Device for supporting and central resetting of coupling head and coupling arm in central buffer couplings The invention relates to a device for supporting and central resetting of coupling head and coupling arm automatic central buffer couplings after horizontal and / or vertical deflection in rail vehicles.
For the proper function of self-acting central buffer couplings, it is necessary to fix the coupling head in the ready position with sufficient accuracy in relation to the vehicle horizontally and vertically. In doing so, certain forces must not be exceeded in order to move the coupling head in the vertical and horizontal planes.
Are known supports in the manner of a spring legs that is articulated between a console below the driving tool frame and the coupling head. In vehicles with a short overhang, the installation of such devices is impossible or involves significant changes to the vehicle itself. Other known supports use lever systems in the manner of four-bar chains that compensate for the vertical torque from the coupling head and coupling arm, rotating around the joint of the coupling arm, via spring elements. Serving as elastic means -this screws - or torsion bar springs. Even for these heavy and complex supports, there are usually installation difficulties due to a lack of space.
In the case of supports with leaf springs, centering is difficult and the damping of the spring leaves is undesirable.
According to the invention, these disadvantages of the known devices for supporting and central provision of the coupling head and coupling arm of self-acting central buffer couplings are to be avoided.
The purpose is to create a space-saving and simple construction of low weight, which can be manufactured inexpensively and which satisfies the vorerwähn th conditions of support and center reset perfectly. According to the invention, the device consists of two levers with a common joint, which are tensioned against one another via one or more springs and whose free lever ends are on the one hand on the coupling head or coupling arm and:
on the other hand, are rotatably mounted on part of the spring device displaceable under tension and pressure or on the vehicle chassis. In this way, the weight of the mass of the coupling head and coupling arm, rotating around the joint of the coupling arm, is kept in equilibrium via the two levers, and a force in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the coupling arm, turned away from the Ge joint, can be exerted. The usual tension springs between the coupling bolt and the spring clip can be omitted.
Conveniently, the free end of the back wärtigen lever can be widened and is supported by three or more rolling elements arranged in recesses on the lever and from the support frame. The rolling elements can be balls or pairs of bolts mounted in grooves offset by 90. This is intended to bring about a return of the coupling head in the event of deflections in the vertical and horizontal directions.
According to a preferred embodiment of the device, the bearing block can be fastened to the housing of the pulling and pushing device in such a way that it moves in the same way when the coupling head is displaced in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. As a result, changes in the angle of the levers to each other are kept within small limits and the spring is relieved.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown schematically.
Fig. 1 shows the support device in a longitudinal view, Fig. 2 is the plan of the free end of the rear lever, Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment of the free end of the rear lever in cross section, and Fig. 4 is the plan of Fig. 3.
In the undercarriage, not shown, of a rail vehicle, the automatic central buffer coupling with coupling head 1 and spring system 2 is installed. The vertical rotation of the coupling head 1 with the cast coupling arm 1a takes place around the point 3. The coupling head 1 is fixed in its horizontal position by a support which consists of the two levers 4 and 5, which are provided by a spring 6 are mutually braced.
The two levers 4 and 5 have a common Ge joint 7; the lever 4 supports with its free end 4a the somewhat recessed coupling arm la, while the lever 5 with its widened end over the balls 14 and 14a - tilting depending on the position of the coupling head in the horizontal or vertical plane - on a bearing block 13 on the spring housing or underframe of the vehicle. In order to save space, the lever 5 is advantageously not arranged parallel to the coupling arm.
The end of the lever 5 lies approximately vertically below the pivot point 3 and, if possible, in its immediate vicinity. As a result, the change in angle of the levers 4 and 5 around the joint 7 during the maximum vertical displacement of the coupling head is kept within small limits. The order of the bearing block 13 on the housing of the spring device working on tension and compression is so far advantageous as when moving .des Kupperlkopfes. 1, the coupling arm 1 a and the spring device 2 in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, the two levers themselves do not experience any change in angle to one another.
This has a favorable effect on the dimensions and the stress on the spring 6. The support designed in this way is very short and low, so that even with existing vehicles with a short overhang, changes are not necessary or can be kept within very low limits.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, instead of the balls 14 and 14a, two bolts 15, which are offset from one another by 90, are arranged in grooves at the end of the lever 5 and the bearing block 13 as intermediate members. Since in each case about half the surface area is effective as a support surface, they serve in the same way as the balls as restoring elements when the dome head is deflected in the vertical and hori zontal direction.
