  Instrument pour     enseigner    la lecture de l'heure aux enfants    La présente invention a pour objet un ins  trument pour enseigner la lecture de l'heure aux  enfants. Cet instrument est caractérisé par le  fait qu'il comprend une boîte de montre enfer  mant une platine sur laquelle est montée     rota-          tivement    une chaussée portant une aiguille de  minutes, entourée d'une roue à canon portant  une aiguille d'heures, une minuterie reliant la  dite chaussée à ladite roue à canon de manière  que les aiguilles soient dépendantes l'une de  l'autre et tournent à des vitesses différentes,  dans un rapport de 1 à 12, l'instrument com  prenant en outre un cadran en regard duquel  se déplacent les aiguilles actionnées manuelle  ment par une couronne de commande.

      Le dessin annexé représente, à titre  d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de  l'invention.  



  La     fig.    1 est une vue en plan de l'instru  ment.  



  La     fig.    2 est une vue en plan d'une partie  du mécanisme de l'instrument, et  la     fig.    3 est une coupe suivant la ligne<I>111-</I>  <I>1I1</I> de la     fig.    2, à échelle agrandie.  L'instrument représenté comprend une  boîte 1 de montre dans laquelle est logée une  platine formée de trois planches 2, 3 et 4 posées  les unes sur les autres. La planche 4 porte un    cadran 5 fixé par des vis 6. Ce     cadran    présente  un tour d'heures 7 et un tour de     minutes    8  dont la graduation est croissante entre 12 et  6 heures et décroissante entre 6 et 12 heures.  Les chiffres de cette partie décroissante de la  graduation du tour de minutes sont, en outre,  précédés du signe moins.  



  La graduation du tour d'heures 7 pourrait  être complétée des     chiffres    13 et 24 situés  à l'intérieur des chiffres 1 à 12 et respective  ment sous ceux-ci, soit le 13 sous le 1 et le 24  finissant sous le 12. La graduation du tour de  minutes 8 porterait les chiffres de 0 à 60  dans le sens normal de la marche des     aiguilles     de la montre. Ces graduations permettraient  d'apprendre à lire l'heure selon la méthode ap  pliquée aux horaires de chemin de fer.  



  La planche 3 de la platine porte un     touril-          lon    9, situé en son centre, sur lequel est montée       rotativement    une chaussée 10 portant une ai  guille de minutes 11. Une roue à canon 12  portant une aiguille d'heures 13 est montée       rotativement    sur la chaussée 10, une friction  étant assurée par une rondelle élastique 14  prenant appui d'une part sur la face inférieure  du cadran 5 et d'autre part sur la roue à canon.  Une minuterie 15, montée     rotativement    sur un  tourillon 16 fixé à la planche 3, relie la chaus  sée à la roue à canon de manière que les  deux aiguilles 13 et 11 soient dépendantes l'une      de l'autre et tournent à des vitesses différentes,  dans un rapport de 1 à 12.

    



  La rotation des aiguilles est assurée ma  nuellement par une couronne 17 portée par une  tige 18 pivotée entre les planches- 2 et 4 de la  platine, et qui     porte,    à son autre     extrémité,    un  pignon 19 en prise avec un renvoi 20. monté     ro-          tativement    sur un tourillon 21     fixé    à la planche  3. L'axe du tourillon 21 est perpendiculaire à  celui de la tige 18. Ce renvoi 20 engrène avec  la minuterie 15. Le cadran 5 et les aiguilles 11  et 13 sont recouverts par un verre 22 ajusté       dans    la boîte 1.  



  L'instrument décrit est destiné à être mis  entre les mains des enfants à qui on enseigne  la lecture de l'heure. L'enfant lira l'heure après       avoir    placé les aiguilles dans une position de  son     choix    ou au contraire placera les aiguilles  d'après l'heure qui lui aura été indiquée. L'en  seignement collectif pourra se faire au moyen  d'un nombre d'instruments correspondant au  nombre des     enfants,    et de préférence à l'aide  d'une pendule factice dont le maître déplacera  les aiguilles à volonté.

  Fig. 2 is a plan view of part of the mechanism of the instrument, and FIG. 3 is a section taken along the line <I> 111- </I> <I> 1I1 </I> of FIG. 2, on a larger scale. The instrument shown comprises a watch case 1 in which is housed a plate formed of three boards 2, 3 and 4 placed one on top of the other. Plate 4 carries a dial 5 fixed by screws 6. This dial has an hour circle 7 and a minute circle 8 whose graduation increases between 12 and 6 hours and decreases between 6 and 12 hours. The figures of this decreasing part of the graduation of the minute turn are also preceded by a minus sign.



  The graduation of the hour circle 7 could be completed with the numbers 13 and 24 located inside the numbers 1 to 12 and respectively below them, that is to say the 13 under the 1 and the 24 ending under the 12. The graduation of the 8 minute turn would bring the digits from 0 to 60 in the normal direction of clockwise motion. These graduations would make it possible to learn to tell the time according to the method applied to railway timetables.



  Plate 3 of the plate carries a journal 9, located in its center, on which is rotatably mounted a carriageway 10 carrying a minute hand 11. A cannon wheel 12 carrying an hour hand 13 is rotatably mounted on it. the roadway 10, a friction being ensured by an elastic washer 14 bearing on the one hand on the underside of the dial 5 and on the other hand on the barrel wheel. A timer 15, rotatably mounted on a journal 16 fixed to the plate 3, connects the driveway to the cannon wheel so that the two needles 13 and 11 are dependent on each other and rotate at different speeds, in a ratio of 1 to 12.

    



  The rotation of the hands is ensured ma nualement by a crown 17 carried by a rod 18 pivoted between the plates 2 and 4 of the plate, and which carries, at its other end, a pinion 19 engaged with a reference 20. mounted on the plate. - Tatively on a journal 21 fixed to the plate 3. The child will read the time after having placed the hands in a position of his choice or on the contrary will place the hands according to the time indicated to him. The collective teaching can be done by means of a number of instruments corresponding to the number of children, and preferably with the help of a dummy clock whose hands will be moved by the master at will.
