Description

Automatic winding mechanism for watches. The subject of the invention is an automatic winding mechanism with oscillating weight for watches, characterized in that the , < / B> mass is integral with a coaxial pinion meshing on either side to the left and to the right in pinions mounted in a rocker capable of oscillating around the pivot of the mass, one or the other of. The pinions of the rocker transmits as much, following the direction of oscillation of the mass, the movement to the mainspring by a train of gears.

The accompanying drawing shows schematically by way of example an embodiment of the object of the invention.

Fig. 1 shows the mechanism in its middle position.

Figs. 2 and 3 show the meshing positions.

The automatic winding mechanism for watches comprises a pinion 1 coaxial and integral with an oscillating mass 2 (fig. 1), oscillating about the axis 3. On either side to the left and to the right of the pinion. 1 are arranged the pinions 4 and 5 which are in direct engagement with the pinion 1. The pinions 4 and 5 are mounted in a rocker 6 pivoting around the axis 3. The idler pinion 7, the wheel 8, the pinion 9 and wheel 10 constitute the gear train for winding up the mainspring.

The motor spring is reassembled by the oscillation of the mass as follows: If the mass oscillates to the left according to arrow 11 in fig. 2, the rocker causes meshing. Between the pinions 4 and 7; if the mass oscillates on the other hand to the right according to the arrow 13 of FIG. 3, pinion 5 meshes directly with wheel 8, driving it in the direction of arrow 12.

The pinions of the rocker can be of the same diameter.

The reciprocating movement of the rocker is obtained only by the tangential forces. applied in both directions to the pinions it carries by the teeth of the. pinion integral with the mass.
