Self-winding timepiece by rotating mass. The present invention relates to a timepiece with automatic winding by rotating mass, in which the mass is rotatably mounted on the frame of the movement by means of rollers.
This timepiece is characterized by the fact that the mass carries a barrel inside which is housed a rottleanx crown prevented from moving axially by two plates fixed on each face of the mass-barrel assembly, each of these pla quettes being pierced with a central hole for the passage of a journal integral with the frame .du movement, the edge of this hole being folded inwards, the rollers having to.
cha.- (-one of their ends, at the height of the lines I) of the two plates, a part of smaller diameter, the whole so that the mass and. his cannon can. be withdrawn from the journal with the rollers, the latter being prevented from separating from the barrel by said plates.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
The fio% 1 is. a plan view of a part (] * a timepiece constituting this form of: execution.
Fig. 2 is. a section following II-II of the fi-. 1.
Fig. 3 is a section taken on line 111-III of lig. 2. The timepiece shown com takes a rotating winding mass, the plate 1 of which is forced onto a barrel 2a belonging to a cam 2 with three arms. This cam is intended to control a winding lever, not shown. The barrel 2a is secured on a journal 3 secured to a bridge 4 of the frame of the movement. A ring of rollers 5 is interposed between the barrel 2a and the journal 3.
These rollers are prevented from moving axially, on the one hand, by a circular plate 6 fixed to the mass board by three screws 7, and, on the other hand, by a second plate 8, the general shape of which is . that of the cam 2, but whose arms, shorter than those of the cam, each end in an elastic tongue 8a engaged in a hole 9 made in each arm of the cam and resting on an internal shoulder 2b of this hole.
The plates 6 and 8 are pierced with a central hole for the passage of the journal 3; the edge of this hole is folded inwards, so as to form a rim 6a, 8b respectively, intended to retain, by their conical ends 5a, the rollers 5, when the mass is dismantled, to prevent them from do not leave barrel 2a. This mass and the barrel 2a can thus be removed from the journal with the rollers, without the latter being able to separate from the barrel.
A lock 10 holds the mass in place on the journal. This lock has a central hole 11 located slightly outside the longitudinal axis of the lock, so that when (pie it is in place on the finasse, part of the edge of this hole enters a groove 1.2 of the journal, which prevents the mass from leaving the latter. The latch 10 is itself held in place by its folded ends 10a, which penetrate into two holes 13, diametrically opposed, made in the plate 1 of the mass.
