技术领域

背景技术
由于CATV系统中数字信号的出现，呈信号干扰形式的较差图像质量而发生客户抱怨的上升，信号干扰造成被称为“拼图(tiling)”等的现象。这种性质的抱怨导致在CATV系统中操作者必须派遣技术人员来解决问题。经常由技术人员报告说问题的起因是松弛的F型连接器接头。F型连接器接头可由于许多原因而松弛；有时，它们由于系统操作者的安装规则，即，禁止在屋里、在客户设备上使用扳手而不适当地紧固。其它时候，屋主会在技术人员离开之后重新定位设备并会不适当地固定F型连接器。此外，某些人声称F型连接器接头是由于振动和/或热和冷循环而松弛。
无论如何，不适当安装的连接器会导致较差的信号传递，这是因为沿装置之间的电气路径存在间断，从而导致射频(“RF”)信号的泄漏。这种泄漏可以呈信号溢出的形式，其中RF能量辐射到连接器/电缆结构以外。替代地，RF泄漏可以呈信号进入的形式，其中来自外部源的RF能量可进入连接器/电缆结构，从而引起导致不可接受的图像的信噪比问题。
F型连接器的许多当前状态依赖于F型阳连接器接口与F型阴连接器接口之间的紧密接触。如果为了某些原因，诸如在松弛的F型阳接头的情况下允许远离彼此地拉开连接器接口，则会产生接口“间隙”。这种间隙可以是如前所述的RF泄漏的位点。
为了克服这个问题，已提出许多方法，包括美国专利第7,114,990号(Bence等人)、第7,479,035号(Bence等人)、第6,716,062号(Palinkas等人)以及美国专利申请20080102696(Montena)。尽管这些方法不同程度地成功，但仍希望提供一种将在配合的各个阶段操作的功能性连接器接合部。

较佳实施例的详细描述
现在将具体参照本发明的目前较佳的实施例，这些实施例的例子在附图中示出。只要有可能，就在所有附图中都用相同的附图标记来表示相同或类似的部件。
参见图1，同轴电缆连接器20具有联接件30、本体60、环90、密封构件100、柱体110、抓持构件160和压缩环150。同轴电缆连接器20是轴向压缩型同轴电缆连接器，且本领域中已知同轴电缆连接器20至同轴电缆的连接。在图1中示出处于未附连、未压缩状态的同轴电缆连接器20。如下更详细所述，环90卡配到本体60上。随后，联接件30设置在本体60和环90上。然后，柱体110压配到本体60内。最后，内部设置有压缩环150的抓持构件160压配到本体60上，以完成同轴电缆连接器20。联接件30在本体60的前部内自由地绕柱体110转动。

转到图2，同轴电缆连接器20已如本领域中已知那样安装到同轴电缆180上。同轴电缆连接器20的联接件30已转动几圈，以与端子190、并特别是与端子190的螺纹192配合。指部76已开始与端子190配合，从而提供端子190和同轴电缆连接器20之间的机械和电气连通，确保在接地、屏蔽和图像质量方面可接受水平的RF性能。当同轴电缆连接器20的联接件30转动并拉到端子190上时，通道42的面向前的后表面46与环90配合，环90又与凹槽70的面向后的表面72配合，从而驱动本体60前进，因而指部76与端子190配合。
图3示出完全配合到端子190上的同轴电缆连接器20，其中端子190与本体60和电缆180物理和电气接触。联接件30已前进远至它可以位于端子190上。由于本体60与端子190接触，联接件30由于与本体60和联接件30配合的环90而不能再进一步转动。

在图7中示出同轴电缆连接器的又一替代的实施例20d。在同轴电缆连接器的该实施例20d中，多个指部76d附连于被压缩在本体60d和柱体110d之间的单独的元件80d联接件30d在其转动到与端子(未示出)配合时与环90d配合，该环又推压柱体110d、具有多个指部76d的元件80d和本体60d。

联接件230具有前端部232、后端部234以及在两个端部之间延伸的开口236。联接件230的开口236具有内表面238。内表面238包括六角形部240和通道242。通道242具有底面244和面向前的后表面246。联接件230可具有光滑的外表面248或六角形构造。联接件230较佳地由诸如黄铜的金属材料制成，并镀有诸如镍的导电又耐腐蚀的材料。联接件230可替代地由塑性材料制成。

螺纹构件370具有外六角形构造372，该构造具有与联接件230的六角形部240的滑动间隙配合。螺纹构件370的滑动间隙配合允许螺纹构件370嵌套在联接件230的六角形部240内，同时允许螺纹构件370在联接件230内作轴向运动。此外，这种嵌套关系允许内螺纹构件370通过转动联接件230来可转动地运动。

Claims (12)

1.一种用于将同轴电缆(180)的端部联接至端子(190)的同轴电缆连接器(20)，所述同轴电缆连接器(20)包括：
本体(60)，所述本体(60)包括后端部(64)、前端部(62)、外表面(68)和在所述本体(60)的所述后端部和所述前端部(62，64)之间延伸的内表面，所述外表面(68)具有凹槽(70)；靠近所述本体(60)的所述前端部设置的联接件(30)，所述联接件(30)具有前端部(32)和后端部(34)以及在所述前端部与所述后端部之间延伸的开口(36)，所述开口(36)具有内表面(38)以及在所述内表面(38)内的通道(42)，所述开口(36)接纳所述本体(60)的至少一部分；
其特征在于，
环(90)，所述环(90)设置在所述本体(60)内的所述凹槽(70)的至少一部分内以及所述联接件(30)内的所述通道(42)的至少一部分内并与这些部分相配合，其中，所述通道(42)具有面向前的后表面(46)且所述凹槽(70)具有面向后的表面(72)，其中所述环(90)具有前端(92)和后端(94)，且其中所述环(90)在所述面向前的后表面(46)处用所述环的所述后端(94)配合所述通道(42)，且用所述环的所述前端(92)配合所述凹槽(70)的所述面向后的表面(72)，

所述本体(60)的所述前端部(62)具有多个指部(76)，所述指部(76)径向向内偏置以与所述端子(190)的一部分配合，其中当所述同轴电缆连接器(20)的所述联接件(30)转动且被拉到所述端子(190)上时，所述通道(42)的所述面向前的后表面(46)与所述环(90)配合，所述环又与所述凹槽(70)的面向后的表面(72)配合，向前驱动所述本体(60)使得所述指部(76)配合所述端子(190)。
2.如权利要求1所述的同轴电缆连接器，其特征在于，还包括设置在所述联接件的所述开口内的螺纹构件，所述螺纹构件相对于所述联接件轴向可动并弹性地偏置抵靠所述本体的所述前端部，所述螺纹构件具有带螺纹的开口以与所述端子的对应螺纹部配合。
3.如权利要求2所述的同轴电缆连接器，其特征在于，还包括螺旋弹簧，所述螺旋弹簧设置在所述螺纹构件与所述本体的所述前端部之间以使所述螺纹构件朝向所述本体弹性地偏置。
4.如权利要求2所述的同轴电缆连接器，其特征在于，还包括弹性环，所述弹性环设置在所述螺纹构件与所述本体的所述前端部之间，以使所述螺纹构件朝向所述本体弹性地偏置。
5.如权利要求1所述的同轴电缆连接器，其特征在于，还包括设置在所述联接件和所述本体之间的密封构件。
6.如权利要求2所述的同轴电缆连接器，其特征在于，所述联接件的所述内表面与所述螺纹构件的外表面的至少一部分配合，所述联接件绕所述本体的转动致使所述螺纹构件转动。
7.如权利要求1所述的同轴电缆连接器，其特征在于，所述联接件的所述内表面具有与端子上的对应螺纹部配合的螺纹部。
8.如权利要求7所述的同轴电缆连接器，其特征在于，当与端子配合时所述联接件的转动将所述端子拉动到与所述本体物理和电气接触。
9.一种用于将同轴电缆的端部联接至端子的同轴电缆连接器，所述同轴电缆连接器包括：
本体，所述本体包括后端部、前端部和外表面，所述本体在所述本体的所述前端部处具有多个指部，且所述外表面具有凹槽和螺纹部；
靠近所述本体的所述前端部设置的联接件，所述联接件具有前端部和后端部以及在所述前端部与所述后端部之间延伸的开口，所述开口具有内表面以及在所述内表面内的螺纹部，所述螺纹部对应于所述本体的螺纹部，所述开口接纳所述本体的至少一部分；以及
弹性环，所述弹性环设置在所述联接件的所述开口内并与所述本体的所述前端部相邻，所述弹性环在附连于所述端子时密封所述联接件的所述前端部,
所述联接件的转动使所述本体相对于所述联接件作轴向向前运动，所述本体的所述指部使所述弹性环在所述前端部处压抵所述联接件的所述内表面，以密封所述开口。
10.如权利要求9所述的同轴电缆连接器，其特征在于，还包括设置在所述多个指部的至少一部分周围的圆形构件。
11.如权利要求9所述的同轴电缆连接器，其特征在于，所述螺纹部是左旋螺纹。
12.如权利要求9所述的同轴电缆连接器，其特征在于，所述多个指部在其前端部处与所述联接件的所述内表面配合。
