Description

Regulator balance for watch movements and other timepieces. The subject of the invention is a regulating balance for timepieces, in particular for watch movements and for regulating devices of small format hourly devices.

This balance is characterized in that at least two weights are secured to its annular rim, so that they can be offset angularly on the rim by means of a cursor, one independently of the other, in order to move the center of gravity of the balance.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the subject of the invention.

Fig. 1. is a plan view, while the. fi, -. \? shows a section, at a larger scale, along line II-II of fig. 1.

In the drawing, we distinguish the wire annular serge 3 and the arm 4 of the balance-regulator. This arm is pierced with a hole 5 intended to receive the axis of oscillation of the balance.

On the rim 3, the transverse cross section of which is rectangular, are secured three weights 6 offset from each other by o ". For this purpose, each weight is adjusted on the rim by interlocking and is held there by friction, by means of an arcuate spring 7. This spring is fixed to the weight by its median part and extends by its two ends, in the tensioned state, in tint, peripheral guide groove 3 'of the annular serge 3.

The transverse profile of the groove 3 'is preferably of semi-circular shape, while that of the spring 7 is preferably of circular shape.

The weight is thus made integral with the rim, because the spring 7 serves as an assembly member at the same time as. Its active rubbing branches produce a friction effect. The weights 6 are angularly offset on the rim 3, independently of one another, like an adjusted and movable slider with greasy friction, the weights not including any setting screws.

The weights, generally three in number, offer the possibility of rapidly and easily moving the center of gravity of the balance-regulator, with a view to balancing the balance.

A graduation 8 is traced on serge 3, the lines of which form marks for assigning the weights to exact determined positions.

The weights can be adapted to the serge and be removed very quickly and without any difficulty.

The embodiment shown in the drawings being given by way of example, one could conceive, within the framework of the claim, of other forms or variants of execution of the balance, object of the invention. It is thus that, in particular, the shape of the movable massages, as well as the means of securing them and guiding them on the rim of the balance may differ from the example shown in the drawing.
