Claims (8)

  1. Closure device for a boot, especially for a ski boot, adapted to maintain two flaps (2, 2A, 2B, 3) of the boot close together and comprising, on the one hand, a control lever (4) borne by a plate (6) fixedly connected to one (3) of the flaps to be brought closer to the other (2, 2A, 2B) and, on the other hand, on the other flap (2, 2A, 2B), a rack (8, 8A) comprising complementary means for adjusting its position with respect to the lever (4) allowing to increase its tightening ability, a hooking element (9), capable of being engaged in one of the teeth (8a, 8b, 8c) of the rack (8, 8A), is itself connected to the control lever (4) by an inextensible tie rod (7), characterized in that the adjustment means of the rack (8, 8A) are constituted by an adjustment zone (20, 24, 33) comprising an oblong slot in the shape of a buttonhole (10) obtained on the flap (2, 2A, 2B) of the boot, at right angles with a lower surface of the rack (8, 8A), and demarcated by two circular end zones (11, 12) whose diameter (D1, D2) is equal to that (D3) of a locking pin (13, 13A) affixed to the lower surface of the rack (8, 8A) and crossing through said buttonhole (10) to be axially retained therein, said circular zones (11, 12) being connected between them by a straight portion (14) with parallel edges (15, 16) spaced apart along a value (B) that is equal to that (B') of a flat portion (17) of the pin (13, 13A) of the rack (8, 8A) which is oriented in a direction (Y-Y') perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (X-X') of displacement of the latter (8, 8A), such that the latter can be displaced along (F), in view of its adjustment, from one end (11) to the other (12) of the buttonhole (10), after a 90° rotation (R) with respect to its longitudinal axis (X-X') to allow the free sliding of the flat zone (17) of the pin (13, 13A) in the straight portion (14) of the buttonhole (10) and the locking of the latter (13, 13A), therefore of the rack (8, 8A), in either one of the circular end zones (11, 12) by a 90° rotation in the opposite direction, bringing the rack (8, 8A) back to a functional longitudinal position.
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the axial retention of the locking pin (13, 13A) and of the rack (8, 8A) on the flap (2, 2A, 2B) of the boot in the adjustment zone (20, 24, 33) occurs by means of an enlarged circular zone (38, 41) of said pin (13, 13A) taking support beneath the adjustment buttonhole (10), and whose dimensions (D3) are at least greater than those (D1, D2) of the circular end zones (11, 12) of the latter (10).
  3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the pin (13A) is obtained affixedly to the rack (8A), and in that the enlarged zone for axial retention of the pin (13A), therefore of the rack (8A), is constituted by a circular washer (41) attached on the free base (42) of the pin (13A), after insertion in the buttonhole (10), by means of a screw (43) that is screwed in an axial threaded hole (44) thereof.
  4. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the pin (13) with flat portions (17) is obtained distinctly from the rack (8), and forms at its base a flange (38) constituting the enlarged support zone, the linkage of such a pin (13) on the rack (8), in a slidable manner, occurs by means of a perpendicular axis (39) originating from the lower surface of the rack (8) that crosses an axial boring (40) of the pin (13) to be affixed thereto.
  5. Device according to one of claims 1-4, characterized in that the adjustment zone on which the buttonhole (10) is obtained is constituted by a relatively planar rigid support plate (20) on which the rack (8) is slidably fixed beforehand, and which is attached on the flap (2) of the boot by means of two binding rivets (21, 22) at its ends, said flap (2) of the boot being itself provided with an opening (23) crossing it through its entire thickness and able to allow for the free movement of the pin (13) of the rack (8) during a subsequent adjustment.
  6. Device according to one of claims 1-4, characterized in that the adjustment zone on which the buttonhole (10) is obtained is constituted by an omega-shaped rigid support plate (24) of which a central portion having the profile of an inverted U is adapted to be housed in a transverse opening (25) of the flap (2A) of the boot, a relatively planar upper portion (26) constituting the horizontal arm of the U comprises the buttonhole (10) in which the rack (8, 8A) is slidably fixed beforehand, and brushes the outer surface of the flap (2A) of the boot, whereas the lateral arms (27, 28) of the omega, extending along opposite directions, are housed in recesses (29, 30) obtained on the inner surface of the flap (2A) of the boot and receive two binding rivets (31, 32) which cross it right through.
  7. Device according to one of claims 1-4, characterized in that the adjustment zone on which the buttonhole (10) is obtained is constituted by a relatively planar rigid support plate (33) on which the rack (8, 8A) is slidably fixed beforehand, and which is attached in a housing (34) with corresponding shape and thickness obtained on the outer surface of the flap (2B) of the boot to be fixed therein by means of two rivets (35, 36) at its ends, said flap (2B) comprising, at right angles with the buttonhole (10), a blind housing (37) whose dimensions are capable of allowing the free movement of the pin (13) borne by the rack (8, 8A) during a subsequent adjustment thereof.
  8. Device according to one of claims 1-4, characterized in that the adjustment zone on which the buttonhole (10) is obtained is constituted by an overmolding of a relatively rigid plastic material achieved on the relevant flap (2) of the boot.
