Dispositif obturateur pour tubes souples contenant un produit pâteux
La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif obturateur pour tubes souples contenant un produit pâteux, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un embout, destiné à être vissé sur le nez du tube, et présentant un conduit débouchant sur sa face latérale, et un fourreau monté à coulissement sur cet embout, des moyens élastiques disposés entre ledit embout et ledit fourreau tendant à maintenir ce dernier dans une position éloignée du tube pour laquelle une partie du fourreau recouvre l'orifice dudit conduit, le fourreau présentant une ouverture susceptible d'être amenée en regard dudit orifice à la suite d'une pression exercée sur le fourreau pour le déplacer en direction du tube contre l'action desdits moyens élastiques, pour permettre l'écoulement du produit.
Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du dispositif objet de l'invention.

Le dispositif représenté comprend un embout 1 pourvu d'un raccord fileté 2 par le moyen duquel il est vissé sur le nez fileté d'un tube souple 3, en lieu et place du bouchon de forme conventionnelle de ce dernier. Cet embout est percé d'un conduit coudé 4 qui débouche sur sa face latérale cylindrique.
Sur l'embout 1 est monté à coulissement un fourreau constitué par un capuchon 5 qu'un ressort hélicoïdal 6 disposé axialement entre l'embout et le capuchon tend à maintenir dans une position éloignée du tube pour laquelle la paroi 7 du capuchon recouvre l'orifice du conduit 4 (position de fermeture du dispositif représentée à la fig. 1). Une vis 8, solidaire du capuchon, coopérant avec une rainure 9 pratiquée dans l'embout 1, limite le déplacement vers la droite du capuchon et empêche toute rotation de ce dernier par rapport à l'embout.
Le capuchon 5 présente, en outre, une ouverture 11 susceptible d'être amenée en regard de l'orifice du conduit 4 à la suite d'une pression axiale exercée sur le capuchon avec une force suffisante pour le déplacer en direction du tube contre l'action du ressort 6. Dans cette position d'ouverture du dispositif représentée à la fig. 2, le produit peut s'écouler par le conduit 4. Si l'on relâche la pression sur le capuchon, le dispositif revient automatiquement à sa position fermée sous l'action du ressort 6 et le boudin de produit pâteux est tranché par le capuchon au ras de l'orifice du conduit 4 et tombe généralement librement.
I1 est à remarquer que le capuchon 5, qui sera de préférence exécuté, ainsi que l'em bout 1, en matière plastique, présente une face terminale 12 concave destinée à faciliter l'exercice, à l'aide du pouce, de la pression nécessaire à l'ouverture du dispositif. Une jupe 13 du capuchon 5, disposée de manière à entourer l'extrémité avant du tube, empêche l'introduction de corps étrangers entre le capuchon et la collerette du tube et améliore l'aspect général du tube muni du dispositif.
On notera aussi que l'ouverture 11 du capuchon se trouve sur une face 14 de ce dernier radialement en retrait par rapport à la jupe 13, de telle sorte que cette face ne peut venir facilement en contact avec la surface d'appui sur laquelle est disposé le tube.
Le dispositif représenté, de construction simple, ne comprend aucune pièce mobile susceptible d'être égarée et assure automatiquement la fermeture du tube après l'emploi.
Dans des variantes, il pourrait bien entendu être constitué en vue de son montage sur d'autres récipients que les tubes souples de forme conventionnelle.

The device shown comprises a nozzle 1 provided with a threaded connector 2 by means of which it is screwed onto the threaded nose of a flexible tube 3, in place of the plug of conventional shape of the latter. This end piece is pierced with an elbow duct 4 which opens onto its cylindrical lateral face.
On the end piece 1 is slidably mounted a sheath consisting of a cap 5 that a helical spring 6 disposed axially between the end piece and the cap tends to maintain in a position remote from the tube for which the wall 7 of the cap covers the orifice of the duct 4 (closed position of the device shown in FIG. 1). A screw 8, integral with the cap, cooperating with a groove 9 formed in the end piece 1, limits the movement to the right of the cap and prevents any rotation of the latter relative to the end piece.
The cap 5 also has an opening 11 capable of being brought opposite the orifice of the duct 4 as a result of an axial pressure exerted on the cap with a force sufficient to move it in the direction of the tube against the tube. action of the spring 6. In this open position of the device shown in FIG. 2, the product can flow through pipe 4. If the pressure on the cap is released, the device automatically returns to its closed position under the action of the spring 6 and the strand of pasty product is cut by the cap flush with the orifice of duct 4 and generally falls freely.
It should be noted that the cap 5, which will preferably be made, as well as the end 1, of plastic material, has a concave end face 12 intended to facilitate the exercise, using the thumb, of the pressure. necessary for opening the device. A skirt 13 of the cap 5, arranged so as to surround the front end of the tube, prevents the introduction of foreign bodies between the cap and the collar of the tube and improves the general appearance of the tube provided with the device.
It will also be noted that the opening 11 of the cap is located on a face 14 of the latter radially set back relative to the skirt 13, so that this face cannot easily come into contact with the bearing surface on which is arranged the tube.
The device shown, of simple construction, does not include any moving part liable to be lost and automatically closes the tube after use.
In variants, it could of course be formed with a view to mounting it on containers other than flexible tubes of conventional shape.
