Stamping device The present patent relates to a stamping device comprising a frame intended to be fixed on the table of a press, a die removably fixed on this frame, a punch mounted removably and in a sliding manner. in a sleeve itself capable of sliding in the frame, coaxially with the punch, means resiliently returning the punch to a determined position relative to the sleeve,
means resiliently rapping the assembly formed by the punch and the sleeve in a determined position relative to the frame, and finally means for guiding the sliding members.
Stamping devices of this type presently on the market are not designed so as to allow rapid change of the punch and die.
The device according to the present invention, which aims to remedy this drawback, is characterized by the fact that the return position of the punch relative to the sleeve is determined by a cap loosely fixed to the upper end of the sleeve, while the return position of the punch-sleeve assembly is determined by a removable stopper passing through the frame and also ensuring the guiding of the sleeve.
The drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a general view, in elevation, of the device; fig. 2 is a partial view in axial vertical section; fig. 3 is a view from above of FIG. 2.
The device shown comprises a frame formed by a base 11 and a bracket 12. The base 11 is intended to be fixed and centered on the table 13 of a press which can be seen in FIG. 1, the youngster 14, by pins 15 and 16.
The punch 17 of the device is mounted so as to be able to slide vertically in a sleeve 18 mounted in the same way in the head of the bracket 12.
At its upper part, the punch 17 slides in the sleeve 18 by means of a sleeve 19 to which it is fixed by a chisel clip 20.
The rest position of the punch 17 and the ring furnace 18 is fixed by a threaded cap 21 screwed onto the threaded upper end of the sleeve 18 and by a return spring 22 formed by a stack of Belleville washers housed between the punch 17, the sleeve 18 and the sleeve 19.
The rest position of the movable assembly comprising the punch 17 and the sleeve 18 is fixed by a screw, stop 23 horizontally crossing the head of the bracket 16 and engaging in a groove 24 of the sleeve, and by two springs 25 housed in blind holes of the stem and whose action, directed upwards, is transmitted to said assembly by two diametrically opposed pins 26 bearing against the lower edge of the cap 21.
At the base of the sleeve 18 is fixed by a clip 27 a blanking press 28 which ensures, on the one hand, the maintenance of the strip 29 to be cut and, on the other hand, the guiding of the punch 17 during the work of this latest. This sidewall press is itself guided, during its movement, by a key 30 passing through the head of the bracket under the screw 23, and held in place by a screw 31.
The removable die 32 of the device is housed in the base 15. It communicates through an opening 33 of the latter with a ramp 34 on which the stamped parts fall. Its angular position is fixed by a key 35 provided by a screw 36.
The operation of this device is conventional; the youngster 14, during its movement of ashes, first of all pulls all the mobile crew, that is to say the whole 17-18-19-20-21-22-26-28, towards the down, until the moment when the sidewall press 38 reaches the upper face of the strip 29, this movement taking place against the action of the springs 25. Then the punch 17 continues to descend on its own. producing the stamping of the strip 29. The cut piece falls through the opening 33. When this operation is completed, the punch first rises alone under the action of the spring 22 which was compressed during the stamping, then with the rest of the mobile unit which returns to its initial position under the action of the springs 25.
To remove and dismantle the mobile assembly, it suffices to unscrew the cap 21 and the stop 23 and release the clips 20 and 27. As for the die 32, it can be removed from its seat without further ado.
These easy-to-perform operations allow punch and die changes to be completed in minimum time.
It will also be noted that the construction of the device and in particular that of its frame allows it to be used equally well for stamping shaped parts or round parts. Without further ado, a blank press 28 and a die 32 without a guide groove can be used for the latter case by removing the keys 30 and 35 and the screws 31 and 36.
