Description

  

  Raccord souple et extensible    La présente invention a pour objet un raccord  souple et extensible, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend  deux embouts identiques destinés<B>à</B> être fixés respec  tivement<B>à</B>     rextrémité    de chacune des tuyauteries<B>à</B>  raccorder, chacun desdits embouts étant pourvu<B>à</B> sa  périphérie d'une gorge circulaire aménagée entre  deux collerettes, chacune desdites gorges étant desti  née<B>à</B> servir de logement<B>à</B> un joint torique en matière  souple, lesdits embouts munis de leurs joints étant  engagés par coulissement dans une bagne cylindrique  destinée<B>à</B> assurer l'étanchéité du raccord au moyen  d'un léger serrage desdits joints,

   ladite bague étant  entourée de deux     demi-colliers    identiques maintenus  en place par un collier de serrage, ledit raccord étant  destiné<B>à</B> assurer une jonction souple et étanche  entre deux tuyauteries ou entre une tuyauterie et un  appareil muni dudit embout.  



  Le dessin annexé, donné<B>à</B> titre d'exemple, repré  sente une forme d'exécution du raccord objet de  l'invention.  



  La figure unique est une vue en coupe verticale  du raccord appliqué<B>à</B> la jonction de deux tuyauteries.  Le raccord, dans la forme d'exécution représen  tée comprend deux embouts<B>1, Y</B> de forme identique,  chacun des embouts pouvant être fixé, par exemple  par soudure, brasure ou tout autre moyen, sur l'ex  trémité de chacune des tuyauteries<B>à</B> raccorder amor  cée en T, T' respectivement, la nature de ladite fixa  tion dépendant de l'usage particulier auquel est des  tiné le raccord.  



  Chacun des embouts<B>1, l'</B> est pourvu d'une gorge  <B>3, 3'</B> respectivement, destinée<B>à</B> loger un joint     torique     2, 2' respectivement, en matière souple, par exemple  en caoutchouc naturel ou synthétique. Sur les deux  embouts munis de leur joint respectif peut coulisser  une bague 4, de forme cylindrique, destinée<B>à</B> assurer    l'étanchéité du raccord au moyen d'un léger serrage  desdits joints.  



  La bague 4 est entourée de deux     demi-colliers   <B>5,</B>  <B>5%</B> de forme identique, pourvus<B>à</B> chacune de leurs  extrémités d'une collerette<B>6, 6'</B> et     61,    et     61a    respecti  vement, lesdits     demi-colliers    étant destinés<B>à</B> limiter  l'écartement des embouts<B>1, Y</B> et<B>le</B> déplacement de  la bagne 4. Les     demi-colliers    sont maintenus en place  par un collier de serrage<B>7,</B> de forme usuelle.  



  L'assemblage du raccord décrit est effectué de la  manière suivante: avant le montage, on engage la  bague cylindrique 4 sur l'un des deux embouts, par  exemple l'embout<B>1,</B> et on la repousse de telle façon  qu'elle dégage l'extrémité dudit embout. Quand les  deux embouts<B>1, Y</B> sont amenés face<B>à</B> face, on  fait glisser la bague 4 de telle manière     qu7elle    recou  vre les deux embouts et laisse apparaître<B>à</B> chaque  extrémité la collerette extérieure des embouts.

   Les  deux     demi-colliers   <B><I>5,</I></B>     51,    sont alors mis en place et  serrés modérément<B>à</B> l'aide du collier de serrage<B>7.</B>    Les deux     demi-colliers   <B><I>5,</I></B><I> 5a</I> pourraient être reliés  par une charnière, leur réunion du côté opposé<B>à</B>  ladite charnière étant effectuée au moyen d'un dis  positif de fermeture approprié.  



  <B>Il</B> est<B>à</B> remarquer que     run    des embouts<B>1, Y</B>  pourrait être usiné directement sur un appareil des  tiné<B>à</B> être relié<B>à</B> l'embout d'une tuyauterie au  moyen du raccord représenté.  



  Le raccord décrit présente notamment les avanta  ges suivants<B>:</B> par suite de l'absence de centrage entre  les deux embouts du raccord, le montage et le<B>dé-</B>  montage s'effectuent sans déboîtement préalable, ces  opérations étant, d'autre part, facilitées par le jeu  prévu entre les deux embouts. Il permet, en outre,  d'absorber des variations importantes en plus ou  en moins de ce jeu par rapport<B>à</B> la valeur théorique      prévue et de rattraper, de ce fait, les tolérances de  fabrication affectant les cotes des tuyauteries.  



  Le raccord décrit permet également     d7assembler     entre elles deux tuyauteries dont les axes ne sont  pas parfaitement confondus ou forment entre eux un  léger angle.  



  Après assemblage, le raccord décrit admet des  déplacements axiaux et angulaires des tuyauteries et  peut, de ce fait, encaisser toute déformation due<B>à</B>  des dilatations thermiques sans introduire des con  traintes supplémentaires dans les tuyauteries.

  The single figure is a vertical sectional view of the fitting applied <B> to </B> the junction of two pipes. The connector, in the embodiment shown comprises two end pieces <B> 1, Y </B> of identical shape, each end piece being able to be fixed, for example by welding, soldering or any other means, on the ex end of each of the pipes <B> to </B> to be connected started in T, T 'respectively, the nature of said fixing depending on the particular use for which the connection is intended.

  After assembly, the fitting described allows axial and angular displacements of the pipes and can, therefore, withstand any deformation due <B> to </B> thermal expansions without introducing additional stresses in the pipes.
