固定式等速万向接头
技术领域
本发明关于一种在汽车和各种产业机械中用于动力传达的等速万向接头,更具体地说是关于一种包括8个滚球的固定式等速万向接头。
背景技术
等速万向接头分为沿轴方向不滑动的固定式和可滑动的滑动式。图8a及8b所示为作为固定式等速万向接头的代表例子的球笼型等速万向接头(以下称为BJ型)。该等速万向接头由在内球面11a上形成沿轴方向延伸的6条曲线状的引导沟11b的作为外侧接头构件的外圈11、在外球面12a上形成沿轴方向延伸的6条曲线状的引导沟12b的作为内侧接头构件的内圈12、在外圈11的引导沟11b和内圈12的引导沟12b之间配置的6个滚球13、用于保持滚球13的保持器14构成。
引导沟11b、12b的中心P、Q,对万向接头中心O,向轴方向的左右只偏移等距离(PO=QO)。即,外圈11的引导沟11b的中心P对内球面11a的球面中心O,只向外圈11的开口侧偏移距离PO。内圈12的引导沟12b的中心Q对外球面12a的球面中心O,只向外圈11的内侧偏移距离QO。外圈11的内球面11a及内圈12的外球面12a的球面中心与万向接头中心O一致。

在固定式等速万向接头中,当在形成动作角的状态下传送转矩时,滚球在保持器槽内沿圆周方向动作的同时也沿径向方向进行移动(参照图1)。在习知的6个滚球的固定式等速万向接头中,对保持器的壁厚进行最小限度的壁厚设定,满足当万向接头形成最大动作角时滚球沿径向方向移动的量,换言之,使滚球接触点收纳在保持器槽内。这是因为,如使保持器的壁厚增加,则外·内圈的引导沟深度变浅,仰角·高负载时的万向接头的耐久寿命下降。
在可实现更进一步的紧凑化、轻量化的包括8个扭矩传达滚球的固定式等速万向接头中,重要的是确保仰动作角时的强度与习知的6个滚球时的等速万向接头的相同。为了提高保持器的强度,可加大保持器的厚度,但随着保持器厚度的增加,外·内圈的引导沟深度变浅。如外·内圈的引导沟深度变浅,则在仰角时、高转矩负载时会产生滚球的接触椭圆的脱沟,导致耐久寿命下降。
发明内容
因此,本发明的目的是在8个滚球的固定式等速万向接头中,满足仰角时的保持器强度的确保和仰角·高负载时的耐久寿命的确保这两个重要机能。
本发明为了在具有8个滚球的固定式等速万向接头中,使仰角时的保持器强度和仰角·高负载时的耐久寿命,不低于习知的6个滚球的等速万向接头的水平,而追求保持器的最佳厚度。
即,如利用本发明的一实施例,固定式等速万向接头为包括在内球面形成沿轴方向伸展的8条曲线状的引导沟的外侧接头构件、在外球面形成沿轴方向伸展的8条曲线状的引导沟的内侧接头构件、在外侧接头构件的引导沟和内侧接头构件的引导沟之间所配置的8个滚球、介于外侧接头构件和内侧接头构件之间并保持滚球的保持器,其中外侧接头构件的引导沟的中心对内球面的球面中心,内侧接头构件的引导沟的中心对外球面的球面中心,分别沿轴方向朝相反侧只偏移等距离。其特征在于:当该固定式等速万向接头为BJ型接头时,当使保持器的壁厚为A,最大动作角时在保持器的槽中的滚球的径向方向移动量为B时,0.45≤B/A≤0.65的关系成立。
而且,如利用本发明的另一实施例,固定式等速万向接头为包括在内球面形成沿轴方向伸展的8条曲线状的引导沟的外侧接头构件、在外球面形成沿轴方向伸展的8条曲线状的引导沟的内侧接头构件、在外侧接头构件的引导沟和内侧接头构件的引导沟之间所配置的8个滚球、介于外侧接头构件和内侧接头构件之间并保持滚球的保持器,其中外侧接头构件的引导沟的中心对内球面的球面中心,内侧接头构件的引导沟的中心对外球面的球面中心,分别沿轴方向朝相反侧只偏移等距离,且保持器的外球面和内球面的球面中心沿轴方向朝相反侧只偏移等距离的固定式等速万向接头。其特征在于:在外侧接头构件及内侧接头构件的各引导沟中,设置具有直线状的沟底的直通部,当该固定式等速万向接头为UJ型接头时,当使保持器的壁厚为A,最大动作角时在保持器的槽中的滚球的径向方向移动量为B时,0.65≤B/A≤0.85的关系成立。
可使偏移量F、连结外侧接头构件的引导沟中心或内侧接头构件的引导沟中心与滚球的中心的线段的长度PCR的比(F/PCR)的值R1,在0.069≤R1≤0.121的范围内。
各引导沟和滚球的接触角α较佳在29°~40°的范围内。如使偏移量F减小,则外侧接头构件及内侧接头构件的引导沟间的楔形角的反转开始角度变小,在楔形角的反转时滚球容易在引导沟中游动,可能产生击打音。因此,为了将该楔形角反转开始角度设定为至少在车辆等的常用角以上,可将各引导沟和滚球的接触角设定为29°~40°。这里,所说的楔形角,是指滚球和外侧接头构件的引导沟的负载侧接触点的共通法线,与滚球和内侧接头构件的引导沟的负载侧接触点的共通法线所形成的角度。另外,车辆等中的常用角一般在9°以下。如万向接头的动作角变大,则楔形角越过0而处于负值侧。将该越过0而使楔形角的符号变化称作楔形角的反转。
偏移量F,连结外侧接头构件的引导沟中心或内侧接头构件的引导沟中心与滚球的中心的线段的长度PCR的比(F/PCR)值R1、接触角α、楔形反转开始角度的关系如下表所示。

由表1可知,接触角α越小,可使楔形角反转开始角度越大。而且,还可知偏移量F越大,可使楔形角反转开始角度越大。因此,由如上述的构成那样,将偏移量F、连结外侧接头构件的引导沟中心或内侧接头构件的引导沟中心与滚球的中心的线段的长度PCR的比(F/PCR)值R1,设定在0.069≤R1≤0.121的范围内,且使各引导沟和滚球的接触角α为29°~40°,从而可不使滚球的接触椭圆从引导沟部脱出而进到球面部上,且至少在车辆等的常用角以下的动作角中,使引导沟中的滚球不进行游动,不产生击打音。
利用本发明的固定式等速万向接头通过确保上述的保持器壁厚A,可具有不低于包括6个滚球的固定式等速万向接头的水平的耐久寿命、仰角强度,且达成更进一步的轻量·紧凑化。

首先,对图2a、2b及3所示的BJ型的实施形态进行说明。这里,图2a为固定式等速万向接头的纵断面图,图2b为横断面图。图3为图2a的要部放大图。
如图2a、2b及3所示,固定式等速万向接头以外圈1、内圈2、滚球3、保持器4为主要构成要素。作为外侧接头构件的外圈1呈杯状,在闭合的末端侧形成有用于连接应连结的二轴中的一个的轴部。外圈1具有球状的内周面即内球面1a,且在该内球面1a上形成有沿轴方向伸展的8条曲线状的引导沟1b。作为内侧接头构件的内圈2,具有用于连接应连结的二轴中的另一个(轴部5)的齿形部(锯齿或花键)2d。内圈2具有球状的外周面即外球面2a,且在该外球面2a上形成有沿轴方向伸展的8条曲线状的引导沟2b。外圈1的引导沟1b和内圈2的引导沟2b成对,且在由各对引导沟1b、2b所形成的滚球轨道上配置有1个滚球3。合计8个的滚球3,利用保持器4沿圆周方向被等距离保持。保持器4具有同心的外·内球面4a、4b,且外球面4a与外圈1的内球面1a进行球面接触,内球面4b与内圈2的外球面2a进行球面接触。

图4为图2b的要部放大图,表示外圈1、内圈2及滚球3的相互关系。在外圈1的内球面1a上所形成的引导沟1b其横断面为哥特式拱形,在内圈2的外球面2a上所形成的引导沟2b其横断面为哥特式拱形。因此,滚球3与外圈1的引导沟1b在2点C11、C12接触,与内圈2的引导沟2b在2点C21、C22接触。对通过滚球3的中心O3和万向接头中心O的线段的滚球3的中心O3与各引导沟1b、2b的接触点C11、C12、C21、C22所形成的角度α,为接触角。各接触点C11、C12、C21、C22的接触角α全都相等,被设定为29~40°。该29~40°的接触角α,与习知的6个滚球的切角式万向接头、6个滚球的固定式万向接头、8个滚球的固定式万向接头等中的37~45°相比,较小。通过将接触角α设定在29°以上,可抑制引导沟和滚球的接触面压力,得到不低于习知品的耐久性。
图5为用于说明关于楔形角的反转开始角度的,图3要部的更加放大的表示。将如前所述的,滚球3和外圈1的引导沟1b的接触点C1的共通法线H1,与滚球3和内圈2的引导沟2b的接触点C2的共通法线H2所形成的角度称作楔形角2τ。共通法线H1为连结外圈1和滚球3的接触点与滚球中心O3的三维直线。同样,共通法线H2为连结内圈2和滚球3的接触点与滚球中心O3的三维直线。如图5所示,外圈1的引导沟1b和滚球3的接触点C1,利用曲线状的引导沟1b,对通过滚球3的中心O3的万向接头中心面,只倾斜角度τ。而且,外圈2的引导沟2b和滚球3的接触点C2,利用曲线状的引导沟2b,对通过滚球3的中心O3的万向接头中心面,只倾斜角度τ。楔形角相当于这些角度τ的和2τ。楔形角2τ随着万向接头的动作角升高,在某一相位变小,亦即进行反转。该楔形角2τ的反转开始动作角,被设定在9°以上。
图6所示为UJ型的实施形态。该实施形态除了在外圈1的引导沟1b上设置直通部1c、在内圈2的引导沟2b上设置直通部2c,以及使保持器4的外球面4a和内球面4b的球面中心p,q沿轴方向只朝相反方向偏移等距离f以外,与上述图1a的实施形态没有什么不同。
下面,依据图1a及1b,在8个滚球的固定式等速万向接头中,将仰角时的保持器强度和仰角·高负载时的耐久寿命,与习知的6个滚球的固定式等速万向接头进行比较,并对用于达到相同以上水平的保持器壁厚的最佳值进行说明。图1a所示为图2a的万向接头取最大动作角θmax的状态。而且,在图的上侧所示的滚球由符号3a表示,该滚球3a的相位为在保持器内滚球最靠近保持器内径侧的相位。而且,在图的下侧所示的滚球由符号3b表示,该滚球3b的相位为在保持器内滚球最靠近保持器外径侧的相位。图1b为在保持器4的纵断面图上以双点划线附记上述滚球3a、3b的,并将以符号B表示的滚球3a和滚球3b的中心点间距离,定义为保持器4的槽4c内的滚球的径向方向移动量。保持器4的壁厚为槽4c的圆周方向壁面的半径方向尺寸,在图1b中以符号A表示。
如使保持器4的壁厚为A,最大动作角θmax时的万向接头转动一圈间的滚球3的径向方向移动量为B,则保持器4的壁厚A在BJ型中设定为0.45≤B/A≤0.65的范围,而且在UJ型中设定为0.65≤B/A≤0.85的范围。在BJ型和UJ型中保持器壁厚的最佳值范围之所以不同是因为,如有关图6所既述的,在UJ型中外内圈的引导沟1b、2b具有部分直通部1c、2c,所以与BJ型相比,引导沟在万向接头内侧变浅。
图7为对上述数值范围的意义的图解。另外,虽然图7中的数值是关于BJ型的,但关于UJ型也发现相同的倾向。图中所说的T100扭矩,为等速万向接头的寿命计算中所使用的基本扭矩,是指利用由外圈及内圈的引导沟和滚球的接触应力(赫兹的应力)所决定的扭矩值,在100rpm得到1500小时寿命的扭矩。如图7所示,当B/A<0.45时,换言之,对在保持器4的槽4c内的滚球3的径向方向移动量B,保持器壁厚A超出必要以上值时,虽然能够充分确保保持器4的强度,但内外圈的引导沟深度(内侧)变得过浅,在最大动作角时滚球3的接触椭圆从引导沟脱出,使负载扭矩极其低下,有可能损害万向接头的机能。另一方面,当B/A>0.65时,换言之,对在保持器4的槽4c内的滚球3的径向方向移动量B,保持器壁厚的宽余小时,能够确保内外圈的引导沟深度(内侧),所以即使在最大动作角时滚球3的接触椭圆也不会从引导沟脱出。但是,在这种情况下,保持器4的壁厚A变得过薄,不能确保仰角时的保持器强度。在UJ型的8个滚球万向接头中,也发现与BJ型相同的倾向。但是,如前所述,由于构造不同,所以数值范围也不同。
如上所述,为了能够满足仰角时的保持器强度和仰角时的万向接头耐久性这两个重要特性,需要进行保持器的最佳壁厚设定,其为上述的范围(在BJ型中为0.45≤B/A≤0.65,在UJ型中为0.65≤B/A≤0.85)。

Claims (6)

1.一种固定式等速万向接头,包括:
一外侧接头构件,在其内球面形成沿轴方向伸展的8条曲线状的引导沟、
一内侧接头构件,在其外球面形成沿轴方向伸展的8条曲线状的引导沟、
8个滚球,配置在外侧接头构件的引导沟和内侧接头构件的引导沟之间、
一保持器,介于外侧接头构件和内侧接头构件之间并保持滚球,
其中外侧接头构件的引导沟的中心对内球面的球面中心,内侧接头构件的引导沟的中心对外球面的球面中心,分别沿轴方向朝相反侧只偏移等距离(F);
其特征在于:
当该固定式等速万向接头为BJ型接头时,当使保持器的壁厚为A,最大动作角时在保持器的槽中的滚球的径向方向移动量为B时,0.45≤B/A≤0.65的关系成立。
2.一种固定式等速万向接头,包括:
一外侧接头构件,在其内球面形成沿轴方向伸展的8条曲线状的引导沟、
一内侧接头构件,在其外球面形成沿轴方向伸展的8条曲线状的引导沟、
8个滚球,配置在外侧接头构件的引导沟和内侧接头构件的引导沟之间、
一保持器,介于外侧接头构件和内侧接头构件之间并保持滚球,
其中外侧接头构件的引导沟的中心对内球面的球面中心,内侧接头构件的引导沟的中心对外球面的球面中心,分别沿轴方向朝相反侧只偏移等距离(F),且保持器的外球面和内球面的球面中心沿轴方向朝相反侧只偏移等距离(f);
其特征在于:
在外侧接头构件及内侧接头构件的各引导沟中,设置具有直线状的沟底的直通部,
当该固定式等速万向接头为UJ型接头时,当使保持器的壁厚为A,最大动作角时在保持器的槽中的滚球的径向方向移动量为B时,0.65≤B/A≤0.85的关系成立。
3.如权利要求1所述的固定式等速万向接头,其特征在于:偏移量(F)与、连结外侧接头构件的引导沟中心或内侧接头构件的引导沟中心与滚球的中心的线段的长度(PCR)的比(F/PCR)的值R1,在0.069≤R1≤0.121的范围内。
4.如权利要求2所述的固定式等速万向接头,其特征在于:偏移量(F)、连结外侧接头构件的引导沟中心或内侧接头构件的引导沟中心与滚球的中心的线段的长度(PCR)的比(F/PCR)的值R1,在0.069≤R1≤0.121的范围内。
5.如权利要求1所述的固定式等速万向接头,其特征在于:各引导沟和滚球的接触角在29°~40°的范围内。
6.如权利要求2所述的固定式等速万向接头,其特征在于:各引导沟和滚球的接触角在29°~40°的范围内。
