Une forme d'exécution de cette machine permet d'affûter symétriquement, par rapport à leur axe et, successivement, les deux faces en dépouille , à l'angle convenable, dudit fo ret, afin d'obtenir que ses deux lèvres coupantes soient de même longueur et forment entre elles un angle de pointe normal, lesdits angles de dépouille . et de pointe étant prédéterminés.
Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemple; une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'inventiôn. La fig. 1 est une vue de face de la ma chine, sans moteur.
La fig. <I>II</I> est une vue en coupe du mandrin, à une échelle agrandie. Sur la partie extérieure de la paroi constituant ledit logement est ajusté le nez 41, de façon à pouvoir tourner à volonté afin d'entraîner en rotation ladite pince serrant le foret. Le tirant 38 porte à son extrémité un bouton 27 sollicité par un ressort comprimé 39 agissant entre ledit bouton et l'extrémité d'un tube 54 solidaire du manchon-écrou 42. Ce manchon-écrou peut coulisser, guidé par une clavette 43, dans une douille 44 susceptible de tourner dans le collier 24, mais maintenue axialement fixe, dans le collier 24 par sa rai nure circulaire 47 et des billes 45 à -ressort 46 prises dans le collier 24.
Dans ladite douille 44, deux trous 48, diamétralement opposés, et un piston 49 assurent le mandrin dans des positions distantes de 1800. Le piston est muni d'une manette 50 et il est sollicité par un res sort 51 guidé dans un pivot 52 vissé à demeure dans le collier 24.
L'indice 55 désigne une vis tubulaire solidaire, par une goupille 56, d'un bouton gradué 57, ledit bouton gradué étant maintenu axialement fixe du fait qu'il présente une rainure circulaire dans laquelle prennent appui, des billes 58, soumises à l'action d'un res sort 59 pris dans la douille 44.
