Music piece The present invention relates to a music piece, comprising a cylinder lined with spikes cooperating with vibrating sound tabs, and comprising a device for stopping and triggering the spike cylinder, consisting, on the one hand , by a single-piece control lever capable of occupying a playing position, a stop position and a position for triggering the movement of the musical piece, but resiliently biased towards the game island position and, of on the other hand, by a stop pin integral with the movement cylinder,
stud whose trajectory interferes with that of an arm of said lever whose main plane of oscillation is perpendicular to the circle described by said stud, this lever being arranged so as to be able to be moved towards the triggering position of the musical movement, at at the user's discretion.
This musical piece is characterized by the fact that an end part of the control lever, placed on the path of said stop pin, which is carried by a movement wheel integral with the cylinder, has a groove including an elbow protrusion is applied, when the wheel rotates, to the face of this wheel by the action of elastic means, the arrangement of this step relative to the outer contour of said wheel being such that when the stop pin meets the end part of the control lever after a rotation of a determined angle, the step is brought to cross this outer contour on which it engages under.
the action of said elastic means, which causes the engagement of the control lever in the stop position, and by the fact that said control lever has a member intended to interfere with the trajectory of the speed regulator when this engagement to stop this regulator.
The. The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention. Fig. 1 is a plan view. Fig. 1a shows a detail placed in a position other than in FIG. 1. FIG. 2 is a sectional view taken along the line 11-11 of FIG. 1.
In the example shown, the frame 1 of the musical piece is provided with a barrel 2 containing a motor spring whose torque is transmitted, by a toothed crown 3, to a pin 4 integral with a large wheel toothed 5 to which is fixed a cylinder 6 provided with pin 7, the axis A of this cylinder rotating in two bearings of which only one, 8, is visible in the drawing.
The large toothed wheel 5 meshes with a mobile gear 9 meshing with a pinion 10 whose axis carries a helical toothed wheel 11 driving a speed regulator 12 with vanes, the axis of which is maintained in the correct position by a bearing 13, mounted on a double-angled piece 14.
The frame 1 carries, on a fixed plate 15, a pivot screw 16 on the smooth cylindrical bearing surface of which is mounted a control lever 17 which bears on the plate 15 by a boss 18. This lever presents to its arm the longer an end part 19 and a step 20 whose projecting elbow 20 'is applied to one side of the large wheel 5 during the operation of the music piece (fig. la). A return spring 21 is hooked by one end to the bent part 14 and by its other end to a hook 22 of the lever 17.
This return spring 21 acts on the lever 17 obliquely with respect to the plane of rotation of the wheel 5 which has, on its face in contact with said lever, a diverter pin 23 intended to meet the end part 19 of the lever. 17 at the end of the piece of music played by the gou pilles 7 actuating the sound tabs 24 of a keyboard. A hook 22 of the lever 17 is extended by a beak 25 capable of being placed in the path of the fins of the speed regulator 12.
To allow the movement to start and the piece of music to play, the user exerts pressure on the end 17a of the lever 17 in the direction of the arrow Fh and then releases this lever. The step 20 which was engaged on the outer contour of the wheel 5, as shown in FIG. 1 in solid lines, then comes to rest on the face of this wheel which carries the stud 23 after the latter, released, has come into position 23 '.
This step occupies the position 20 'in FIG. la. The cylinder 6 rotates in the direction of the arrow F2 and, when the piece is completed, the pin 23 meets the extreme part 19 causing a slight tilting of the lever 17 in the direction of the arrow F3, tilting allowed by boss 18.
Under the joint action of the stud 23 and the spring 21, the step 20 of the lever 17 then crosses the outer contour of the wheel 5 and engages thereon, as seen in the position of FIG. 1 in solid line. This produces a movement of the lever 17 in the direction of the arrow F4, under the action of the spring 21, so that the beak 25 comes into place on the path of the fins of the regulator 12 and stops the latter. At the same time, the lever 17, against the end of which the pin 23 abuts, prevents the wheel 5 and with it the cylinder 6 from continuing to rotate.
