Device for extracting the juice from crushed material containing juice. The present invention relates to a device for extracting the juice from crushed material containing juice, such as, for example, fruits and vegetables.
Known similar devices have a motor-driven grating disc iuid a sieve basket which is in motion with the same, against whose aniseed jacket the material is thrown immediately after grating, so that the juice is centrifuged out of the grating material while the residues remain in the sieve basket.
The disadvantage here is that only a small amount of the goods is processed one after the other. can be, since the remaining solid residues in the sieve basket cause a blockage of the 'sieve after a relatively short period of operation and must be removed by cleaning the sieve basket.
The present invention eliminates the drawback described and relates to a device which is characterized in that means are present to continuously convey the residues of the centrifuged material separately from the sieve basket and from the device separately from the juice obtained.
In the drawing, for example, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown schematically and partially in longitudinal section is.
According to the illustration, a vertical axis 1 coupled to the drive motor, not shown, is rotatably mounted in a sleeve 2, which is attached to a non-illustrated Ge alternate, which can be the housing of the drive motor.
The upper end of the axis 1 projects into a housing 3, 4, the lower part 3 of which rests on the bush 2. By means of a screwed nut 5, which is screwed onto a threaded shoulder of the upper end of the axle 1, a raffle disc 6 is connected to the axle 1 in a rotationally fixed manner,
with a cylindrical jacket 8 of a sieve basket provided with sieve openings 7 adjoining the circumference of the Raffelacheibe, in such a way that the Raffel disk 6 forms the upper end face of the sieve basket, the lower end of which is open.
The raffle disc 6 has upwardly projecting raffle teeth 9 and between these teeth's arranged openings 7.0 for the passage of the ruffled material.
Inside the screen basket is a substantially cylindrical body 11, which, penetrated by the axis 1, in rigid connection with the United Ver - housing part 3 and the sleeve 2 is. The outer surface of the body 11, which is held at some distance from the jacket 8 of the screen basket, which is designed as a screen, has a very eye-line shaped groove 12 which makes the body 11 a screw conveyor.
The groove 12 runs in such a way that when the strainer basket is rotated, material that has accumulated between the two parts screws down on it. Between the screw conveyor 11 and the grating disc, at some distance from the latter and parallel to it, there is a disc 13, the periphery of which does not extend all the way to the casing 8 of the screen basket designed as a screen,
and which is also in a rotationally fixed connection with the axis 1 by means of the nut 5.
The housing 3, 4 concentrically surrounds the strainer basket at a certain distance and has a collecting channel 14 arranged in the housing part 3 for the juice obtained, from which a beak-shaped spout 15 leads to the outside for draining the juice. The lower,
The open end of the sieve basket is covered against the channel 14 by an edge 16 of the lower housing part 3 and is connected to a spout 17 beginning in the bottom of the housing part 3, which serves to remove the solid residues of the grated material from the device to divert.
The upper part 4 of the housing 3, 4 is designed as a removable cover and is provided with a channel 18 reaching up to the grating disc 6 for feeding the goods to be processed.
The end of the channel 18 turned towards the grater disk is formed by an exchangeable part 19, the lower end edge of which has a profile that represents the negative of the grater tooth - the profile of the grater disk 6 rotating in front of this edge, the grater teeth 9 of the Grater disc are arranged in concentric circles on the disc 6.
There is such a small distance between the positive profile of the gathering disc and the negative profile of the channel part 19 that
that all of the material to be processed must pass through the openings 10 of the grating disc into the interior of the sieve basket. One. The plug 20 is slidable and removable in the channel 18 and provided with a handle 21.
The device described can have means, not shown, so that it can be placed on the lower part of a mixer containing a motor drive instead of its container attachment.
The axis 1 of the device can then advantageously be releasably connected to the drive shaft of the mixer lower part by means of a plug-on coupling, which makes it possible to use the motor of the mixer lower part also to drive the device.
In given cases, a reduction gear is advantageously available on the device, which is connected on the one hand to the axle 1 and on the other hand by means of a plug-on coupling with the drive shaft of the mixer lower part can be coupled.
The connection between the axis 1 and the corresponding side of the reduction gear can also be achieved by means of a slip-on coupling, which makes it possible to remove the reduction gear from the device.
The use and operation of the device described is as follows: The material to be processed is poured into the channel 18 after the plug 20 has been removed and pressed against the teeth 9 of the grating disc after the drive has been started up with the aid of the plug.
The teeth 9 grate the good. in the smallest of particles, which fall through the openings 10 of the Räffelscheibe 6 on the underlying disc 13 and are thrown on the same to the outside against the formed as a screen jacket 8 of the screen basket ge.
The solid particles of the grated product are held back by the sieve while the juice is thrown out through the sieve openings 7 into the housing 3, 4 as a result of the centrifugal force, collects in the channel 14 and from there through the spout 15 into a provided one The vessel flows off.
As soon as there is a tendency to stagnate on the sieve as a result of the subsequent thrust of further shavings, the shuffled and unraveling material is picked up by the stationary transport screw 11 and conveyed downwards in the axial direction through the strainer basket until the dry residues finally pass through the outlet string 17 get out of the sieve basket and the device into a prepared collecting vessel.
Large quantities of material can therefore also be processed one after the other, with the dry residues of the material being grated after centrifugation, separated from the juice, being continuously removed from the device.
To clean the raffle disc and the strainer basket etc., after removing the cover 4, the nut 5 is loosened, whereupon the raffle disc 6 with the strainer basket connected to it, as well as the disc 13, can be removed.
If necessary, a different grater disc or a different screen basket can be used.
According to one embodiment, the screw conveyor can be made of a hollow structure instead of a full body 11 and, if necessary, extend with its circumference to close to the casing 8 of the sieve basket designed as a sieve, with the screw-shaped groove. 12 may have a greater depth.
