Description

Self-winding watch. The vast majority of self-winding watches have an oscillating mass, the movements of which are transmitted to the ratchet of the motor-barrel. the axis is in the center of the watch. The locking required by this transmission of movement requires an additional height of the watch movement, height further increased by the fact that it was necessary to keep the shaft of this oscillating weight in a bridge. special.

The object. of the present invention is. a self-winding watch with oscillating mass, characterized in that the oscillating mass is mounted on an axis pivoted in an upper bearing consisting of a raised extension of a bridge. serving as a bearing for at least one other mobile.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of a self-winding watch according to the present invention, but this only insofar as the understanding of the latter requires it.

Fig. 1 is a partial plan.

lia fig. 2 is a section taken along the broken line II-II of FIG. 1.

On the movement 1 (schematic) of the watch shown is fixed the bearing 2 of the shaft 3 around which moves the oscillating mass 4. This axis 3 is at the center of the movement. It carries a pinion 1-I, with a very small number of teeth, integral with a ratchet wheel 5 in the teeth of which takes the pawl 6 pivoted on the oscillating mass. The mobile 5, 14 is mounted idle on the axis 3. The movements of the mass 4 are transmitted to the pinion 14 by the pawl 6 and from this pinion, by the single intermediate return 7, to the ratchet. 8 of the motor cylinder.

In the plane of the oscillating mass there is provided a bridge 9 serving as a bearing for the reference 7 and which is extended by a raised part 10, in which the axis of the oscillating mass is pivoted.

This way of proceeding simplifies the automatic winding mechanism, in the sense that a bridge and all its adjustments are spared and that it is possible to give the intermediate reference 7 the necessary dimensions so that it is alone interposed between the mobile 5, 14 and the barrel ratchet.
