10. Adjustable support assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the shoe (10) integral with a lever arm (17) is applied against the outer face of the rear wall of the bar (2) and cooperates with retaining notches (11) provided on the rear wall of said bar.

11. Adjustable support assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the lever (18) carrying the shoe (10) is a lever with two arms (17,19) and has the form T of a stirrup, the two lateral branches of which are articulated on the two pivots (20) of the collar (6).

Adjustable support assembly according to any one of claims l to 11, characterized in that the shoe (10) is connected to the outside of the collar (6) using a section of rod or tube (13,14) which crosses the rear wall (6b) of the collar (6) and whose free end projecting from the collar is articulated a control lever (15) bearing (at 16) on the rear face (6b) of said collar (6).
