技术领域
本发明涉及一种与诸如一次性尿布的吸收性物品有关的按压设备以及按压方法。
背景技术
在如图1所示的诸如一次性尿布的吸收性物品的传统生产线中,以这种方式制造半成品2,使得通过使得纸浆纤维成形而形成的吸收体3、3……中的每一个均被纤维连续片6、4(诸如一对薄棉纸)从上方并且从下方覆盖。
然后,以一产品节距切割这种半成品2以用作一次性尿布(专利文献1)。

发明内容
【技术问题】
在这种半成品2的情况下,为了使得吸收体3与一对上和下纤维连续片6、4结合成一整体,将热熔粘合剂(未示出)涂敷在纤维连续片4的两个表面中的位于面向另一个纤维连续片6的侧部上的一个表面上。因此,使得吸收体和两个纤维连续片接合地结合成一体。在生产线中,为了增加一体化的程度或者为了减小半成品2的厚度,使得半成品2通过位于一对上和下压辊12、12之间的辊隙Gr并且当所述半成品2通过压辊12、12时其被夹持且按压在所述压辊12、12的外周表面12s、12s之间。
然而,当夹持并且按压半成品2时,存在一个风险,即,热熔粘合剂会通过位于纤维连续片6、4的纤维之间的空间渗漏到纤维连续片6、4的外表面,以致粘附到压辊12的外周表面12s,从而污染外周表面。因此,需要定期清理压辊12。
而且,当将这种粘合剂布置在压辊12的外周表面12s上时,由于粘合剂的粘合强度,因此纤维连续片6、4紧紧粘贴在压辊12的外周表面12s上。然后,在辊隙Gr的输出侧处没有快速地从外周表面12s上剥离这些粘贴的纤维连续片6、4的情况下,纤维连续片材6、4将被撕裂。因此。这将不可避免地使得生产线停工。

===实施例===
图2A和图2B是本实施例的按压设备10的说明性视图。图2A是按压设备10的示意性透视图,而图2B是按压设备10的示意性侧视图。注意,在图2B中没有示出半成品2的吸收体3。
在作为吸收性物品的示例的一次性尿布的生产线中使用这种按压设备10。在所述按压设备10中,例如沿着传送方向连续供应尿布的半成品2,并且按压设备10沿着厚度方向夹持并且按压这些半成品2并且将半成品2传送到下游处理。

按压设备10是这样的设备,所述设备沿着厚度方向按压并且夹持半成品2,以将半成品2的厚度缩减至预定厚度。将与夹持和按压产品有关的压缩负荷设定为例如每单位宽度35000(N/m)至140000(N/m)。在夹持以及按压期间,热熔粘合剂仍未成固体,即,仍然具有流动性。因此,通过夹持以及按压扩散热熔粘合剂并且将其均匀地涂抹在纤维连续片4、6的基本整个表面上,并且能够整体增加半成品2的连接强度。
将在下文详细描述按压设备10。在以下描述中,半成品2的传送方向也被称作“MD方向”。而且,在垂直于MD方向的方向中,半成品2的宽度方向(纤维连续片4、6的宽度方向)也称作“CD方向”。注意,CD方向指向例如沿着水平方向并且沿着垂直于图2B中的纸张表面的方向。
如图2A和图2B所示,按压设备10包括:一对上和下压辊12、12,驱动所述压辊12、12旋转,并且所述压辊的外周表面12s、12s相互面对;和加热机构,所述加热机构加热辊12、12中的每一个,使得外周表面12s、12s中的每一个的温度均保持在预定目标温度的范围内。然后,当半成品2沿着MD方向通过位于压辊12、12之间的辊隙Gr时,将半成品2夹持并且按压在这些外周表面12s、12s之间,与此同时将外周表面12s、12s中的每一个的温度保持在70℃至120℃之间的范围内,所述范围是其目标温度。
压辊12中的每一个均例如是平式辊,所述平式辊具有光滑的外周表面12s。未示出的支承构件分别将这些压辊12、12可旋转地支撑在旋转轴C12、C12周围,所述旋转轴C12、C12平行于CD方向。由未示出的作为驱动源的电动机通过诸如减速装置输入驱动扭矩,使得沿着MD方向驱动并且旋转压辊12中的每一个。压辊12中的每一个的圆周速率V12均结合半成品2的传送速率V2在100(m/min)至600(m/min)的范围内变化。更加具体地,按压设备10具有诸如计算机或者可编程逻辑控制器的速度控制部(未示出),并且通过这种速度控制部控制电动机的旋转。因此,压辊12中的每一个在与半成品2的传送速率V2保持同步的同时进行旋转,使得传送速率V2和圆周速率V12匹配。
在这个示例中,压辊12由S45C(在日本工业标准条件下)钢制成。然而,材料并不局限于此。例如,辊可以由诸如铝或铜的非铁金属制成。在辊具有适当耐热性或者导热性的情况下,辊可以由诸如树脂的非金属材料制成。
加热机构是用于抑制热熔粘合剂粘附到压辊12的外周表面12s上以及纤维连续片6、4粘贴到外周表面12s的装置。
更加具体地,在以上提及的待由上和下压辊12、12夹持并且按压的半成品2中,因为作为半成品2的上和下表面的上和下纤维连续片6、4是如上陈述的纤维片,所以当夹持并且按压半成品2时,存在这样的可能性,即,位于半成品2内部的热熔粘合剂通过位于纤维连续片6、4中的每一个的纤维之间的空间渗漏出到作为片6、4的外表面的上和下表面。然后,渗漏出的粘合剂粘附到压辊12、12的外周表面12s、12s并且污染表面。在某些情况中,渗漏出的粘合剂沉积在外周表面12s、12s上,并且由于沉积的粘合剂的接合作用而造成纤维连续片6、4粘贴到外周表面12s、12s并且被捕获。结果,纤维连续片6、4被撕裂。在这种情况中,需要使得生产线停工并且实施这样的恢复操作:诸如移除撕裂的纤维连续片6、4并且清理外周表面12s、12s。结果,这降低了生产率。因此,为了抑制热熔粘合剂粘附到压辊12的外周表面12s并且抑制纤维连续片6、4粘贴到外周表面,而且为了防止片6、4发生破损,加热压辊12中的每一个,并且将外周表面12s中的每一个的温度保持在70℃至120℃的范围内,所述范围是表面的目标温度。注意,稍后将描述之所以通过将温度保持在目标温度范围内抑制粘合剂接合以及纤维连续片6、4粘贴并且来防止片6、4发生破损的原因。
具有这种功能的加热机构包括:插入到压辊12内部中的加热元件22;温度传感器24,所述温度传感器24测量压辊12的外周表面12s的温度;和温度控制部(未示出),所述温度控制部根据由温度传感器24输出的温度信号来控制加热元件22的加热值。
向互相对应的压辊12中的每一个提供加热元件22、22和温度传感器24、24。在使得温度传感器24、24中的每一个分别与加热元件22、22中的每一个相关连的同时,温度控制部根据温度传感器24的温度信号控制对应加热元件22的加热值。即,提供上压辊12的温度传感器24的温度信号,以控制上压辊12中的加热元件22的温度,并且提供下压辊12的温度传感器24的温度信号以控制位于下压辊12中的加热元件22的温度。
加热元件22例如是电加热器并且根据供应的电力产生热量。通过温度控制部实施电力的供应和终止。例如,当来自温度传感器24的温度信号的指示值变为85℃或者更低的温度时,温度控制部向加热元件22提供电力,所述85℃或者更低的温度作为高于70℃的第一阈值,所述70℃是目标温度范围中的下限值。另一方面,当来自温度传感器24的温度信号的指示值变为105℃或者更高的温度时,终止电力供应,所述105℃或者更高的温度作为低于120℃且高于第一阈值的第二阈值,所述120℃是目标温度范围中的上限值。因此,能够实现将外周表面12s的温度永久保持在从70℃到120℃的范围内,所述范围处于以上提及的目标温度的范围中。注意,温度控制部例如是计算机或者可编程逻辑控制器并且通过允许包括在温度控制部中的处理器从存储器读出适当程序并且执行所述程序来实施上述控制行为。
确定插入加热元件22的位置,以便所述位置围绕旋转轴C12是对称的,使得压辊12的外周表面12s在整个圆周上均匀受热。在此,在压辊12中的每一个中,形成一个沿着旋转轴C12接收大体棍状的加热元件22的接收孔22h,使得孔22h的中心对应于旋转轴C12。然而,本发明并不局限于此。例如,多个接收孔中的每一个均可以形成在这样的位置中,所述位置与外周表面12s径向相距相等的距离并且沿着圆周方向等分压辊12的整个圆周,以将加热元件22接收在接收孔中的每一个中。
作为温度传感器24的示例,以这样的方式使用非接触型温度传感器:使得能够以与外周表面12s不接触的状态测量压辊12的外周表面12s的温度,所述外周表面12s是待测量其温度的对象。作为这种非接触型温度传感器的示例,设有辐射温度计等,所述辐射温度计根据待测量其温度的对象的辐射量来测量温度。尽管在此使用以上温度计,但是本发明并不局限于此。例如,可以使用接触型温度计。换言之,可以通过使得诸如热电偶的温度检测部与压辊12的外周表面12s滑动接触来测量外周表面12s的温度。
在此,将在下文描述之所以通过将外周表面12s的温度保持在如上提及的70℃至120℃的范围内抑制热熔粘合剂粘附到压辊12的外周表面12s并且抑制纤维连续片4(6)粘贴到外周表面12s而防止片4(6)发生破损的原因。
之前,将描述在以下解释中使用的术语的意义。“凝集”指的是粘合剂形成块。“凝集破坏”指的是例如因为拉动造成已经凝集并且形成块的粘合剂分离。“固定性能高”指的是例如因为粘合剂扩散到纤维连续片4(6)的纤维之间的空间而使得粘合剂变得难以离开纤维连续片4(6)。换言之,粘合剂被捕获在纤维连续片4(6)中并且易于保持。
将通过使用这些术语来描述以上原因。
首先,在纤维连续片4(6)已经抵达压辊12的辊隙Gr之时,热熔粘合剂的温度将下降至大约40℃至60℃。因此,就在抵达辊隙Gr之前,粘合剂基本处于凝集状态与此同时粘附到纤维连续片4(6)的纤维。
在此,当压辊12的外周表面12s的温度高于120℃时,外周表面12s的温度远高于粘合剂的温度。因此,当纤维连续片4(6)的粘合剂接触外周表面12s时,大量的热量从外周表面12s输入到粘合剂中。然后,由于这种大量输入的热量,纤维连续片4(6)的粘合剂立即变软并且熔化而且由于凝集破坏而粘附到压辊12的外周表面12s。结果,相对较早地将大量粘合剂沉积在外周表面12s上。
然后,纤维连续片4(6)经由沉积的粘合剂连接到外周表面12s。在此,如果连接强度远远弱于纤维连续片4(6)的拉伸强度,则纤维连续片4(6)由于由下游处理施加至位于辊隙Gr的输出侧处的纤维连续片4(6)的传送张力而顺利地脱离外周表面12s。因此,迅速将纤维连续片4(6)传送到下游处理而同时又没有发生撕裂。
然而,当外周表面12s的温度是诸如120℃或者以上提及的更高的温度的较高温度时,基于如上陈述的粘合剂的凝集破坏,大量粘合剂沉积在外周表面12s上。然后,由于大量沉积的粘合剂,粘合剂的粘合强度也同样增加。更加具体地,纤维连续片4(6)经由具有高连接强度的粘合剂粘贴到外周表面12s上。因此,即使传送张力作用在纤维连续片4(6)上,纤维连续片4(6)也保持固定在外周表面12s上而没有脱离外周表面12s。另一方面,在此,因为纤维连续片是多根纤维的集合,所以纤维连续片4(6)能够轻易地具有这样的部分:所述部分的强度弱于以上提及的连接强度。因此,最终,因为纤维连续片4(6)将从薄弱部分开始撕裂,因此,在粘贴到外周表面12s的同时压辊12将运走纤维连续片4(6)的一部分,并且所述纤维连续片4(6)的其余部分被传送到下游处理。即,纤维连续片4(6)发生破裂。
另一方面,在压辊12的外周表面12s的温度低于70℃时,输入到粘合剂中的热量在外周表面12s接触纤维连续片4(6)的粘合剂时变小,原因在于外周表面12s的温度相对较低。因此,因为粘合剂的软化和熔化的程度较低并且大体没有发生凝集破坏,所以抑制了由于凝集破坏而造成的粘合剂粘附到外周表面12s。
然而,当粘合剂被夹持并且按压在辊隙Gr处时,粘合剂处于凝集状态并且其流动性较低。因此,粘合剂被紧紧压缩粘附在外周表面12s上并且纤维连续片4(6)经由压缩粘附的粘合剂而紧紧粘贴到外周表面12s上。
因此,如在以上描述中那样,当尝试通过在辊隙Gr的输出侧的传送张力拉动粘贴到外周表面12s的纤维连续片4(6)脱离外周表面12s时,片可能从在纤维连续片4(6)中强度较弱的部分开始撕裂。
另一方面,在压辊12的外周表面12s的温度处于70℃至120℃的范围内的情况中,在外周表面12s接触纤维连续片4(6)的粘合剂的时候输入到粘合剂中的热量将基本是适当的量。由于这种输入的热量,粘合剂将具有适当的凝集性和流动性。因此,当纤维连续片4(6)的粘合剂接触外周表面12s时,不会发生显著的凝集破坏。因此,抑制了粘合剂粘附到外周表面12s。而且,因为粘合剂具有适当的流动性,因此在夹持并且按压时粘合剂迅速扩散到纤维连续片4(6)的没有内纤维的空间。这使得粘合剂更易于固定在纤维连续片4(6)上。即,粘合剂相对于纤维连续片4(6)的固定性能得到提高。这还有助于抑制粘合剂粘附到外周表面12s。另外,根据以上提及的适当的流动性,当夹持并且按压时粘合剂发生挠性变形。因此,也能够抑制粘合剂紧紧压缩接合到压辊12。
结果,能够有效避免纤维连续片4(6)紧紧地粘贴到外周表面12s。因此,由于作用在辊隙Gr的输出侧处的传送张力,纤维连续片4(6)顺利地与压辊12的外周表面12s脱离。因此,能够防止纤维连续片4(6)发生破裂。
为了确保这种效果,理想的是压辊12的外周表面12s的温度保持在80℃至110℃的范围内,所述范围比以上提及的70℃至120℃的范围窄。
在以上提及的示例中,因为作为半成品2的上和下表面的上和下连续片6、4是纤维片,所以当将半成品2夹持并且按压在上和下压辊12、12之间时存在这样的风险,即,其中的热熔粘合剂渗漏到半成品2的上和下表面中的每一个。因此,尽管加热上和下压辊12、12,使得所述上和下压辊12的两个外周表面12s、12s的温度在70℃至120℃之间,但是如果热熔粘合剂没有渗漏到半成品2的上和下表面中的一个,则仅仅可以加热定位在表面的粘合剂发生渗漏的侧部处的压辊12而不加热定位在表面的粘合剂没有发生渗漏的侧部处的另一个压辊12。
例如,在作为图2B中的上表面的连续片6是纤维片,而作为图2B中的下表面的连续片4是不能渗透流体的片(诸如薄膜)的情况中,热熔粘合剂没有从半成品2的下表面渗漏出。因此,在这种情况中,加热元件22和温度传感器24仅仅需要提供给上压辊12,而无需提供给下压辊12。
而且,在前述描述中,作为半成品2的一方面,举例说明了产品,在所述产品中,吸收体3插置在一对上和下纤维连续片6、4之间。然而,半成品2的方面并不局限于此。例如,还可以使用这样半成品,在所述半成品中,吸收体3没有插置在一对上和下纤维连续片6、4之间,并且第二纤维连续片和第一纤维连续片4相互接触并且在整个表面上连接。在这种情况中,一个片4(6)对应于权利要求中的“纤维连续片”,而另一个片6(4)对应于权利要求中的“待叠置的物品”。而且,片6、4的层数并不局限于两片,并且还可以使用三片或更多片。在本方面中,即,即使在没有插置吸收体3的情况中,如果作为上和下表面中的任意一个的连续片6(4)是纤维连续片,那么本发明也能够应用于此。因此,除了作为以上提及的表面中的一个的连续片6(4)之外的片4(6)无需是纤维片。
而且,如图3的透视图所示,还能够将半成品2a例示为半成品2的另一个方面2a,在所述方面2a中,仅仅作为是待叠置物品的多个吸收体3、3……粘合到纤维连续片4的表面中的一个。更加具体地,纤维连续片4仅仅提供在吸收体3的下表面侧上并且不必提供在上表面侧上。在这种情况中,在纤维连续片4中,选择性地将热熔粘合剂仅仅涂敷到放置有每个吸收体3的部分上。自然,没有放置吸收体的部分不涂敷粘合剂。例如,当纤维连续片4的宽度大于吸收体3的宽度时,并且纤维连续片4具有沿着宽度方向伸出在吸收体3的外侧的部分4a时,不将热熔粘合剂涂敷在伸出的部分4a上。而且,当没有沿着MD方向以条状形式连续布置吸收体3,而是如图4所示沿着MD方向以孤岛状间歇放置吸收体3时,也没有将热熔粘合剂涂敷在位于吸收体3、3之间的处于纤维连续片4中的部分4b上。
在具有所述方面的半成品2a中,如图3所示,仅仅为作为位于纤维连续片4的侧部上的辊的下压辊12提供了加热元件22和温度传感器24,不必为上压辊12提供加热元件22和温度传感器24。这是因为认为存在极小的可能性使得热熔粘合剂渗漏到吸收体3的上表面,原因在于吸收体3纤维的层压密度通常较高。然而,在假设的由于吸收体3的低层压密度等粘合剂渗漏到上表面的情况中,可以为上压辊12提供加热元件22和温度传感器24。
图4是按压设备10的修改的示例10a的示意性侧视图。
在上述实施例中,以这样的状态将半成品2供应到一对上和下压辊12、12,在所述状态中,第二纤维连续片6、吸收体3和第一纤维连续片4已经结合成一体并且叠置(图2A)。另一方面,在如图4所示的修改的示例中,放置有吸收体3的第一纤维连续片4和第二纤维连续片6分别以这样的状态供应到一对上和下压辊12、12,在所述状态中,每个片均设置成相互隔开。在位于压辊12、12之间的辊隙Gr处,这些连续片4、6叠置,以致连接并且结合成一体。

Claims (5)

1.一种与吸收性物品有关的按压设备,所述按压设备包括:
一对辊,所述辊被驱动旋转,并且所述辊的外周表面相互面对,当叠置有待被位于纤维连续片之间的热塑性粘合剂叠置的物品的所述纤维连续片沿着所述纤维连续片的连续方向通过所述一对辊之间的辊隙时,所述按压设备将所述待叠置的物品和所述纤维连续片夹持并且按压在所述外周表面之间,
所述热塑性粘合剂从粘合剂涂敷装置的喷嘴喷射并被涂敷;
所述热塑性粘合剂在已经抵达所述辊的辊隙时为凝集的状态;
所述按压设备还包括加热机构,所述加热机构加热所述一对辊中的定位在所述纤维连续片的侧部上的至少一个辊,所述加热机构具有接收在接收孔中的加热元件,该接收孔的中心对应于设置所述加热机构的辊的旋转轴且所述接收孔沿着该旋转轴形成,所述加热机构加热所述辊,以便将所述辊的所述外周表面的温度保持在70℃至120℃的范围内。
2.根据权利要求1所述的与吸收性物品有关的按压设备,其中,
所述外周表面的温度保持在80℃至110℃的范围。
3.根据权利要求1或者2所述的与吸收性物品有关的按压设备,其中,
所述热塑性粘合剂是热熔粘合剂,并且所述纤维连续片是薄棉纸。
4.根据权利要求1所述的与吸收性物品有关的按压设备,其中,
与吸收性物品有关的吸收体被沿着所述纤维连续片的所述连续方向间歇放置在所述纤维连续片上,
当所述纤维连续片是第一纤维连续片时,所述吸收体被第二纤维连续片所覆盖,由此将所述吸收体夹持在所述第二纤维连续片和所述第一纤维连续片之间,并且
所述加热机构加热所述一对辊的两个辊,并且从而将所述两个辊的外周表面的温度保持在70℃至120℃的范围内。
5.一种与吸收性物品有关的按压方法,其中,当叠置有待被位于纤维连续片之间的热塑性粘合剂叠置的物品的所述纤维连续片沿着所述纤维连续片的连续方向通过被驱动旋转并且外周表面互相面对的一对辊之间的辊隙时,将所述待叠置的物品和所述纤维连续片夹持并且按压在所述外周表面之间,所述方法包括:
至少加热所述一对辊中的定位在所述纤维连续片的侧部上的辊,以便将所述辊的外周表面的温度保持在70℃至120℃的范围内,
将通过所述辊隙的所述待叠置的物品和所述纤维连续片夹持并且按压在所述辊的外周表面之间,所述辊的外周表面的温度保持在所述范围内;
所述热塑性粘合剂从粘合剂涂敷装置的喷嘴喷射并被涂敷;
所述热塑性粘合剂在已经抵达所述辊的辊隙时为凝集的状态;
包括加热机构,所述加热机构加热所述一对辊中的定位在所述纤维连续片的侧部上的至少一个辊,所述加热机构具有接收在接收孔中的加热元件,该接收孔的中心对应于设置所述加热机构的辊的旋转轴且所述接收孔沿着该旋转轴形成。
