Continuously working absorption chiller. The present invention relates to a continuously operating absorption chiller with a pressure-equalizing gas, digester, riser pipe and heating pipe.
The refrigeration apparatus according to the invention differs from known apparatus in that the tubular cooker lies next to the heating pipe and the riser pipe rests against the heating pipe in a thermally conductive manner within the height limits of the cooker.
The invention will be described in more detail with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown schematically in the accompanying drawings.
In Figure 1, a work with inert gas of the absorption refrigeration apparatus is shown according to the invention. FIGS. 2 and 3 and 4 relate to two other embodiments.
In Fig. 1 is an inert gas work, the absorption chiller, z. B. for household purposes, shown schematically. With 10 is. denotes the condenser of the apparatus, which like the absorber 11 is air-cooled.
With 12 an air-cooled rectifier is further designated, with 13 the evaporator of the apparatus, with 14 the so-called pressure vessel and with 15 the gas temperature changer connected in the gas circulation system. Finally, 16 denotes the absorber collecting vessel from which the solution enriched in the absorber 11 is fed through a liquid temperature changer 17 to the cooker 21 of the apparatus. The temperature changer 17 is made in a known manner from two tubes placed one inside the other.
As can be seen from the figure, the rich solution is led from the absorber collecting vessel through the inner pipe of the temperature changer to a riser pipe 20 with a thermosiphon effect, which is provided for pumping the solution up to the digester level, from which the partially degassed solution enters the digester 21 to be led. This consists of a cylindrical tube with such a large diameter that liquid cannot be pumped; can occur. The Ko cher 21 consists of the steam line 23 in one piece.
The bottom of the digester pipe opens into the outer pipe of the liquid temperature changer 17 through which the poor solution is returned to the absorber. As indicated in the figure, is. both the riser pipe 20, the diameter of which should be selected so that the liquid is pumped, and the digester pipe 21 in a thermally conductive connec tion with a heating pipe 24, expediently of cylindrical shape. The junction of the riser pipe is further from the heated end of the tube 24 than the junction of the cooker.
The two tubes 20 and 21 are welded lengthwise to the tube 24, whereby not only a good heat-conducting connection is obtained, but also one with great stability. The Schweissver connections of the two tubes with the heating tube 24 are of different lengths.
The tube 24 also serves as a chimney for the heat source not shown in the fi cure, if this is formed by an open flame, for example a gas flame or petroleum flame, or it only serves as a heat transfer element in the event that an elek thermal cartridge is used. In the latter case, the upper end of the tube 24 is expediently closed.
Iron can be used as the material for the heating tube, although in some cases it may be appropriate to use stainless steel, for example. The heat loss through radiation can be reduced if the stove is built into thermal insulation.
In Fig. 2 an arrangement is shown where the coming from the temperature changer 17, rich solution before its entry into the riser pipe 20 is brought into contact with, steam cooker. The steam pipe 23 is connected directly to the outer tube of the temperature changer 17 and provided with a horizontal branch 27 from. The cooker 21 consists of one leg of an inverted U-tube 28 into which the riser 20 einmün det. The steam is through the other leg and the pipe 27 leads to the steam pipe 23 ge.
The solution enriched with condensate in the pipe 27 is conveyed up through the lower part of the longer leg of the U-pipe 28 into the riser 20 -Lind from there to the level in the Koeher pipe 21.
One advantage of this arrangement is that, unlike the previously common heat transfer organs provided as a central tube, the heating tube is not under the working pressure of the apparatus, as this pressure is only on the suction pipe 21 and on the riser pipe 20.
You therefore have the freedom to use material for the heating tube that best meets the requirements for corrosion resistance and heat transfer capacity. The tube 24 can be welded together from sheet metal. It is in a thermally conductive connection with the riser pipe 20.
The cooker pipe 21 is not directly connected to the heating pipe 24 in a heat-conducting manner, which means that the boiling in this part is not as complete as usual and that a corresponding increase in the boiling in the pipe 20 has to be achieved.
do a sufficient amount of refrigerant to supply the condenser and behind it the evaporator.
The cooker can also be partially arranged in a horizontal position. An embodiment example for such an arrangement is. shown schematically in Figs. The heating tube 30 is angled -Lind the heat enters the horizontal part of the tube, while the flue gases are removed from the vertical part.
The absorber collecting vessel is designated by 31, from which the rich solution is fed through the outer tube of the liquid temperature changer 17 to the upper leg 33 of a lying, U-shaped tube 38. The lower leg of the aforementioned U-tube is used. as a cooker and for this purpose is welded lengthwise to the heating pipe 30, as can also be seen from FIG. From the bottom of the cooker pipe the riser pipe 35 goes through which the solution rises to a gas separation vessel 40.
The riser pipe is expediently connected to the horizontal part of the heating pipe by welding on an arch 41 perpendicular to the heating pipe axis (FIG. 4).
The solution conveyed into the gas separator 40 flows through a return line 36 and the inner tube of the temperature changer 17-Lind finally through the line 45 to the absorber, not shown in the figure. The upper leg 33 of the U-tube 38 is filled with a rich solution with which the cooker vapors are rectified.
The vapors from the gas separator 40 are passed through a line 37 into the tube 33, which is slightly inclined in the direction of the liquid flow, in order to be guided from there through line 34 to the condenser, not shown in the figure.
Since the leg 33 has a continuous inflow of rich solution coming from the absorber through the line 32 and the temperature changer 17, which flows through this leg 33 in countercurrent to the steam flowing through the line 37, one obtains in the upper part of the leg 33 a particularly satisfactory rectification, whereby the condensate which precipitates out is discharged into the digester. The liquid temperature rises in the direction of the riser pipe 30. Despite the low height of the digester, the concentration of the solution in the digester changes relatively little because the main evaporation takes place in the riser pipe 35.
As can be seen from the illustrated embodiment examples, the dimensions of the digester can be small. This not only enables reduced radiation losses from the cooker, but also a second advantage that is related to the corrosion processes in the apparatus. As already known, an anti-corrosive agent is filled into hermetically sealed absorption chillers, which is gradually consumed. This consumption increases with increasing working temperature of the cooker and with the size of the metal surfaces with which the warm solution comes into contact during operation. With suitable training, there is the possibility of increasing the life of the refrigeration unit.
The production of the cooker can be simplified. So far, one has only had to use so-called gas welding to weld the digester together, which results in many practical difficulties in comparison with electrical welding. With the appropriate design, the cooker can now be manufactured with the aid of electrical resistance welding.
