L'invention a pour but de permettre de prendre une douche en se tenant debout ou assis dans la baignoire sans être obligé de tenir la poignée de la douche à la main. A cet effet, le support comprend un socle portant un bras constitué par plusieurs élé ments reliés les uns aux autres par des rotules et par une tige coulissant dans le dernier élément, celle- ci présentant à son extrémité extérieure deux pinces capables de saisir ladite poignée.
Le dessin ci-joint représente, à titre d'exemple et de manière schématique, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue de face du support en posi tion d'emploi pour prendre une douche, l'usager étant debout ; la fig. 2 est une vue de côté du support en posi tion d'emploi ; les fig. 3 et 3a montrent, en élévation, les deux plaques d'un dispositif de fixation selon une variante ; les fig. 4 et 4a représentent ces plaques en coupe. Le support représenté comprend un dispositif de fixation ou socle 1 à l'aide duquel le support est fixé au mur au-dessus de la baignoire. Sur ce socle est fixé, de préférence de manière amovible, un premier élément du bras articulé relié par une rotule 2 au deuxième élément 3.
Un élément tubulaire 5 est relié par une rotule 4 à l'élément 3 et contient une tige coulissante 6 dont l'extrémité extérieure est reliée par une rotule 8 à une fourche 9 présentant deux pinces 10 recevant la poignée 12' de la pomme à douche 12. Chaque rotule est munie de moyens de blocage non représentés.
Le bras du support est orientable et pliable dans toutes les directions et sa longueur peut être réglée en faisant coulisser la tige 6 qui peut être bloquée à l'aide de la vis de serrage 7. La pomme 12 peut être ainsi placée dans toute position désirée et le jet d'eau dirigé à volonté.

Les fig. 3 et 4 montrent les pièces d'une variante du dispositif de fixation ou socle permettant de fixer le support sur le crochet de suspension habituel de la pomme à douche 12. Ce socle 1 est constitué par deux plaques 13 et 14 dont une 13 présente dans une de ses grandes faces une excavation 18 ayant la forme d'un crochet. La plaque 13 présente en outre un trou 17 placé à l'intérieur du crochet 18 et un trou 16 placé à l'extérieur de ce crochet. La plaque 14 présente un trou taraudé 17' correspon dant au trou 17, et un trou 16' correspondant au trou 16.
La plaque 13 présente encore un logement 19 capable de recevoir l'extrémité du premier élé ment du bras articulé relié par la rotule 2 au deuxième élément 3. Pour fixer le support au cro chet, on place les plaques 13 et 14 de part et d'autre de ce crochet en adaptant l'excavation 18 sur le crochet après avoir engagé l'extrémité du premier élément du bras articulé dans le logement 19 ; on serre ensuite les deux plaques 13 et 14 sur le cro chet en vissant dans le trou 17' une vis<B>15</B> enfilée dans le trou 17 et en enfilant une goupille dans les trous 16 et 16'.

The support shown comprises a fixing device or base 1 with the aid of which the support is fixed to the wall above the bathtub. On this base is fixed, preferably in a removable manner, a first element of the articulated arm connected by a ball 2 to the second element 3.
A tubular element 5 is connected by a ball 4 to the element 3 and contains a sliding rod 6 whose outer end is connected by a ball 8 to a fork 9 having two clamps 10 receiving the handle 12 'of the shower head 12. Each ball is provided with locking means, not shown.
The support arm can be swiveled and folded in all directions and its length can be adjusted by sliding the rod 6 which can be locked using the clamping screw 7. The apple 12 can thus be placed in any desired position. and the water jet directed at will.

Figs. 3 and 4 show the parts of a variant of the fixing device or base for fixing the support on the usual suspension hook of the shower head 12. The plate 13 also has a hole 17 placed inside the hook 18 and a hole 16 placed outside this hook.
