Une forme d'exécution de la presse objet de l'invention est décrite,à titre d'exemple, en regard du dessin annexé dans lequel: la fig. 1 en est une vue de face; la fig. 2 en représente la partie supérieure, en coupe verticale suivant la ligne 2-2 de la fig. 3; la fig. 3 est une coupe suivant la ligne 3-3 de la fig. 2; les fig. 4,5, 6 et7 sont des coupes schéma tiques représentant les positions successives occupées par les. coulisseaux de la presse de la fig. 1, a-Li cours d'un cycle de fonctionne ment;
Cette biellette28 est également articulée en27 sur une deuxième bielle30 correspondante dirigée vers le basà l'intérieur du b-,'iti et dont l'extrémité infé rieure est articulée en31 sur une pièce pivo tanteÔ'2) montée dans le bâti de telle manière que si Fon fait tourner cette pièce pivotante autour de son pivot33 solidaire du bâti, le mécanisme d'entraînement, agissant sur le coulisseau de première action se trouvera coin- mandé;
Press to stamp the sheet. The present invention relates to a press for stamping the sheet, comprising three slides, to namely a first action cotilisseau to hold the sheet, a second action slide to stamping the sheet and giving it the desired general shape and a third action slider to complete the stamping, characterized in that the first and third action sliders are controlled by mounted drag mechanisms by the press spring,
while the second action slider is controlled by a drive mechanism housed in the press base while being connected to the first action slider drive mechanism to move with a given delay relative to to the latter, the whole being established so that the driving mechanism of the first action slide moves the latter downwards to maintain the edges of the sheet during the entire stamping process, while the slide third action and its drive mechanism are first driven to more or less solidly with the first action slide without acting on the sheet,
that the drive mechanism of the second action slide pushes the latter upwards to stamp the sheet and give it the general desired shape, and so that the drive mechanism of the slide third action forces the latter to to move downwards with respect to the first action slide immobilized at this moment, to complete the stamping, the three mechanisms of drive then returning the corresponding slides to their starting position.
An embodiment of the press object of the invention is described, to by way of example, with reference to the appended drawing in which: FIG. 1 is a front view; fig. 2 shows the upper part, in vertical section along line 2-2 of FIG. 3; fig. 3 is a section taken along the line 3-3 of fig. 2; figs. 4, 5, 6 and 7 are tick diagram sections representing the successive positions occupied by the. slides of the press of fig. 1, a-Li during one operating cycle;
fig. 8 is a graph showing the periodic movement of the press slides of fig. 1; fig. 9 is a view partially in elevation and partially in section of the drive mechanism of the slides arranged in the base of the press of FIG. 1; fig. 10 is a horizontal section along the line 10-10 of fig. 9.
The press shown comprises a frame consisting of a box spring 11 and a base 12 connected one to the other by the spacers 10 and the tie rods 13.
The press further comprises a first action upper slide 14, intended to push the sheet down to hold it during stamping, a third action slide 48, associated with the press slide. first action, to complete the stamping of the sheet, and a lower 72, or second action slide, to emboss the sheet and give it the desired general shape.
The upper part or base of the press carries the two drive mechanisms corresponding to the first and third action sliders, while the second action slider is controlled by a drive mechanism arranged in the base of the press, the drive mechanisms of the first and second action sliders being d5ailleurs interconnected so that, a downward movement of the first action slide corresponds to a movement, up the second action slide.
These movements in the opposite direction ensure the stamping of the sheet by the second-action slider, a wise stamping intended to give it the general shape of the article to produce, after which the third action slide moves under the action of its drive mechanism relative to the first action slide to complete the stamping. In the embodiment shown, the different drive mechanisms each comprise two elementary mechanisms mounted on either side of a plane of symmetry of the press.
As shown more particularly in FIG. 2 and 3, the first-action slider 14 is suspended below the base so that the forces undergone by the slider are transmitted and absorbed by the tensioners 13 </ B> attached to the base. In the case shown, the slide 14 is driven on each side of the press by a horizontal shaft 16 journaling on an axis 17 itself carried by the bed base. A 16 shaft and a 17 shaft are provided on each side of the press.
Each of these shafts 16 carries an arm 18 connected at 19 to. a connecting rod 20 articulated to turn in 21. on -Lino threaded rod 22 crossing vertically -Lino range 23 provided on the slide. Each threaded rod 23 carries a threaded collar 24 making it possible to adjust, as will be explained below, the position of the slider 14 relative to to its drive mechanism and therefore the distance between said slider and the base of the press.
Each shaft 16 has a second arm 25 forming an angle with the first arm 18 and connected at 25a to a connecting rod 26 directed downward to the inside of the press frame. The lower end of each rod 26 is articulated in 9-7 to a rod 28 (fig. 1) </ B > articulated, on the other hand, at 29, on the frame.
This 28 rod is also articulated at 27 on a corresponding second 30 rod directed downward to the inside of the b -, 'iti and whose lower end is articulated at 31 on a pivoting part Ô'2) mounted in the frame in such a way that if Fon causes this pivoting part to turn around its pivot 33 integral with the frame, the drive mechanism, acting on the first-action slide, will be jammed;
if we consider that this drive mechanism is located in the bed base of the press and acts to like a lever < B> to the knee pad, it is easy to see that this will result in a back and forth movement for the slider neck 14 ..
A inside the base of the press and on each side is an eccentric 34 turning around an eccentric shaft 35 and controlling an arm or a collar eccentric 36 on which is articulated in 37 the end of a connecting rod 38 articulated, on the other hand, in 39, on the corresponding rotating part 32 . It can therefore be seen that when the eccentric 34 is caused to rotate, the pivoting part 32 will rotate around its pivot 33 under the action of the connecting rod 38. This pivoting part acts in in its turn on the corresponding drive mechanism of the first action slide which is housed in the bed base to control, as described above, the slide 14.
The eccentric 34 which oscillates the pivoting part 32 is preferably disposed on the side of the press opposite to that where the corresponding pivoting part is located, which allows increase the length of the connecting rod 38. The ex- cent, rique 34 is controlled by means of the toothed wheel 40 which is integral with it and (it engages with a pinion 41 ; The latter is integral with the toothed wheel 42 engaged by the intermediate gears 43 and 44 with a toothed wheel 45 integral with a pinion 46. This dei-nier pinion 46 is engaged with the toothed wheel 47 wedged on the shaft 35 of the second eccentric 34.
This 40-47 gear train is therefore such that if one rotates one of the 35 eccentric shafts under the action of the press motor, not shown and acting on one of the elements of said gear train, the two eccentrics will ensure the reciprocating movement of the slide 14 by means of the set of symmetrical elementary drive mechanisms and their elements 32, 28 , 25 arranged on both sides of the press.
A the inside of the slider 14 is disposed the slider 48 forming a third action slider, this slider 48 being able to de- place integrally with the slide 14 and also with respect to to it. A this effect, the slide 14 has supports 49 to its ends ,,;, ee ##; supports 49 carrying the drive mechanism of the slide 48. This mechanism includes levers 50 pivoting on the supports 49 and coupled at 51 to the rods 52. < / B> These are to their turn articulated at 53 to the support 54 of the slide 48, this set 49 to 53 repeating itself from on either side of the slide 48 and of the support 54 on both sides of the plane of symmetry of the press.
The slider 48 is connected to the support 54 in an adjustable manner so that the distance between the slider 48 and the bed frame of can be mod - ; to this end, two pairs of threaded rods are provided 55, each rod being integral with a bevel pinion 56 engaged with the bevel pinion 57 corresponding, carried by a corresponding horizontal 58 shaft, mounted on the support'54. By rotating the shafts 58 by suitable means not indicated, it is therefore possible to rotate the threaded rods 55 in engagement with the threaded openings made in the slide 48 ,
which causes the vertical displacement of the latter relative to the support 54 in which the trees are journaled. 58.
The drive mechanism of the third action slide 48 is completed of each side of the press by an eccentric 59 controlling an eccentric arm 60, articulated in 61 on the lever 50, pivoting as has been said, on one of the supports 49.
The eccentrics 59 are mounted on an eccentric shaft 62 placed in the bed base 11 and driven by a toothed wheel 71 controlled by an electric motor 64, preferably via a belt 65 mounted on the pulley 66 and a gear train < B> 67, 68, 69, 70, in such a way to cause the toothed wheel 71 to rotate in the direction of the arrow 63 shown in fig. 2.
The electric motor 64 thus drives by the members 65 to 71 the eccentric shaft 62. The entire drive mechanism described produces a displacement of the third slide. ae- tion 48 with respect to the first action slide 14.
As for the lower slide or of the second action 72, it is controlled by a drive mechanism slaved to the drive mechanism of the first action slide 14. A </ B > To this end, each eccentric arm 36 in the base of the press is articulated at 73 to a link 74 mounted on the opposite eccentric shaft < B> 35 and articulated at its end opposite 76 to a connecting rod 75 itself articulated at 77 to a support 78 which is integral with the second action slide 72.
When the eccentric 34 is rotated to control the eccentric arm 36, there is an oscillating movement of the link 74; this therefore ensures, through the intermediary of the connecting rod 75 , a back and forth movement of the lower slide 72. This lower slide with second action < B> 72 is mounted on its support 78 in an adjustable manner, by means of threaded rods 79 each carrying a bevel pinion 80 meshed with another 81 bevel gear mounted on the corresponding 82 horizontal tal shaft.
The shafts 82 are mounted on the support 78 and are driven by members 83, schematically representing cranks, so to rotate the threaded rods 79 in the corresponding vertical threads of the slide 72.
It can thus be seen that the first action slide 14 is controlled by the eccentric shafts 35, the two symmetrical elementary drive mechanisms 36, 38, 32 in the base, the linkages 28, 26 and at the end the elementary drive mechanisms 25, 17, 18 in the bed base. At the same time, the slide 72 is controlled by the same eccentric shafts 35 and the symmetrical elementary mechanisms 36, 74, 75 in the base, while the third action slide is driven by the eccentric shafts 621 and the linkages 60, 50, 52.
When it is desired to operate the press, the drive mechanism of the third action slider, entirely housed at the upper part of the press, is independent of the drive mechanisms of the sliders 14 and 72 and an appropriate mechanical device, not shown, can be provided to immobilize the first mechanism when the a-Liters are operating and vice versa.
The slider 14 descends under the action of its drive mechanism at the same time as the slider 72 rises, while the third action slider 48 remains integral with the first action slider 14 since its drive mechanism. does not work and cannot move relative to support 49. This continues until first action slider 14 has reached the limit of its downward movement. In other words, the two eo-ulisseaux 14 and 48 will be lowered by the same height over a determined distance in advance under the action of the dragging mechanism controlled by the eccentrics 34.
In practice, the first action slider 14 is made to move a little faster in its downward movement than the third action slider 48, due to this </ B > that, the motor 64 controlling the drive mechanism of the slide 48 being stopped, the transmission 60, 50, 52 normally operating the slide 48 is nevertheless subjected to </ B> the action of the eccentrics 59 fixed with respect to to the press, while the rod 50 of the transmission 60, 50 , 52 is driven by the downward movement of the supports 49.
When the first action slider 14 has reached the indicated level, the slider drive mechanisms 14 and 72 will be stopped in any suitable manner not indicated to ensure downtime. in the movement of the first action slide 14 and at this moment the third action slide 48 will be displaced by its driving mechanism and will descend relative to slide 14 to complete the stamping after stopping the second action slide.
Figs. 4 to 7 represent the successive positions occupied by the three slides and by the dies which are integral with them. Fig. 4 shows the sliders 14 and 72 in rest position with the dies open on either side of the sheet to to be stamped. Fig. 5 corresponds to the stopping time imposed on sliders 14 and 72 before the operation of the third action slider. The sheet is then held by the first action slide.
Fig. 6 represents the position occupied by the dies of the first and second action sliders after operation of the dies which have initiated the sludge operation. Finally, the 7 represents the press after operation of the third action slider alone, ensuring the completion of the stamping process.
Fig. 8 is a graph showing the successive positions of the three sliders during an operating cycle. The movements of the slide 14 of the first action appear clearly on the line through both the central point to left of the diagram, then descending to take a rest position between the points to </ B > approximately 112 and 2560 of the movement of the corresponding eccentric, after which the slide returns to its starting point.
The slider 72 , the movements of which are slightly offset in time with respect to the slider 14, starts from its lower point corresponding to a setting of about 6511 from the eccentric to re-climb and only stop around 23011 after having carried out the first stage of Fem-boutissage. 11 then comes to a halt and goes down again for a setting of about 252 ", That is to say very shortly before the ascent of slide 14.
As for a-Li, the third-action slide, he descends with slide 14, but a little slower to stop at the same time as him and then descend independently of him during his stop, the re-ascent of the two slides 1.4 and 48 then doing at about the same time up to their high position which they simultaneously reach at 360 ".
