In Formel (I) bedeuten
Beispiel I

Process for the preparation of compounds of the heterocyclic series It has been found that compounds of the formula
EMI1.1
Excellent as disperse dyes for dyeing, padding or printing fibers or fiber material made from fully or semi-synthetic hydrophobic, high molecular weight organic substances.
In formula (I) mean
R1 and RH independently of one another a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon radical and R2 a hydrogen atom or an aliphatic radical or R, and R: i together with the nitrogen atom bonded to them a cyclic radical optionally containing further heteroatoms, the radicals mentioned further, non-water-solubilizing substituents can carry.
Hydrocarbon radicals are understood to mean, in particular, aliphatic or cycloaliphatic radicals and phenyl radicals.
The aliphatic radicals on the molecule preferably contain 1 to 10, in particular 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 carbon atoms. They can be saturated or unsaturated and used as substituents, e.g. B. carry halogen atoms, especially chlorine or bromine atoms, hydroxyl, alkoxy, cyano, rhodan, phenyl, phenoxy, acyl, acyloxy or acylamino groups.
The phenyl nuclei as substituents on compounds of the formula (1) can in turn carry substituents again, e.g. B. halogen atoms, (chlorine or bromine atoms), alkyl, alkoxy, nitro, hydroxyl, acyl, acyloxy, or acylamino groups.
R.>, Rs and the nitrogen atom attached to them can also e.g. B. mean a morpholine, picolin-1, pyridine or pyrazolone radical and in turn, z. B. be substituted by the above atoms or groups of atoms.
As non-water-solubilizing acyl groups f come z. B. the radicals of the formula R-X- or R'-Y in consideration, wonn
R is a hydrocarbon radical, preferably an alkyl or phenyl radical, which contains heteroatoms and can carry the above-mentioned substituents,
X is a radical of the formula -O-CO- or iSO-,
R 'is a hydrogen atom or R,
Y is a radical of the formula -CO-, -NR "-CO- or NR'WSO.
and
R "represents a hydrogen atom or R.
The alkyl or alkoxy radicals preferably contain 1, 2, 3 or 4 carbon atoms and, like the aliphatic radicals, can be substituted.
The new compounds of the formula (I) are obtained by condensing one mole of a sulfochloride of the formula
EMI2.1
with one mole of an amine of the formula
EMI2.2
in an aqueous alkaline medium, and further condensation of the sulfonamide obtained with one mole of an amine of the formula R1-NH- (IV) in a weakly acidic aqueous medium.
The reaction in an aqueous alkaline medium usually takes place at temperatures between about 0 and 50 ° C., preferably between 0 and 20 ° C., temperatures between about 25 and 150 ° C., in particular between 80 and 120 ° C., are favorable for the reaction in a weakly acidic medium.
In an alkaline medium the carboxylic acid anhydride ring is opened with salt binding and the reaction with the amines can therefore only take place at the -SO2Cl- group. The alkalinity of the medium must therefore be so strong that the anhydride ring is split, which can be achieved with moderately concentrated alkali hydroxides or ammonia solution.
The sulfochloride compound is preferably isolated from the solution in chlorosulfonic acid by carefully pouring it onto ice or ice water, in which the sulfochloride precipitates as an insoluble substance and can be used as an aqueous paste after suction and acid-free washing.
The processing of the dyes of the formula (1) to dye preparations is carried out in a generally known manner, for. B. by grinding in the presence of dispersants and / or fillers. With the preparations, optionally dried in a vacuum or by atomization, one can. after adding more or less water, dye, pad or print in a so-called long or short liquor.
The dyes are extremely well absorbed from aqueous suspension on textile material made of fully synthetic or semi-synthetic, hydrophobic, high molecular weight organic substances. They are particularly suitable for dyeing or printing textile material made from linear, aromatic polyesters, and from cellulose 2 '/ 2-acetate, cellulose triacetate and synthetic polyamides.
You can dye or print according to known, z. B. that in French Patent No.
1 445 371 described procedure.
The dyeings or prints obtained, brilliant green, tinged yellow nuances, have very good all-round fastness properties; the fastness to light, fastness to gas fume, ozone, lubricants, solvents and seawater, fastness to washing, fastness to heat and pleating, and reduction are to be emphasized - and hydrolysis resistance and the wool reserve.
In the following example, parts are parts by weight and percentages are percentages by weight. The temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
Example I.
12 parts of naphthoylenebenzimidazole-11,12-dicarboxylic anhydride are introduced into 140 parts of well-stirred chlorosulfonic acid in the course of 15 minutes. Then 2 parts of thionyl chloride are added, the reaction mixture is heated to 80 ° C. and kept at this temperature for 10 hours.
After cooling, the mixture is carefully poured onto 1000 parts of an ice-water mixture, the precipitate is filtered off after 10 minutes and the mineral acid is washed out with ice water.
The paste obtained in this way is quickly introduced into 180 parts of sodium hydroxide solution (5 / o), with ice cooling, and 5 parts of 3-methoxypropylamine are immediately added to the mixture. After stirring for 15 hours at 200, the mixture is filtered and the filtrate is acidified vigorously with hydrochloric acid.
The precipitated dye is filtered off, washed with water and briefly boiled in 300 parts of hydrochloric acid (0.1 O / o), filtered off again and washed neutral with water. After drying at 1200, a finely crystalline orange-yellow powder is obtained, of which 7.7 parts in 100 parts of water are mixed with 6 parts of methoxyethylamine and 2 parts of glacial acetic acid and heated to 100 "for 16 hours with thorough stirring.
After cooling, the precipitate is filtered off, washed neutral with water, briefly boiled with soda solution (10 / o), filtered off again and washed with water.
A loose, yellow powder is obtained, the practically pure compound 6- (3'-methoxypropyl) -aminosulfonylnaphthoylenebenzimidazo-1 1,1 2-dicarboxylic acid- (2'-methoxyethyl) -imide.
