发明详述

本发明的美感提高性淀粉可由任何淀粉源制备。合适的淀粉包括但不限于玉米、小麦、稻米、木薯、土豆、西米、豌豆或甘薯。在一个实施方案中,所述淀粉为玉米、土豆、小麦、稻米或木薯。在另一实施方案中,所述淀粉为木薯。
就本发明而言,在用硅酸盐或硅醇盐试剂改性之前,所述基础淀粉可为天然的、化学或物理改性的。所述淀粉改性可如“Modified Starches:Properties and Uses”,O.B.Wurzburg,CRC Press,1986,Boca Raton,Florida(第2-9章)所述,通过引用将其全部并入本文。合适的淀粉改性包括但不限于醚化,酯化和通过酸、氧化剂和酶作用而降解。物理改性可包括热处理、研磨、锤磨和糊精化(热和酸处理)以及其他类似方法。

在一个实施方案中,所述淀粉衍生物具有小于约0.45的摩擦系数,通过下文所述的摩擦系数测试程序测定。在另一实施方案中,摩擦系数小于约0.37。在又一实施方案中,摩擦系数小于约0.20。
在一个实施方案中,将所述美感提高性淀粉以不产生任何明显副作用如浑浊或成片(flaking)的有效量添加至个人护理配制剂中。在一个实施方案中,所述改性淀粉以占总配制剂重量的约0.1-约25重量%的量存在于所述配制剂中。在另一实施方案中,所述美感提高性淀粉以占总配制剂重量的约0.5-约10重量%的量存在于该配制剂中。
在本发明的一个方面中,视具体情况而定,掺有本发明美感提高性淀粉的头发和皮肤护理组合物可用任何对所述美感提高性淀粉呈惰性且对头发或皮肤呈惰性的化妆品可接受的载体配制。“化妆品可接受的”意指所述载体对皮肤或头发呈惰性且允许容易且均匀地以包含所述反应产物的薄膜形式施加至皮肤或头发上。该类载体可包括许多形式中的任一种,包括水包油乳液,油包水乳液,无水或基本无水的组合物如油基液体、淤浆、粉末或糊,以及含水溶液、淤浆和糊。

所述化妆品可接受的载体还可包含一种或多种有机硅氧烷弹性体,通常为已知为非乳化性的那些。如果存在的话,该类弹性体可占该组合物总重量的约0.1-30%。合适弹性体的实例包括但不限于聚二甲基硅氧烷/乙烯基聚二甲基硅氧烷交联聚合物、甲基乙烯基硅氧烷、甲基乙烯基硅氧烷-二甲基硅氧烷共聚物、二甲基乙烯基甲硅烷氧基封端的二甲基聚硅氧烷、二甲基乙烯基甲硅烷氧基封端的二甲基硅氧烷-甲基苯基硅氧烷共聚物、二甲基乙烯基甲硅烷氧基封端的二甲基硅氧烷-二苯基硅氧烷-甲基乙烯基硅氧烷共聚物、三甲基甲硅烷氧基封端的二甲基硅氧烷-甲基乙烯基硅氧烷共聚物、三甲基甲硅烷氧基封端的二甲基硅氧烷-甲基苯基硅氧烷-甲基乙烯基硅氧烷共聚物、二甲基乙烯基甲硅烷氧基封端的甲基(3,3,3-三氟丙基)聚硅氧烷和二甲基乙烯基甲硅烷氧基封端的二甲基硅氧烷-甲基(3,3,-三氟丙基)硅氧烷共聚物等。
本发明的组合物还可包含其他任选成分,如呈聚合物结构化剂形式的结构化剂,例如丙烯酸系聚合物、聚酰胺或聚氨酯。所述结构化剂可为水或油溶性的或分散性的。这类结构化剂提供结构,或者提高所述组合物的粘度。所述结构化剂可以以占总组合物重量的约0.1-50%,在另一实施方案中为约0.5-40%,在又一实施方案中为约1-35%的量存在。合适的结构化剂包括天然蜡、合成蜡或矿物蜡如矿脂蜡、小烛树蜡、地蜡、合成蜡、聚乙烯、硅酮蜡如硬脂基或山萮基聚二甲基硅氧烷等。合适的聚合物结构化剂包括卡波姆,丙烯酸系聚合物或共聚物如丙烯酸酯共聚物、聚丙烯酸酯-1交联聚合物、丙烯酸酯/丙烯酸C10-30烷基酯交联聚合物、丙烯酸Cl0-30烷基酯交联聚合物(例如以或商购获得的那些)、酯或酰胺封端的聚酰胺(以或由Arizona Chemical商购获得的那些),或聚氨酯的水分散体或溶液。
现在借助下文实施例阐述本发明。所述实施例旨在例示本发明,但并非意欲以任何方式限制本发明的范围。本发明的限度和范围仅由所附权利要求限定。
实施例
实施例1:制备淀粉硅醇盐
将总计为500g的木薯淀粉添加至2L塑料烧杯中,并在顶置式搅拌器的搅拌下添加750mL的23℃去离子水。一旦该淤浆均一,则通过在表面上喷洒粉末而缓慢添加20g甲基硅醇钠。该20g的总添加时间耗时约5分钟且必须缓慢进行以避免局部区域产生高浓度。在保持搅拌下在水浴中将该烧杯加热至45℃,并反应过夜(12小时)。然后,用稀HCl(0.1N)调节该淤浆的pH以获得6.0-7.0的pH值。将该淤浆经由滤纸过滤,所得滤饼用2L去离子水洗涤。将湿滤饼破碎至一张牛皮纸上,并干燥过夜或直至淀粉的水含量低于15%(通过烘箱固体测定)。
实施例2:制备淀粉硅酸盐
将总计为500g的木薯淀粉在塑料烧杯中于750mL去离子水中淤浆化,并用顶置式搅拌器混合。一旦淤浆均一,则向该淤浆中添加20g甲基硅酸钠,并用稀HCl(0.1N)将pH值调节至约7.0。然后将该淀粉经由滤纸过滤,然后破碎至铝箔上。将该淀粉置于预热至80℃的强迫通风烘箱中达2小时。然后将该烘箱加热至105℃,并将该淀粉再加热4小时。在该分配时间之后,从烘箱中取出淀粉并冷却至室温。
实施例3:铺展性测试
铺展性测试测量皮肤护理配制剂的耐受性并模拟该产品在皮肤上的铺展,例如施加润手香脂。所述测试采用下述程序使用Stable Micro System'sTexture Analyzer模型TA.XT.PLUS和软件包—Exponent Micro Systems4.0.3.0版(由Texture Technologies Corp,Scarsdale,NY发布)进行。
铺展性测试的程序
1.从所列的测试选项中选择“摩擦机(rig)测试”。
a.摩擦机测试是一种特殊测试,其允许T.A收集与通过拖曳装置横穿试样时试样的铺展程度有关的数据且收集与拖曳该装置时的困难程度有关的数据。
b.“返回至开始测试”使T.A从距试样特定距离处启动并在特定距离处刺穿试样。然后返回至初始状态。
c.点击“高级选项”,下拉并确定其为“开启”。
d.将设定值改变至下述值:
i.测试模式:拉伸
ii.测试速率:5
iii.后测试速率:5
iv.目标模式:距离
v.距离:95
vi.触发类型:按钮
vii.中断模式:关闭
viii.在何处停止绘图:起始位置
ix.校正模式:自动
x.高级选项:开启
2.一旦所有校正值填充满,则点击左下角的“更新项目”按钮。
3.现在在左手菜单中点击“测试配置”停止图标。
a.测试配置窗口允许操作者设定该程序保存数据的文件名。其还提供一些额外的参数,其中可设定数据获取速率(这是T.A收集数据的快慢程度)。
b.“文件ID”名应遵循如下格式:
i.测试类型_测试编号_数据_产品_笔记本编号
例如:铺展_1_071607_产品A_3564871
ii.Exponent软件自动在各独立测试的各保存文件后面添加测试编号。例如:文件ID=铺展_1_071607_产品A_3564871。然而,一旦进行测试,Exponent会将该文件保存为:铺展_1_071607_产品A_35648711。请注意最后面存在额外的“1”。
c.“文件编号”应等于1,且“格式”应保持空白。
d.确保已检查“自动保存”检查框。如果没有,则检查。
e.当显示“路径”时,点击其右侧的箭头并手动选择数据的保存位置。该保存位置应为在SOP开始时创建的新文件夹。
f.“标题”文档应与同一文档中的“文件ID”名匹配。
g.对“批量”选项而言,应检查右侧的“应用文件ID”检查框。如果没有,则检查。
h.返回至“文件信息”选项卡。点击“应用”、点击“OK”,然后再次点击“OK”。
与铺展机设置有关的指示
4.将连接探头旋入最接近其本体的T.A臂上的孔中。
5.T夹具应如下所示与T.A连接。应注意螺钉与最右侧对齐,从而使得螺钉实际上钉在其夹具的右侧。如果其不与右侧对齐,则需要调整腿的高度。当该机器侧翻时,这可通过将该脚简单地左旋或右旋直至获得水平平面而进行。
6.小心地将机器侧翻,从而使得T夹具上的另一只腿支撑其重量。可由下页的图清楚看出。
7.使用长螺钉和平头螺丝起子将滑动夹具与连接探头相连。
8.将长玻璃板置于滑动夹具下方,并在远端夹住其两面。
距离的校正
9.现在必须校正距离。
a.将滑动夹具置于玻璃上,并使用T.A上的箭头使其运动,从而使得末端距墙壁为1英寸。
b.为了校正距离,移向顶部,下拉菜单并选择:
“T.A”→“校正”→“校正高度”
i.输入如下值:
“返回距离(mm)”=10
“返回速率(mm/秒)”=10
“接触力(g)”=1
点击“OK”
c.使该臂运动至右侧,直至其与平台接触,然后返回至左侧。平台上的壁现在称为零点。
10.为了预设初始距离,移向顶部并下拉菜单:“T.A”→“移动探头”
a.该功能允许操作者使用滑块移动T.A。然而,该功能主要用于预设初始距离,从而使得所有测试均在同一距离下开始。
b.为此,点击:“菜单”→“设置”并应选择“Pos1”选项卡。
i.输入如下值:
“距离”=10(mm)
“力”=“保持空白”(←真的保持空白!)
“速率”=40(mm/秒)
c.点击“Pos2”选项卡
ii.输入如下值:
“距离”=100(mm)
“力”=“保持空白
“速率”=40(mm/秒)
点击“OK”。
d.仍在“移动探头”窗口内,移至“菜单”→“位置1:”→点击“以40mm/秒运动至位置10mm”。(确认T.A臂运动至壁紧前方的位置)。
运行测试
将一片胶带置于玻璃一面上,其背面(最接近铰链的部分)置有滑动夹具。
11.抬起滑动夹具并遵循下述指示:
a.对电子吸移管使用2.5mL的尖端,以将采集量设定为2.5mL且排放量为0.25mL。
b.吸移管模式类似于下文所示。各数值表示0.25mL线的终点。
12.小心地将滑动夹具倒置于试样上面并轻压2秒钟。
13.移至顶部并下拉菜单:“T.A”→“运行测试”
a.检查以确保所有文件名都是正确的并检查自动保存。
b.点击“运行测试”。
14.第一次运行应仅使试样铺展一小点。一旦探头返回至其初始位置且正式停止测试,则在中心或矩形滑动夹具上添加200g重物。这有助于挤压试样,从而使得可读取实际摩擦读数。
15.点击键盘上的“Control+Q”。这将执行快速测试。除了Exponent自动更新的运行次数之外,该操作不导致任何变化。
16.对总计5轮而言,重复前一步骤3次或更多次。
17.一旦实施5轮,抬起滑动夹具并用纸巾清洁玻璃和滑动夹具,需要的话使用Kimwipe和丙酮。5轮视为一个完整的测试。如果下一测试使用不同的奶液,则在将玻璃从机器上取下后,可使用丙酮、或者肥皂和水。
18.对总计为3个完整测试(总计15轮)再重复该测试2次。
19.对每一个新试样,在“区域5C:3”处开始并因此实施。
20.在当天的测试完全结束时,清洁所有设备并从T.A上取下铺展机。
结果:
木薯OSA与木薯硅醇盐的对比
配制:
1.将除黄原胶之外的全部相A成分添加至主烧杯中。在均化器上以低至中速混合以获得均匀糊,并加热至75-80℃。喷入黄原胶并在低至中速下继续混合直至完全水合。
2.将相B的成分添加至侧烧杯中,并用低速螺旋桨叶片将该液体混合,然后加热至75-80℃。
3.一旦相A和相B达到所需温度,在中等均化下将相B添加至相A中。混合10分钟,然后冷却至65℃。
4.当批料达到65℃时,喷入相C并在低至中速下均化10分钟,直至水合。
5.在独立烧杯中预混相D,然后在上述步骤4结束之后添加至主批料中。
6.当批料均匀时,冷却至45℃并添加相E。中等均化直至完全分散。
7.将批料切换至用U形桨扫式混合,并继续低速混合,同时冷却至25℃。

如表2所示的上述铺展性测试结果证实,包含美感OSA木薯(13a)淀粉的试样性能不如硅醇盐改性的木薯。该发现表明,木薯硅醇盐能在皮肤护理配制剂中提供光滑性、乳脂状和润滑性的美学性质。
实施例4:摩擦系数
摩擦系数测试程序为Falex Corporation of Sugar Grove,IL所运行的专有程序,其提供付费服务,并使用Falex多试样试验机Lever Load版。

上表3的结果表明,与未经处理的同一类型的天然淀粉相比,用甲基硅醇盐处理的天然淀粉显著降低了摩擦系数,这与皮肤上的更光滑、更丝质感觉有关。
实施例5:干香波配制剂
制备包含表4所示组分的本发明干香波配制剂的实施例。

根据如下程序制备配制剂:
1.在容器中装入乙醇;
2.开始用均化器混合;
3.在混合乙醇的同时,在浓缩相中缓慢筛入所有物质,直至所有组分完全分散;
4.一旦添加所有组分,则继续混合约10分钟;
5.将混合物装罐并充入推进剂A-46。
实施例6:爽身粉配制剂
制备包含表5所示组分的本发明爽身粉配制剂的实施例。

根据下述程序制备配制剂:
1.在容器中合并所有成分。
2.将各成分一起混合直至均匀。
实施例7:防晒配制剂
制备包含表5所示组分的本发明爽身粉的实施例。
根据下述程序制备配制剂:
1.将去离子水与丙二醇、EDTA二钠和Phenonip一起添加至主烧杯中,开始在低均化器混合(2000-3000rpm)下加热至75-80℃;
2.一旦分散,喷入Carbopol940并在低至中速(2000-3000rpm)下均化直至水合;
3.然后,向主烧杯中添加Dermacryl AQF并混合直至分散;
4.将相B成分添加至侧烧杯中,并在300rpm的桨叶混合下开始加热至75-80℃;
5.一旦相A和B达到所需温度,在中速均化(4000rpm)下将相B添加至相A中,在75-80℃下混合10分钟。开始将批料冷却至45℃;
6.一旦温度低于45℃,则预混相C并将其添加至主烧杯中。均化(4000rpm)5分钟,直至分散且均匀;
7.将相D添加至主烧杯中并均化(4000rpm)直至完全分散并均匀。将该批料切换至扫式叶片模式并在20rpm下混合,同时冷却至25℃。
尽管此处参照具体实施方案对本发明进行了说明和阐述,然而本发明并非旨在受限于所示细节。相反,可在权利要求的范围和等同范围内对所述细节进行各种变化而不偏离本发明的主旨。
Claims (12)
1.一种个人护理配制剂,其包含用至少一种碱金属烷基硅醇盐改性的淀粉和化妆品可接受的载体,其中所述化妆品可接受的载体为水包油乳液、油包水乳液、无水组合物或含水量基于该组合物总重量为小于1%的基本无水的组合物。
2.根据权利要求1的个人护理配制剂,其中所述淀粉选自玉米、土豆、稻米、小麦和木薯。
3.根据权利要求2的个人护理配制剂,其中所述淀粉为木薯。
4.根据权利要求1的个人护理配制剂,其中所述淀粉用0.1-5.0重量%的甲基硅醇盐改性,基于该淀粉的重量。
5.根据权利要求4的个人护理配制剂,其中所述淀粉用0.2-1.0重量%的甲基硅醇盐改性,基于该淀粉的重量。
6.根据权利要求1的个人护理配制剂,其中所述配制剂为加色化妆品粉末。
7.根据权利要求1的个人护理配制剂,其中所述配制剂为软膏。
8.根据权利要求1的个人护理配制剂,其中所述配制剂为呈乳液形式的霜或奶液。
9.根据权利要求1的个人护理配制剂,其中所述配制剂为干香波粉末配制剂。
10.根据权利要求9的个人护理配制剂,其中所述配制剂进一步包含推进剂。
11.一种制备根据权利要求1-10中任一项的个人护理配制剂的方法,包括将所述改性淀粉添加至所述化妆品可接受的载体中,其中所述化妆品可接受的载体为水包油乳液、油包水乳液、无水组合物或含水量基于该组合物总重量为小于1%的基本无水的组合物。
12.用硅醇盐改性的淀粉在个人护理配制剂中的用途,其中所述硅醇盐改性的淀粉与化妆品可接受的载体组合使用,其中所述化妆品可接受的载体为水包油乳液、油包水乳液、无水组合物或含水量基于该组合物总重量为小于1%的基本无水的组合物。
