Description
技术领域
本发明涉及香烟主流烟成分吸附剂以及含有该香烟主流烟成分吸附剂的香烟用过滤嘴。
背景技术
香烟所用烟叶丝中添加有用于调节香味(香味)的香料。这种香料中包含作为料液(ケ一シングソ一ス)的第1香料和作为表香(トツプフレ一バ一)的第2香料。第2香料成分的挥发性较高,且易受热分解。所以,在保存过程中,具有第2香料的香烟中的第2香料会散发出去,导致吸烟时香味减弱。此外,在具备用于吸附香烟主流烟成分的活性炭(charcoal)过滤嘴的香烟中,第2香料会转移、吸附在活性炭上,造成部分香味减弱。而吸附了第2香料后的活性炭,对香烟主流烟中的成分的除去能力降低。
日本专利第3744953号说明书中公开了一种香烟过滤嘴,其中包含了含有诸如活性炭这样的脱臭剂的胶囊。在熄灭香烟时,经外力破坏,上述胶囊开始在过滤嘴中释放出脱臭剂以除去烟臭。但是,在该香烟过滤嘴中,脱臭剂被密封在胶囊内,在吸烟后熄灭香烟时,胶囊才会因受到外力破坏而将脱臭剂释放到过滤嘴内,就这一点而言,在吸烟过程中,香烟中的脱臭剂无法发挥其功能。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种吸附剂以及香烟用过滤嘴,所述吸附剂在非吸烟时可以抑制香料的吸附、而在吸烟时可以吸附香烟主流烟成分。
根据本发明的第1方面,提供一种香烟主流烟成分吸附剂,其包含活性炭粒子和由上述活性炭粒子负载的葡聚糖膜。
另外,根据本发明的其他方面,提供含有本发明的香烟主流烟成分吸附剂的香烟用过滤嘴。

以下,适当参照附图对本发明进行更为详细的说明。在所有附图中,用相同的符号表示相同的要素,并省略重复的详细说明。
本发明的香烟主流烟成分吸附剂具有活性炭粒子和由活性炭粒子负载的葡聚糖膜。
对于本发明中使用的活性炭的来源没有特殊限制,可以使用以煤或椰壳等天然材料为原料,在高温下与气体及药品反应而制成的具有微孔(直径10~200埃)的球状、粉末状活性炭。活性炭粒子的平均粒径可以选用75~1000μm。按照BET法测定的活性炭的比表面积优选为800~2000m2/g,更优选1000~1200m2/g。
葡聚糖膜为水溶性的,可由例如支链淀粉(pullulan)、麦芽糊精、羟丙基纤维素等构成。为了使葡聚糖膜变得柔软,葡聚糖膜中可以含有明胶等蛋白质、卡拉胶(carrageenan)、结冷胶(gallan gum)、刺槐豆胶(loocust bean gum)、阿拉伯胶等胶质糖类、单糖、糖醇、纤维素衍生物、甘油、聚乙二醇等多元醇。这种膜软化剂的用量可以为葡聚糖重量的0.1%~3%。此外,为了遮蔽活性炭的黑色、提高吸附剂的美观,葡聚糖膜中可以含有除黑色着色材料以外的着色材料。作为这样的着色材料的实例,可以列举红木(annatto)色素等水溶性色素、碳酸钙等。使用足够量的着色材料将葡聚糖着色为该着色材料的颜色,例如,所用着色材料的含量比例可以为葡聚糖重量的0.1%~1%。
在一个实施方式中,本发明的香烟主流烟成分吸附剂不含香料(例如,活性炭粒子和葡聚糖膜中均不含香料)。
图1是本发明的一个实施方式中的香烟主流烟成分吸附剂10的放大概略剖面图。该吸附剂10中,葡聚糖膜(例如支链淀粉膜)14直接覆盖于活性炭粒子(载体)12的整个表面上。
葡聚糖膜14的厚度没有特殊制限定,但考虑到吸烟时葡聚糖膜的损坏性,优选使用相当于最终吸附剂重量的0.1%~10%的量的葡聚糖来形成葡聚糖膜14。
图1所示类型的吸附剂可由葡聚糖的水溶液或者水分散液等形成,且根据情况不同,所述葡聚糖中可含有膜软化剂和/或着色材料。例如,将活性炭粒子装入流动造粒干燥机中,边鼓入例如80℃以下的暖风,边将视情况不同而含有膜软化剂和/或着色材料的葡聚糖水溶液或者水分散液连续或间歇地喷雾至活性炭粒子的表面,再使其干燥。此时,根据葡聚糖水溶液或水分散液的组成不同,可进行迅速冷却。由此,在活性炭粒子的表面形成葡聚糖膜。
这里,并非将葡聚糖膜14依次浸入到活性炭粒子12的二次细孔、三次细孔中并堵塞这些细孔。其情况示于图2中。如图2所示,葡聚糖膜14覆盖活性炭12的整个表面,却未浸入二次细孔、三次细孔12a的内部。
本发明的香烟用过滤嘴中含有本发明的香烟主流烟成分吸附剂。
图3是本发明的一个实施方式中的具有香烟用过滤嘴的香烟(带过滤嘴的香烟)20的概略剖面图。带过滤嘴的香烟20具备由香烟卷纸222卷装烟丝等香烟填充材料221而得到的香烟22。香烟22与普通的香烟相同。香烟22的一端附设有过滤嘴24。过滤嘴24具备装有本发明的吸附剂的滤嘴部241(filter section),该滤嘴部241直接相连地设置于香烟22一端。在滤嘴部241的沿主流烟流动方向的下游侧端部,设置有普通滤嘴部242。
装有吸附剂的滤嘴部241是由过滤嘴卷装纸241b卷装分散有本发明的吸附剂粒子AAP的例如纤维素乙酸酯纤维241a而形成的,与在常规活性炭过滤嘴中使用本发明的吸附剂代替活性炭而得到的过滤嘴相同。
普通滤嘴部242可通过用过滤嘴卷装纸242b卷装例如纤维素乙酸酯纤维242a的丝束(トウ)而构成。普通滤嘴部242中实际上不含有吸附主流烟气体成分的吸附剂。
由滤嘴部241和滤嘴部242构成的过滤嘴24通过烟嘴纸26装于香烟22上。
图4是本发明的其他实施方式中的具有香烟用过滤嘴的香烟(带过滤嘴的香烟)30的概略剖面图。在带过滤嘴的香烟30中,通过烟嘴纸26装于香烟22上的过滤嘴32具备第1普通滤嘴部321和第2普通滤嘴部322,其中,第1普通滤嘴部321直接装在香烟22一端,且第1普通滤嘴部321与第2普通滤嘴部322之间空有间隔。过滤嘴32整体由过滤嘴卷装纸36卷装。第1普通滤嘴部321和第2普通滤嘴部322中分别含有例如纤维素乙酸酯纤维321a和322a的丝束。第1滤嘴部321和第2普通滤嘴部322之间的孔洞(空腔)34中,填充有本发明的吸附剂粒子AAP。
就本发明的带过滤嘴的香烟而言,在非吸烟时(保存中等),本发明的香烟主流烟成分吸附剂中的活性炭被高气密性的葡聚糖膜所包覆,因此可以抑制对香烟等中含有的香料的吸附。其结果,由于在吸烟前可释放到香烟中的香料成分的总量不会减少,因此在主流烟中能够以较高比例释放出香料。随后,例如在与重复进行吸烟动作时产生的香烟主流烟接触时,首先,葡聚糖膜的一部分会在香烟主流烟中的主要的高极性成分(水分等)的作用下发生溶解、剥离,从而使活性炭发挥出其固有的吸附功能,吸附香烟主流烟中的气体成分。
实施例
以下列举实施例对本发明进行说明,但本发明并不限定于这些实施例。
实施例1
配制5重量%浓度的支链淀粉水分散液。将15kg平均粒径250μm的活性炭(常规活性炭过滤嘴中使用的椰壳活性炭;比表面积:1000m2/g)加入到转动流动造粒干燥机(転動流動造粒乾燥機)(FREUND产业(株)制造的SFC-15型)中,使其在搅拌叶片转速约为200rpm的条件下旋转,并以1.0~2.0m/秒的流速鼓入70~80℃的暖风,从而形成了活性炭粒子的流化床。继续搅拌以维持流化床,同时以130~150g/分钟的速度向该流化床喷雾支链淀粉水分散液。由此,将共计15kg的支链淀粉水分散液喷雾至活性炭粒子表面并进行了干燥。随后,利用50~70℃的暖风对活性炭粒子进行了3~5分钟干燥,得到了14.7kg的所需吸附剂。针对所得吸附剂对涂布于活性炭表面的支链淀粉进行了定量,可知其具有4.5重量%的葡聚糖膜。
实施例2
配制5重量%浓度的支链淀粉水分散液。将与实施例1相同的椰壳活性炭5kg加入到流动造粒干燥机(大川原制作所制造的MGD-05型)中,使其在搅拌叶片转速约为20rpm的条件下旋转以辅助初期流动,同时以0.6m/秒的流速鼓入75℃的暖风,从而形成了活性炭粒子的流化床。以65g/分钟的速度向该流化床喷雾支链淀粉水分散液,喷雾1分钟,然后停止喷雾3分钟,并重复这样的间歇式喷雾,从而将共计2kg的支链淀粉水分散液喷雾至活性炭粒子表面并进行了干燥。随后,迅速将暖风温度降至室温,以0.4m/秒的流速流通来进行冷却,得到了所需的吸附剂。
实施例3
配制10重量%浓度的羟丙基甲基纤维素水分散液。将与实施例1相同的椰壳活性炭150g加入到流动造粒干燥机(大和科学公司制造的GB-22型)中,使其在搅拌叶片转速约为20rpm的条件下旋转,同时以0.6m/秒的流速鼓入80℃的暖风,从而形成了活性炭粒子的流化床。通过向该流化床连续喷雾羟丙基甲基纤维素水分散液,将共计15g的羟丙基甲基纤维素水分散液喷雾至活性炭粒子表面并进行了干燥。随后,迅速将暖风温度降至室温,以0.4m/秒的流速流通来进行冷却,得到了所需的吸附剂。
实施例4
配制支链淀粉5重量%浓度、明胶5重量%及羧甲基纤维素1重量%浓度的葡聚糖水分散液。将与实施例1相同的椰壳活性炭150g加入到转动流动造粒干燥机中,在底部旋转孔盘(底部回転目皿盤)的转速约为300rpm、造粒防止用搅拌叶片的转速约为320rpm的条件下旋转,并以0.6m/秒的流速鼓入75℃的暖风,从而形成了活性炭粒子的流化床。将上述葡聚糖水分散液的温度保持在50℃的同时将其连续喷雾至该流化床,从而将共计15g的葡聚糖水分散液喷雾至活性炭粒子表面并进行了干燥。随后,迅速将暖风温度降至室温,以0.4m/秒的流速流通来进行冷却,得到了所需的吸附剂。
实施例5
分别使用在实施例1~4中得到的吸附剂,按照通常制造活性炭过滤嘴的方法制作了装有吸附剂的纤维素乙酸酯过滤嘴。分别使用所得过滤嘴制作了图3所示的带过滤嘴的香烟。向装有吸附剂的滤嘴部241中添加的吸附剂的量为:每10mm长的过滤嘴最多添加80mg。对于各香烟而言,在保存过程中均未观察到烟叶的香气成分和第2香料的香气的显著减少。但是在抽吸这些香烟时,可以品味到具有活性炭过滤嘴的香烟所特有的温和(マイルド)的香味。
实施例6
(A)
将20mg实施例1中得到的吸附剂填充至玻璃管中。在25℃条件下,向该玻璃管内同时以240cc/分钟的流量流通里哪醇、以480cc/分钟的流量流通饱和水蒸汽、以及以80cc/分钟的流量流通氮气,流通4小时后,对吸附在吸附剂上的里哪醇进行了定量。
另外,使用在制造实施例1的吸附剂时使用的椰壳活性炭(比较例)代替实施例1中得到的吸附剂,同样进行了里哪醇的定量。
(B)
将20mg实施例1中得到的吸附剂填充至玻璃管中。为了使吸附剂切实地表现出吸附功能,在25℃条件下,向该玻璃管内流通了0.5小时饱和水蒸汽。然后,向该玻璃管内流通与上述(A)相同的里哪醇、饱和水蒸汽和氮气后,对吸附在吸附剂上的里哪醇进行了定量。
结果如图5所示。由图5所示的结果可知,在葡聚糖膜不溶解的条件下(上述(A)),吸附的里哪醇的量仅为普通活性炭的里哪醇吸附量的约10%,在葡聚糖膜溶解的条件下(上述(B)),吸附的里哪醇的量约为普通活性炭的里哪醇吸附量的90%。
实施例7
分别使用实施例1中得到的本发明的吸附剂48mg和实施例1中使用的普通椰壳活性炭40mg,按照通常制造活性炭过滤嘴的方法制作了装有吸附剂的纤维素乙酸酯过滤嘴。48mg本发明的吸附剂和40mg椰壳活性炭中所含的活性炭的量相等。
分别使用所得过滤嘴,制造图3所示的具有过滤嘴的香烟。在这些具有过滤嘴的香烟中,添加相对于烟丝为1.3重量%的薄荷醇。
将所得带有过滤嘴的香烟贮藏于22℃、相对湿度60%的气体氛围中。在开始贮藏后经过1天、7天、20天和57天后,使用自动吸烟器抽吸香烟,并按照常规方法对其主流烟中薄荷醇的量进行定量。结果如图6所示。图6中,线a对应于装有本发明的吸附剂的带过滤嘴香烟的结果,线b对应于装有普通椰壳活性炭的带过滤嘴香烟的结果。
由图6所示结果可知,与装有普通活性炭的带过滤嘴香烟相比,装有本发明的吸附剂的带过滤嘴香烟中主流烟中的薄荷醇的量,在保存7天后约增加46%,保存20天后约增加48%,保存57天后约增加46%。
Claims (5)
1.一种香烟主流烟成分吸附剂,其包含活性炭粒子和由上述活性炭粒子负载的葡聚糖膜。
2.根据权利要求1所述的香烟主流烟成分吸附剂,其中,所述葡聚糖膜包含支链淀粉。
3.根据权利要求1所述的香烟主流烟成分吸附剂,其中,所述葡聚糖膜含有除黑色着色材料以外的着色材料。
4.根据权利要求1所述的香烟主流烟成分吸附剂,其中,所述葡聚糖膜不含香料。
5.一种香烟用过滤嘴,其含有权利要求1所述的香烟主流烟成分吸附剂。
