Description

  

  Raccord de     tuyau.       L'objet de l'invention est un raccord de  tuyau.  



  Il comporte, .comme d'autres raccords con  nus de tuyau, un corps fileté présentant une  surface de forme générale tronconique, ainsi  qu'un organe fileté destiné à venir en prise  avec le filetage du corps et présentant aussi  une surface générale tronconique servant à  serrer fortement l'extrémité du tuyau à rac  corder sur la surface tronconique du corps,  quand on visse cet organe sur ce corps.  



  Mais il s'en distingue par le fait que les  deux surfaces tronconiques saut situées cha  cune dans une cavité de la partie la présen  tant, si bien qu'elles se trouvent à l'abri des  chocs.  



  Le     -dessin    annexé représente, à titre  d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du raccord       selon    l'invention.  



  La figure unique en est une coupe axiale.  Le corps a du raccord représenté présente  à l'une de ses extrémités, de diamètre relati  vement petit, un filetage extérieur b servant  à le fixer à la pièce à laquelle le raccord    ,doit relier     le    tuyau c; à l'autre extrémité     d,     de plus grand diamètre et présentant six  pans, ce corps a présente une cavité e dont  la parai périphérique présente un filetage in  térieur f sur une partie :de sa longueur. Au  fond de l'a cavité e se trouve une saillie an  nulaire     g    dont la surface extérieure h a la  forme .d'un tronc de cône.  



  L'organe i, destiné à coopérer avec le  corps a pour la fixation du tuyau c, com  porte une partie extrême     j    à six pans et une  partie extrême<I>k</I> portant un filetage     l    cor  respondant au filetage intérieur     f.    Dans  cette seconde partie se trouve une cavité  axiale m limitée par une surface tronconique       n    dont la génératrice a la même inclinaison  sur l'axe que celle -de la surface h en regard  de     laquelleelle    se trouve. Le corps a -et l'or  gane i sont par exemple en laiton, le tuyau  c en cuivre.  



  On se sert comme suit de cette forme       d'exécution:     On enfile l'organe i sur le tuyau c, puis  on pratique à     l'extrémité    voulue de celui-ci      un évasement o; on introduit alors cette ex  trémité et cet organe dans la cavité e et on  visse le second dans le filetage intérieur f.  La partie évasée o est fortement serrée entre  les surfaces tronconiques h, n, si bien que  l'on obtient un raccordement étanche du  tuyau c au raccord     na,    même si la pression  dans ce tuyau e est fort élevée.  



  Grâce au fait     que    les deux surfaces co  niques h, n se trouvent dans -des cavités du  corps<I>a</I> et de l'organe<I>i,</I> elles sont à l'abri des  chocs, des coups pendant le transport, le  montage, ce qui     assure    une bonne étanchéité  du joint, contrairement à des raccords con  nus, où au moins l'une de ces surfaces tron  coniques -est directement accessible de l'ex  térieur ;du corps.  



  Les surfaces h, n, au lieu :d'être exacte  ment     tronconiques,    peuvent avoir simplement  une forme générale     trânconique,    c'est-à-dire    se rapprochant seulement plus ou moins 4e  la forme tronconique exacte.

  The surfaces h, n, instead of being exactly frustoconical, may simply have a general tranconical shape, that is to say only approximating more or less the exact frustoconical shape.
