Description

Automatic winder for a clockwork movement The object of the present invention is an automatic winder for a clockwork movement, comprising a mass oscillating about an axis and secured to a coaxial pinion. This winder is characterized by a rocker mounted to rotate around said axis and carrying a single reference, which constantly meshes with said pinion and can mesh, according to the movements of the rocker, with one or the other of the first two moving parts of the cog that ends in the barrel.

The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention.

Fig. 1 is a schematic plan view thereof.

Fig. 2 is a section through 11-11 of FIG. 1. In the drawing, 1 represents the motor barrel of the movement mounted between the plate 2 and the barrel bridge 3. On the shaft 4 of this barrel are fixed the ratchet 5, connected to the hand winder not shown and the ratchet 6, which ends with the automatic winding wheel, which wheel comprises the three moving parts 7, 8 and 9, the latter being formed solely by a wheel.

The mass 10 of the automatic winder can rotate around the axis 11 fixed in the plate 12 of this winder. It has a housing in which is driven the pinion 13 which also rotates around the axis 11. On the latter, is also mounted, rotatably, the lever 14 disposed between the plate 12 and the pinion 13 which, as well as the mass , rests freely on it. This rocker 14 carries a single reference 15 which constantly meshes with the pinion 13 and which, depending on the position of the lever 14, grained with one or the other of the mobiles 8 and 9. The oscillations of this reference are limited by a pin 16 able to move in an arcuate opening 17 of the bridge 18 of the automatic winder.

When the mass oscillates in the direction of the arrow f in fig. 1, the return 15 is engaged with the mobile 8 as shown. If the mass oscillates in the opposite direction, the tangential force produced by the rotation of the pinion 13 on the drive 15 will drive the rocker 14 until the moment when this drive is engaged with the mobile 9 that it will rotate. ; the friction of the pinion 13 on the rocker 14 will contribute to this drive. The transmission 15 always remaining at an equal distance from the axis of the pinion 13, the penetration of the teeth of this transmission in this pinion does not vary.
