分的区域,其中所述井眼的所述部分高于所述地层的压力。
