Abstract

本实用新型公开了一种同轴微电缆连接器,其包括一连接器本体及一转接头。该连接器本体的内部设有一倾斜面及一内螺纹;该转接头以同轴方式接纳一同轴微电缆,且具有第一管状端部,一外螺纹与连接器本体的内螺纹结合,及至少一对楔形组件形成在微电缆的外皮的周围边缘;当转接头锁入于连接器本体时,楔形组件受到压缩变形并卡住外皮,以及第一管状端部的锥形表面催迫同轴微电缆的编织导体与连接器本体的倾斜面紧密结合,使同轴微电缆具有足够的拉拔力。本实用新型无需焊接及压合就可使同轴微电缆与同轴微电缆连接器稳固接合。

Description

同轴微电缆连接器
技术领域:
本实用新型涉及一种同轴微电缆连接器,藉由螺纹机构使连接有同轴微电缆的转接头可简易的与连接器本体完成安装,并确保机构及信号传递的质量。
背景技术:
现有同轴微电缆连接器可用以机械与电气上连接一同轴微电缆于具有接口接头的电子器件,以使用在有线电视讯号传输以及数据传输线等。如图1所示,显示目前同轴微电缆连接技术的情况,此处所使用的″同轴微电缆”一词,意谓一种中心导体直径大于0.1mm而小于0.8mm的同轴电缆,例如RG179。先前技术中的同轴微电缆10包括一中心导体11、一绝缘体12包覆于中心导体周围、至少一层编织导体13包覆于绝缘体12周围,以及一外皮14包覆于编织导体13周围。一同轴微电缆连接器15包含一内部导体16,及一插销17可插入连接器15的轴向导槽内,直到插销17与内部导体16连结为止,而成为机械与电性的连接。插销17末端内部设有一圆柱形凹孔18。依据先前技术,该插销17焊接在剥除外皮14的中心导体11上。此种焊接方式,需要电力以及干净明亮的工作场所来进行接合作业。组合完成时,将一套管19配置在同轴微电缆的外皮14上,并藉由挤压工具将套管19压合,使同轴微电缆10与连接器15紧密接合。
所以,目前需要一种免焊接及压合的结构,使微电缆能与同轴微电缆连接器稳固接合。
实用新型内容:
本实用新型所要解决的技术问题是,针对现有技术的不足,提供一种无需焊接及压合就可使同轴微电缆与同轴微电缆连接器稳固接合的同轴微电缆连接器。
为解决上述技术问题,本实用新型所采用的技术方案是:一种同轴微电缆连接器,可用以机械与电气连接一同轴微电缆,该同轴微电缆具有一中心导体,一绝缘体包覆于该中心导体周围,至少一层编织导体包覆于该绝缘体周围,以及一外皮包覆于该编织导体周围,该连接器包括:一连接器本体,其内部具有一倾斜面、及一内螺纹位于连接器本体末端;及一转接头,以同轴方式接纳该同轴微电缆,具有一第一管状端部及一连接部,该第一管状端部的外壁具有可与连接器本体的倾斜面紧密结合的一锥形表面,该连接部具有可与连接器本体的内螺纹结合的外螺纹;当转接头完全锁入于连接器本体时,该锥形表面催迫编织导体与连接器本体的倾斜面成为紧密结合。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型的有益效果是:本实用新型利用连接器本体末端的内螺纹与转接头连接部的外螺纹使连接有同轴微电缆的转接头与连接器本体能稳固连结,同时本实用新型贴合在同轴微电缆的编织导体的外表面的倾斜面,可与转接头的锥形表面紧密结合,使微电缆具有足够的拉拔力;卡入于同轴微电缆外皮的楔形组件,进一步使同轴微电缆与转接头能稳固结合,这样就使本实用新型无需焊接及压合,就可使同轴微电缆与同轴微电缆连接器稳固接合,简化了工序,降低了生产成本。
下面将藉由下列的说明配合相关的附图,对本实用新型的构造、操作方式以及进一步的目的与优点进行介绍。

具体实施方式:
由图7A可知,目前一传统同轴微电缆10的末端可藉由刀具将外皮14剥开,使中心导体11、绝缘体12及编织导体13露出一部分长度。
如图2所示,本实用新型同轴微电缆连接器20包括一连接器本体21、及一转接头(Adapter)30。连接器本体21能被用于F型、BNC型、RCA型、IEC型等连接界面,本实用新型以BNC型连接器本体为例来做说明,如图3所示,连接器本体21的前端设有一扣件(Fastener),其内部设有一内部导体22,扣件可结合于电子器件上,让内部导体22与具有接口连接器的电子器件成为机械与电气上的结合。在连接器本体21的后端内部设有一倾斜面23及一内螺纹24。
如图4至图6所示,转接头30界定有一通孔31,其直径尺寸可接纳同轴微电缆10的末端,并使中心导体11、绝缘体12、编织导体13露出一部分,同轴微电缆10露出的部分长度系依照工业标准规定(如图7A)。紧接着将编织导体13的露出部分向后翻折且覆盖在转接头30的前端(如图7B)。
转接头30包括一第一管状端部38,一第二管状端部32,一连接部33设在第一管状端部38与第二管状端部32间,及至少一对楔形组件34。连接部33包含有一外螺纹35可用以接纳连接器本体21的内螺纹24,通过转接头30使连接器本体21与同轴微电缆10形成电性连接(如图7C)。连接部33的上、下端具有一平面36,在平面36上设有一方形开口37可安置一楔形组件34,且形成在同轴微电缆10的外皮14的周围边缘。楔形组件34、第一管状端部38与第二管状端部32一体成型。
第一管状端部38的外壁面为一锥形表面39可与连接器本体21的倾斜面23紧密结合,所以第一管状端部38的锥形表面39可催迫同轴微电缆10的编织导体13与连接器本体21的倾斜面23成为电气上的结合以保证可靠的电气连接。
楔形组件34的顶端设有一倾斜面40,当倾斜面40受到如图7C箭头″X″方向的施力而向中心移动,倾斜面40的移动将同时施力于同轴微电缆10的外皮14,所以,楔形组件34的内部末端41将被强迫与外皮14的外层表面紧紧卡合(如图7C)。
请参阅图7A至图7C所示,为同轴微电缆连接器20结合有同轴微电缆10的步骤示意图。首先,将经处理后的同轴微电缆10末端插入转接头30,使中心导体11、绝缘体12及编织导体13露出一部分长度,如图7A所示。
第二,将编织导体13翻折且覆盖在转接头30的第一管状端部38上,再将结合有同轴微电缆10的转接头30锁入于连接器本体21中,使转接头30的外螺纹35与连接器本体21的内螺纹24成为结合,如图7B所示。
在锁入期间,转接头30的楔形组件34受到径向的施力而卡住同轴微电缆10的外皮14,以避免同轴微电缆10自转接头30滑出。此时,转接头30乃被推入于连接器本体21内,在最终的结合位置,第一管状端部38的锥形表面39催迫同轴微电缆10的编织导体13与连接器本体21的倾斜面23结合,这样可使同轴微电缆10具有足够的拉拔力,此时,该中心导体11插入于内部导体22成为机械与电气上的连接,如图7C所示。
尽管本实用新型的特定实施例已详细图解说明,但是对于熟悉此项技术的人士而言,其它各种可轻易联想到的改变或修正皆不脱离本实用新型的精神与范围。

Claims (4)

1.一种同轴微电缆连接器,可用以机械与电气连接一同轴微电缆,该同轴微电缆具有一中心导体,一绝缘体包覆于该中心导体周围,至少一层编织导体包覆于该绝缘体周围,以及一外皮包覆于该编织导体周围,其特征在于该连接器包括:
一连接器本体,其内部具有一倾斜面、及一内螺纹位于连接器本体末端;及
一转接头,以同轴方式接纳该同轴微电缆,具有一第一管状端部及一连接部,该第一管状端部的外壁具有可与连接器本体的倾斜面紧密结合的一锥形表面,该连接部具有可与连接器本体的内螺纹结合的外螺纹;当转接头完全锁入于连接器本体时,该锥形表面催迫编织导体与连接器本体的倾斜面成为紧密结合。
2.如权利要求1所述的同轴微电缆连接器,其特征在于,该转接头更包含至少一对楔形组件安置在连接部上,且形成在同轴微电缆外皮的周围边缘;当转接头完全锁入于连接器本体时,该楔形组件受到压缩变形而卡住同轴微电缆的外皮。
3.如权利要求2所述的同轴微电缆连接器,其特征在于,该连接部的上、下端具有一平面,该平面设有可安置所述楔形组件的一方形开口。
4.如权利要求1所述的同轴微电缆连接器,其特征在于,该转接头更包含有一第二管状端部,使所述连接部位于第一管状端部与第二管状端部间。
