图1A示出根据本发明实施例的磁盘驱动器,其包括磁盘2,在磁盘2上致动的磁头4,磁头4包括读元件和写元件。磁盘驱动器进一步包括前置放大器6和互连件8(图1B),互连件8包括第一传输线路10A和第二传输线路10B,其将磁头4耦连到前置放大器6。图2A所示的补偿网络可操作用于补偿第一和第二传输线路中的阻抗不连续性,其中补偿网络包括与第一和第二传输线路10A和10B并联的第一迹线(trace)和第二迹线。补偿网络的第一和第二迹线的形状改变以形成至少第一电容器。
在图1A和1B的实施例中,磁头4通过悬浮装置16耦连到致动器臂14的远端,悬浮装置16向磁盘2的表面偏置磁头4。当磁盘2旋转时,在磁头4和磁盘表面之间形成空气轴承,使得磁头4“悬浮(fly)”在磁盘表面上。控制电路18在写操作过程中产生通过前置放大器6施加给磁头4的写入信号,并在读取操作中解调从磁头4发出通过前置放大器6的读取信号。控制电路18可以解调围绕磁盘2周边记录的嵌入的伺服扇区200-20N,以产生施加给音圈电机(VCM)24的VCM控制信号22,音圈电机24绕枢轴旋转致动器臂14以将磁头4径向设置在磁盘2上。
可以在本发明实施例中使用任何合适的磁头4,如包括感应式写元件和磁阻(MR)读元件的磁头4。写操作通过以下方式执行:调制从前置放大器6发出并通过传输线路10A和10B并通过感应式写元件的写电流以将磁转换写到磁盘表面上。在读操作过程中,读元件感测磁转换以产生读取信号,该读取信号由传输线路10A和10B承载至前置放大器6。根据本发明的不同实施例,写传输线路和读传输线路中的一个或两者都可以连接到补偿网络26。
图2A示出本发明的实施例,其中互连件的传输线路10A和10B利用柔性印制电路(FPC)27连接到前置放大器6。FPC27呈现图2A所示感应器/电容器网络表示的阻抗不连续性。为了补偿阻抗不连续性,包括电容器/感应器网络的补偿网络26与互连件的传输线路10A和10B并联。在图2A的实施例中,补偿网络26包括连接到第一传输线路10A的第一迹线28A,和连接到第二传输线路的第二迹线28B。

在图2B的实施例中,为了形成补偿网络26的电容器和感应器元件而变化的迹线28A和28B的形状是对称变化的迹线28A和28B的宽度。参考图2B,第一迹线28A包括第一段32A,且第二迹线28B包括第二段32B,二者形成图2A的感应器元件L。第一迹线28A进一步包括第三段34A和与第三段34A对称的第四段34B,二者形成图2A中的电容器元件C1。第二迹线28B进一步包括第五段36A和与第五段36A对称的第六段36B,其形成图2A的电容器元件C2。在图2B的实施例中,形成感应器元件的段宽度小于形成电容器元件的段宽度。
图2B所示的迹线28A和28B包括宽度变化的额外对称段以形成剩余的电容器元件C3和C4,二者形成图2A的补偿网络。在一个实施例中,制造迹线28A和28B以便补偿网络有助于消除带中读/写信号占据的电纳(导纳的虚部)而不实质影响信号传输。如果需要增加补偿网络26中电容器/感应器网络的数目,则可以将图2B的“T”网络级联。
图3A示出补偿网络26的替换实施例,其包括与终端荷载30串联的第一和第二电容器。也就是,补偿网络可能不需要感应器元件,如图2A中的实施例。在图3A中,由于第一电容器与终端负载30和第二电容器串联,因此在图3B所示的实施例中,第一和第二电容器可以组合到与终端负载30串联的单个电容器中。通过组合电容器C1和电容器C2,图2A的实施例也可以做类似改进,其中图2B中相应改进将是缩短C1或C2之间的间隙和增加剩余电容器元件的迹线宽度。在其他实施例中,补偿网络26可以包括一个或更多额外的电容器/感应器网络,如图3C的实施例中所示,与图2A的实施例相比,其包括一个额外的电容器/感应器网络。
补偿网络可以沿互连件路径的任何部分进行制造。在一个实施例中,可以在FPC上制造补偿网络26和/或可以与传输线路10A和10B一起制造补偿网络26。在又一实施例中,可以与磁头14一起制造所有或部分补偿网络26。

Claims (21)

1.一种磁盘驱动器,其包括:
磁盘;
在所述磁盘上被致动的磁头,所述磁头包括读元件和写元件;
前置放大器;以及
互连件,其包括耦连所述磁头到所述前置放大器的第一传输线路和第二传输线路,以及可操作用于补偿所述第一和第二传输线路中阻抗不连续性的补偿网络,所述补偿网络通过第一和第二迹线与所述第一和第二传输线路并联,其中所述补偿网络至少包括与终端负载串联的第一电容器。
2.根据权利要求1所述的磁盘驱动器,其中所述第一和第二迹线的形状变化以至少形成与所述终端负载串联的第二电容器。
3.根据权利要求1所述的磁盘驱动器,其中所述终端负载包括电阻器。
4.根据权利要求1所述的磁盘驱动器,其中所述终端负载的电阻基本与所述读元件和写元件之一的电阻匹配。
5.根据权利要求1所述的磁盘驱动器,其中所述补偿网络还至少包括与所述终端负载并联的第一感应器。
6.根据权利要求2所述的磁盘驱动器,其中所述形状包括所述第一和第二迹线的宽度。
7.根据权利要求1所述的磁盘驱动器,其中所述第一迹线堆叠在所述第二迹线上。
8.根据权利要求5所述的磁盘驱动器,其中:
所述第一迹线包括第一段;
所述第二迹线包括与所述第一段对称的第二段;
所述第一迹线包括第三段和与所述第三段对称的第四段;
所述第二迹线包括第五段和与所述第五段对称的第六段;
所述第一和第二段形成所述第一感应器;
所述第三和第四段形成所述第一电容器;以及
所述第五和第六段形成第二电容器。
9.根据权利要求8所述的磁盘驱动器,其中所述第一和第二段的宽度小于所述第三和第四段的宽度。
10.根据权利要求2所述的磁盘驱动器,其中所述补偿网络还包括第三和第四电容器。
11.一种用于磁盘驱动器的互连件,所述磁盘驱动器包括在磁盘上被致动的磁头,所述磁头包括读元件和写元件,所述互连件包括:
可操作地将磁头耦连到前置放大器的第一传输线路和第二传输线路;以及
补偿网络,其可操作地补偿所述第一和第二传输线路中的阻抗不连续性,所述补偿网络通过第一和第二迹线与所述第一和第二传输线路并联,其中所述补偿网络至少包括与终端负载串联的第一电容器。
12.根据权利要求11所述的互连件,其中所述第一和第二迹线的形状变化以至少形成与所述终端负载串联的第二电容器。
13.根据权利要求11所述的互连件,其中所述终端负载包括电阻器。
14.根据权利要求11所述的互连件,其中所述终端负载的电阻基本匹配所述读元件和所述写元件之一的电阻。
15.根据权利要求11所述的互连件,其中所述补偿网络还至少包括与所述终端负载并联的第一感应器。
16.根据权利要求12所述的互连件,其中所述形状包括所述第一和第二迹线的宽度。
17.根据权利要求11所述的互连件,其中所述第一迹线堆叠在所述第二迹线上。
18.根据权利要求15所述的互连件,其中:
所述第一迹线包括第一段;
所述第二迹线包括与所述第一段对称的第二段;
所述第一迹线包括第三段和与所述第三段对称的第四段;
所述第二迹线包括第五段和与所述第五段对称的第六段;
所述第一和第二段形成所述第一感应器;
所述第三和第四段形成所述第一电容器;以及
所述第五段和第六段形成第二电容器。
19.根据权利要求18所述的互连件,其中所述第一和第二段的宽度小于所述第三和第四段的宽度。
20.根据权利要求12所述的互连件,其中所述补偿网络还包括第三和第四电容器。
21.一种制造用于磁盘驱动器的互连件的方法,其中所述磁盘驱动器包括在磁盘上被致动的磁头,所述磁头包括读元件和写元件,所述方法包括:
制造可操作地将所述磁头耦连到前置放大器的第一传输线路和第二传输线路;以及
