Abstract
本发明提供一种透光性陶瓷,以由一般式:{La1-x(Sr1-a-bBaaCab)x}{(Al1-cGac)1-y(Ta1-dNbd)y}vOw(其中,满足0<x≤1、0<y≤0.6、0.4≤y/x≤0.6、0≤a≤1、0≤b≤1、0≤c≤1、0≤d≤1、及0.9≤v≤1.1的各条件,w是用于保持电中性的正数)表示的组成的钙钛矿型化合物为主要成分。该透光性陶瓷折射率高、且阿贝数高,有利于象差修正。适合用于例如在单镜头反光照相机用的光学系统的高斯型透镜光学系统(20)中以夹持光阑(28)的方式所配置的透镜(22、25)。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及作为透镜等光学零件的材料有用的透光性陶瓷及其制造方法、和应用该透光性陶瓷的光学零件及光学装置。
背景技术
一直以来,作为摄像类光学仪器等光学装置所搭载的透镜等光学零件的材料,如特许文献1及特许文献2所述那样,使用玻璃、塑料、或铌酸锂(LiNbO3)等单晶体。
玻璃及塑料由于其光透过率高且容易加工成所希望的形状,因此主要被应用于透镜等光学零件上。另一方面,LiNbO3等单晶体通过利用其电光学特性及双折射而主要被应用于光波导等光学零件上。使用了这种光学零件的光拾波器等光学装置,被要求进一步的小型化和薄型化。
但是,现有的玻璃及塑料中其折射率不足1.9,因此在使用了它们的光学零件和光学装置中,小型化和薄型化存在限度。另外,尤其塑料不仅有耐湿性差的缺点并且存在产生双折射的情况,因此,也具有难以使入射光高效良好地透过及聚光的缺点。
另一方面,LiNbO3等单晶体,其折射率比较高例如达到2.3。但是,LiNbO3等单晶体容易产生双折射,因此,难以应用在透镜等光学零件上,具有其用途被限制的缺点。
作为不产生双折射、且能够赋予优异的光学特性即线性透过率及折射率的材料,在特许文献3中公开了以Ba(Mg,Ta)O3系钙钛矿为主要成分的透光性陶瓷;另外,在特许文献4中公开了以Ba(Zn,Ta)O3系钙钛矿为主要成分的透光性陶瓷。
在特许文献3所述的透光性陶瓷中,折射率和阿贝数等光学特性能够通过用4价元素即Sn及/或Zr置换Mg及/或Ta的一部分而得到改变。
另外,特许文献4公示的透光性陶瓷,同样地也可以改变折射率和阿贝数。
但是,在特许文献3及特许文献4所述的透光性陶瓷中,存在阿贝数低使得作为光学零件及光学装置的用途被限制的问题。

发明内容
于是,本发明是鉴于上述实际情况而作成的,其目的在于,提供一种具有高阿贝数的透光性陶瓷及其制造方法。
另外,本发明的另一目的在于,提供一种应用上述透光性陶瓷而构成的光学零件及应用该光学零件的光学装置。
本发明的透光性陶瓷,以由一般式:
{La1-x(Sr1-a-bBaaCab)x}{(Al1-cGac)1-y(Ta1-dNbd)y}vOw(其中,满足0<x≤1、0<y≤0.6、0.4≤y/x≤0.6、0≤a≤1、0≤b≤1、0≤c≤1、0≤d≤1、及0.9≤v≤1.1的各条件,w是用于保持电中性的正数)表示的组成的钙钛矿型化合物为主要成分。
在本发明的透光性陶瓷中,优选进一步限定:y/x在0.45≤y/x≤0.55的范围,且v在0.95≤v≤1.02的范围,进一步,x在0.2≤x≤1的范围。
本发明的透光性陶瓷,作为优选,在可视光的波长为633nm且试样厚度为0.4mm的状态下的线性透过率(下面,只要没有特别说明,简单称为“线性透过率”)为20%以上。
另外,本发明的透光性陶瓷,其为多晶体时,发挥特别显著的效果。
本发明还提供一种透光性陶瓷的制造方法。其特征在于,本发明的透光性陶瓷的制造方法具备:准备将陶瓷原料粉末成形为规定的形状而形成的未烧结的陶瓷成形体的工序;准备与所述陶瓷原料粉末实质上相同组成的同时烧结用组合物的工序,和使同时烧结用组合物与未烧结的陶瓷成形体接触,且在氧浓度90体积%以上的环境中,对未烧结的陶瓷成形体进行烧结的工序。
在本发明的透光性陶瓷的制造方法中,优选同时烧结用组合物是粉末状态,烧结工序在将未烧结的陶瓷成形体埋入同时烧结用组合物的粉末的状态下被实施。
另外,本发明还提供一种由所述的透光性陶瓷构成的光学零件、及一种装载有该光学零件的光学装置。
根据本发明的透光性陶瓷,折射率大至2.01以上,由此,有利于透镜等光学零件的小型化。另外,根据本发明的透光性陶瓷,由于阿贝数非常大且为30以上,由此,在作为尤其涉及可视光的宽波长范围的摄像系光学仪器即例如照相机和摄像机这样的仪器的透镜材料使用时,在色差修正和球差修正中起作用。

具体实施方式
本发明的透光性陶瓷具有由ABO3表示的钙钛矿型结构,A格点元素和B格点元素和氧元素之摩尔比为近似于1∶1∶3的比值。具体而言,其是根据需要用(Sr、Ba、Ca){(Al、Ga)(Ta、Nb)}O3系钙钛矿化合物置换了LaAlO3系钙钛矿化合物后的化合物。(Sr、Ba、Ca){(Al、Ga)(Ta、Nb)}O3是(Al、Ga)和(Ta、Nb)以近似于1∶1摩尔比而构成的复合钙钛矿。
本发明的透光性陶瓷的组成式表示为{La1-x(Sr1-a-bBaaCab)x}{(A11-cGac)1-y(Ta1-dNbd)y}vOw(其中,满足0<x≤1、0<y≤0.6、0.4≤y/x≤0.6、0≤a≤1、0≤b≤1、0≤c≤1、0≤d≤1、及0.9≤v≤1.1的各条件,w是用于保持电中性的正数)。La、Sr、Ba及Ca主要占据钙钛矿结构的A格点,Al、Ga、Ta及Nb主要占据钙钛矿结构的B格点。但是,这些元素在为极少量的情况下在不损害本发明的目的的范围内,当然也可以存在于晶格外或存在于其它的格点。
另外,x表示A格点的置换量,y表示B格点的置换量,但是,它们为了保持钙钛矿型结构的电中性,必须y/x是近似于0.5的值。实际上,当y/x在0.4≤y/x≤0.6范围以外时,线性透过率不足20%,所以不作为优选。
同样地,v的值为了保持钙钛矿型结构而必须是近似于1的值。当v在0.9≤v≤1.1范围以外时,线性透过率不足20%,所以不作为优选。
另外,进一步限定:y/x在0.45≤y/x≤0.55范围内,且v在0.95≤v≤1.02范围内,并且当x在0.2≤x≤1范围内时,线性透过率达到50%以上,从而作为优选。
另外,本发明的透光性陶瓷,在不损害本发明的目的的范围内,也可以含有在制造时不可避免地混入的杂质。例如作为原料所使用的氧化物或在碳酸盐中含有的杂质和在制造过程中混入的杂质,可以列举出Fe2O3、B2O3、WO3、Bi2O3、Sb2O5、P2O5及CuO、和Y2O3等稀土类元素氧化物等。
下面,对制造本发明的透光性陶瓷的方法进行说明。
为了制造透光性陶瓷,准备将陶瓷原料粉末成形为规定形状而构成的未烧结的陶瓷成形体,并且准备与该陶瓷原料粉末实质上同样组成的同时烧结用组合物。接着,实施烧结工序,使同时烧结用组合物与未烧结的陶瓷成形体接触,并且在氧气浓度为90体积%以上的环境中对未烧结的陶瓷成形体进行烧结。
在上述的制造方法中,所谓同时烧结用组合物是指例如对调整为与所述陶瓷成形体相同组成的原料进行煅烧、粉碎而得到的粉末。利用该同时烧结用组合物,能够抑制上述陶瓷成形体中的挥发成分在烧结时的挥发。因此,烧结工序优选在未烧结的陶瓷成形体埋入同时烧结用组合物的粉末的状态下被实施。另外,同时烧结用组合物不局限于粉末,也可以是成形体或烧结体。
同时烧结用组合物优选和用于上述陶瓷成形体的陶瓷原料粉末具有相同的组成,但是,只要是实质上相同的组成即可。同时烧结用组合物和用于未烧结陶瓷成形体的陶瓷原料粉末是实质上相同组成,意味着是含有相同的构成元素的同等的组成系,也可以不是完全相同的组成比率。另外,同时烧结用组合物也可以不必具有能够赋予透光性的组成。
另外,烧结工序的压力当然为大气压力或其以下的压力。即,不必要是HIP(Hot Isostatic Press)等加压环境。
另外,本发明的透光性陶瓷可以用于透镜等光学零件,例如,可以应用于图1至图5分别所示的双凸透镜10、双凹透镜11、弯月透镜12、光程长调节板13及球状透镜14。
另外,关于安装了这样的光学零件的光学装置以光拾波器为例进行说明。
如图6所示,光拾波器9是对CD或微型盘等记录介质1照射相干光的激光8而由其反射光使已记录在记录介质1上的信息再生的光拾波器。
在这种光拾波器9中,设置有将来自作为光源的半导体激光器5的激光8转换成平行光的准直透镜4,在该平行光的光路上设置有半透明反射镜3。该半透明反射镜3使来自准直透镜4的入射光通过且使其直行前进,但是,对于来自记录介质1的反射光,使其行进方向介由反射而变更例如约90度。
另外,在光拾波器9中设置有用于使来自半透明反射镜3的入射光在记录介质1的记录面上聚光的物镜2。该物镜2还用于将来自记录介质1的反射光高效率地向半透明反射镜3传送。入射了反射光的半透明反射镜3,由于反射使其位相变化,从而可以变更上述反射光的行进方向。
另外,在光拾波器9中设置有用于将变更后的反射光聚光的聚光透镜6。而且,在反射光的聚光位置设置有用于使来自反射光的信息再生的受光元件7。
在这种结构的光拾波器9中,由于本发明的透光性陶瓷的线性透过率及F值高,因此能够有利地应用为例如物镜2、半透明反射镜3、准直透镜4及聚光镜6的各原材料。
另外,作为光学装置的其它例,对单镜头反光照相机用的光学系统进行说明。
如图7所示,作为单镜头反光照相机用光学系被广泛应用的高斯型透镜光学系统20由7个透镜21~27构成。尤其在相互夹着光阑28而配置的透镜22和透镜25中使用本发明的高阿贝数的透光性陶瓷时,能够高精度地进行象差修正。
下面,根据实验例说明本发明的透光性陶瓷。
[实验例1]
作为原料准备了各种高纯度的La(OH)3、BaCO3、SrCO3、CaCO3、Al2O3、Ta2O5及Nb2O5的各粉末。而且,为了得到由一般式:{La1-x(Sr1-a-bBaaCab)x}{(Al1-cGac)1-y(Ta1-dNbd)y}vOw(其中,w是用于保持电中性的正数))))表示的、表1及表2所示的各试样,称量各原料粉末,用球磨机进行20小时的湿式混合。将该混合物进行干燥之后,在1300℃煅烧3小时,得到煅烧粉体。煅烧后w的值大致为3。
另外,以下各表中,试料番号即试样编号,直线透过率即线性透过率,屈折率即折射率,アツベ数即阿贝数。

接着,将上述煅烧粉末体和水及有机粘合剂一起放入球磨机,进行16小时的湿式粉碎。作为有机粘合剂使用了乙基纤维素(ethylcellulose)。
接着,将上述粉碎物干燥后,通过50目的网(筛)进行粒化,将得到的粉末用196Mpa的压力挤压进行挤压成形,由此,得到直径30mm及厚度2mm的圆状板的未烧结的陶瓷成形体。
接着,将上述未烧结的陶瓷成形体埋入与其中含有的陶瓷原料粉末相同组成的粉末中。将该埋入后的成形体放入烧结炉,在大气环境中加热进行脱去粘合剂的处理。接着,一边升温一边向炉内注入氧气,在最高温度区域1600~1700℃,使烧结环境中的氧浓度上升至约98体积%。在此,关于最高温度,可以根据材料组成适当选择最适宜的温度,例如试样8的场合为1675℃。维持该烧结温度及氧浓度,将成形物进行20小时烧结而得到烧结体。另外,烧结时的全压设定为1个气压。
对这样得到的烧结体进行镜面加工,加工成厚度0.4mm的圆板状,从而制成透光性陶瓷的试样。
对上述的各个试样,测量在可视光区域更具体而言在波长为633nm状态下的线性透过率及折射率。在线性透过率的测量中采用岛津制作所制分光光度计(UV-2500)。在折射率的测量中,采用Metricon社制棱镜耦合器(MODEL2010)。
另外,利用棱镜耦合器测量405nm、532nm、830nm的折射率,应用这3个波长的折射率,通过波长和折射率的关系式即式1算出常数A、B及C,求出波长和折射率的关系。
式1:n=A/λ4+B/λ2+C(n是折射率、λ是波长、A、B及C是常数)
利用该式求出在计算阿贝数(γd)时需要的三波长(F线:486.13nm、d线:587.56nm、C线:656.27nm)的折射率,利用阿贝数的定义式即式2算出阿贝数。

(nd、nf、及nc分别是d线、F线及C线的折射率)
表3及表4表示以上所求得的线性透过率、折射率及阿贝数。

在利用表1及表2所示那样的满足0<x≤1、0<y≤0.6、0.4≤y/x≤0.6、0≤a≤1、0≤b≤1、0≤c≤1、0≤d≤1、及0.9≤v≤1.1的各条件的、本发明范围内的试样1~21、24~39、41~56、58~74及76~85的情况下,如表3及表4所示,折射率为2.01以上,阿贝数γd为30以上。另外,线性透过率为20%以上。
尤其,试样4~19、26~39、44~54、58~71及80~84还满足0.2≤x≤1、0.45<y≤0.55、0.95≤v≤1.02、0≤a≤0.1、0≤b≤0.1及0≤c≤0.5的各条件,因此能够得到线性透过率达到50%以上的高值。
与此相反,试样22、23、40、57及75,由于y/x在0.4~0.6的范围以外,或v在0.9~1.1范围以外,因此直线透过率不足20%。
[实验例2]
接着,对表1所示的试样8,测量了在λ=587.562nm(d线)时的TE模式及TM模的折射率nd,结果表明两者均是2.043,没有双折射产生。
以上,联系实验例对本发明进行了具体的说明,本发明的实施方式不局限于上述实验例的形态。例如,原料的形态不局限于氧化物或碳酸盐、氢氧化物,只要是在成为烧结体的阶段能够得到所希望的特性的原料,任何的形态都可以。另外,关于烧结的环境,上述所说的实验例的约98体积%的氧浓度值,是在使用的实验设备的条件下最优选的值。因此,也不局限于氧浓度约98体积%,只要能够确保90体积%以上的氧浓度,就能够得到具有所希望的特性的烧结体。
Claims (8)
1、一种透光性陶瓷,以由一般式:
{La1-x(Sr1-a-bBaaCab)x}{(Al1-cGac)1-y(Ta1-dNbd)y}vOw表示的组成的钙钛矿型化合物为主要成分,其中,满足0<x≤1、0<y≤0.6、0.4≤y/x≤0.6、0≤a≤1、0≤b≤1、0≤c≤1、0≤d≤1、及0.9≤v≤1.1的各条件,w是用于保持电中性的正数。
2、如权利要求1所述的透光性陶瓷,其中,所述y/x在0.45≤y/x≤0.55的范围,所述v在0.95≤v≤1.02的范围,且所述x在0.2≤x≤1的范围。
3、如权利要求1或2所述的透光性陶瓷,其中,在可视光的波长为633nm且试样厚度为0.4mm的状态下的线性透过率为20%以上。
4、如权利要求1或2所述的透光性陶瓷,所述透光性陶瓷为多晶体。
5、一种透光性陶瓷的制造方法,用于制造权利要求1或2所述的透光性陶瓷,
该制造方法具备:
准备将陶瓷原料粉末成形为规定的形状而形成的未烧结的陶瓷成形体的工序;
准备与所述陶瓷原料粉末实质上相同组成的同时烧结用组合物的工序,和
使所述同时烧结用组合物与所述未烧结的陶瓷成形体接触,且在氧浓度为90体积%以上的环境中,对所述未烧结的陶瓷成形体进行烧结的工序。
6、如权利要求5所述的透光性陶瓷的制造方法,其中,所述同时烧结用组合物是粉末状态,所述烧结工序在所述未烧结的陶瓷成形体埋入所述同时烧结用组合物的粉末的状态下被实施。
7、一种光学零件,其由权利要求1或2所述的透光性陶瓷构成。
8、一种光学装置,其安装有权利要求7所述的光学零件。
