Raccord pour tuyau souple. La présente invention a pour objet un raccord pour tuyau souple. Ce raccord est caractérisé par un manchon présentant un épaulement et un filetage intérieurs, et par une bague présentant un épaulement exté rieur fileté, cette bague étant destinée à être montée sur le tuyau, au voisinage de son ex trémité, l'extrémité du tuyau étant alors repliée autour de la bague, à l'extérieur de celle-ci, cette dernière se vissant dans le man chon de façon à presser le pli du tuyau contre ledit épaulement pour fixer le manchon au tuyau, le diamètre intérieur du manchon à l'endroit de l'épaulement étant égal au dia mètre intérieur du tuyau, de manière que le raccord ne produise aucun étranglement du canal.

Le raccord représenté comprend un man chon extérieur 1 présentant deux saillies la munies chacune d'un rebord lb. Le manchon 1 présente un rebord 1c dans lequel sont pra tiquées deux encoches 2. Ce manchon 1 est destiné à être assemblé à un autre manchon identique d'un autre raccord, les saillies la de l'un des manchons pénétrant dans les en coches 2 de l'autre et leurs rebords 1b s'accro- chant, après un mouvement angulaire relatif, au rebord 1c. Le manchon 1 présente un épaulement intérieur 1d contre lequel vient buter un second manchon, désigné par 3 maintenu en place par un anneau élastique fendu 4 qui pénètre partiellement dans une rainure annulaire 5 du manchon 3.
Ce man chon présente une partie amincie 3a (voir la moitié gauche de la fig. 3) filetée intérieure ment en 14. Un épaulement intérieur 3b est ainsi constitué. Une gorge annulaire 6 est pratiquée dans cet épaulement. Le manchon 3 porte en outre un joint de caoutchouc 7 monté dans une rainure annulaire 8 prati quée dans l'épaisseur du manchon 3. Ce joint 7 est destiné à s'appliquer contre un joint identique du raccord symétrique. Une bague 9 présentant un épaulement extérieur fileté 9a est montée sur un tuyau souple 10 de chanvre. L'extrémité 10a du tuyau est repliée autour du bord arrondi de la bague à l'ex térieur de celle-ci.
Il sera préférable de pra tiquer de courtes entailles dans l'extrémité du tuyau pour pouvoir effectuer le pliage convenablement. La bague 9 est alors vissée dans le manchon 3, le pli du tuyau, désigné par 10b, venant prendre appui contre le fond de la gorge 6. Pour effectuer ce montage, il suffit de tenir le tuyau 10 dans une main et de faire tourner le manchon 3 de l'autre; le frottement entre la bague 9 et le tuyau 10 est suffisant pour que la bague ne soit pas entraînée et qu'elle se visse dans le man chon 3. Le diamètre intérieur du manchon 3 à l'endroit de l'épaulement est égal au dia mètre intérieur du tuyau 10, de sorte que le raccord ne produit aucun étranglement du canal.
Il est à remarquer que ce raccord présente l'avantage de permettre au tuyau d'être courbé, immédiatement après le raccord, sans risque de coupure du tuyau, ce qui n'est pas le cas avec les raccords ordinaires présentant un manchon situé à l'intérieur du tuyau.
L'assemblage des manchons pourrait être différent de celui qui est représenté; il pour rait, par exemple, se faire par vissage.

The connector shown comprises an outer sleeve 1 having two projections 1a each provided with a flange lb. The sleeve 1 has a flange 1c in which two notches are made 2. This sleeve 1 is intended to be assembled to another identical sleeve of another fitting, the projections 1a of one of the sleeves penetrating into the notches 2 on the other and their edges 1b hooking up, after a relative angular movement, to the edge 1c. The sleeve 1 has an internal shoulder 1d against which abuts a second sleeve, designated by 3 held in place by a split elastic ring 4 which partially penetrates into an annular groove 5 of the sleeve 3.
This man chon has a thinned part 3a (see the left half of FIG. 3) threaded internally at 14. An interior shoulder 3b is thus formed. An annular groove 6 is made in this shoulder. The sleeve 3 also carries a rubber seal 7 mounted in an annular groove 8 made in the thickness of the sleeve 3. This seal 7 is intended to be applied against an identical seal of the symmetrical connector. A ring 9 having a threaded outer shoulder 9a is mounted on a flexible pipe 10 of hemp. The end 10a of the pipe is folded back around the rounded edge of the ring on the outside thereof.
It will be preferable to make short notches in the end of the pipe in order to be able to bend properly. The ring 9 is then screwed into the sleeve 3, the bend of the pipe, designated by 10b, coming to bear against the bottom of the groove 6. To perform this assembly, it is sufficient to hold the pipe 10 in one hand and to turn the sleeve 3 on the other; the friction between the ring 9 and the pipe 10 is sufficient so that the ring is not driven and that it is screwed into the sleeve chon 3. The internal diameter of the sleeve 3 at the location of the shoulder is equal to the dia meter inside the pipe 10, so that the fitting does not produce any constriction of the channel.
It should be noted that this fitting has the advantage of allowing the pipe to be bent, immediately after the fitting, without risk of cutting the pipe, which is not the case with ordinary fittings having a sleeve located at the end. inside the pipe.
The assembly of the sleeves could be different from that shown; it could, for example, be done by screwing.
