Description

Process for the preparation of Plienylglyciu. The present invention relates to a new process for the production of phenylglycine by using trichlorethylene and aniline in a single technical process by these two suspended bodies in water with an alkaline substance, e.g.
B. 1 @ alkmilcb, heated under pressure and at a temperature of about 1-10 to 1900 C until the whole amount used is converted into phen3-glycine salt .
This manufacturing process can be carried out without the use of alcohol as a solvent and without the individual intermediate products being separated off. Example The autoclave is heated in a finite stirrer

<tb> 280 <SEP> aniline causes the temperature to rise to approximately 180 ° C., and the mixture is left at this temperature with constant stirring for 2-1 hours. The excess aniline is distilled off. The residue persists from a mixture of calcium salt of phenylglycine, a Li;
Solution of C'alciunicliloi-id and unchanged lime. - You filter after you have cooled down. The small amount of the calcium salt of Plienylgl3-cin which remains in the mother liquor can be precipitated as an iron salt. The solid residue remaining on the filter is boiled with carbonate or caustic alkali in order to keep the alkali salt of plienylgycine in solution.
This reading is finally evaporated to dryness.
