Piece of watchmaking. The present invention relates to a timepiece comprising a watch arranged in a case forming a cabinet, and which is characterized by elastic members provided to hold the watch in place in said cabinet.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a sectional elevation of the cabinet, the watch being separated from the latter. Fig. 2 represents the same object, the watch being in place in the cabinet.
Figs. 3 and 4 represent, in a similar way, the second embodiment of the object of the invention. In these figures, the similar members are designated by the same reference signs and the different parts are shown only insofar as the understanding of the invention requires. In one of the embodiments shown, the cabinet, which can be constituted by the reservoir of a pyrophoric lighter, is signed by 1 (fig. 1 and 2). It is pierced right through with a circular window 2 having a groove 4 in which is placed a spring formed of a split ring.
This spring can be easily put in place by tightening it slightly so as to be able to see it reach into the groove which will serve as its housing. The diameter of the split ring is a little smaller than the diameter of the groove, but still larger than the diameter of the window 2.
The case 6 of the watch has a groove 7 of the same depth and the same width as that of the case 1 of the lighter. By pushing the housing 6 into the window 2 in the direction of the arrow 3, it enters the spring 5 which it forces to open slightly. This spring then occupies the whole of the space reserved for it in the groove 4. When the case 6 of the watch is in place in the lighter (fig. 2), the groove 7 is in the same plane as said 4. and the spring 5 closes and is now caught partly in the groove 4 of the lighter housing, partly in the groove 7 of the watch case which is thereby held in place, but which can be easily removed .
In a second embodiment (fig. 3 and 4), the window of the housing 1 of the lighter has two parts 2 and 2 'of different diameters. The case 6 of the watch is provided with three hooks 9 making a spring and arranged 120 from each other. When this box 6 is pushed into part 2 of the window (direction of arrow 3), the nozzles 10 of the hooks 9 engage on the shoulder 8 created by the difference in the diameters of the parts 2 and 2 ' window so that the watch is held in place.
