Watch movement with automatic winding by means of an oscillating weight. The subject of the invention is a self-winding watch movement using an oscillating mass-lotte, the latter being integral with a wheel actuating a winding wheel. for example the. crown wheel, via a snap-fit.
This movement is characterized, according to the invention, in that said wheel integral with the flyweight constantly meshes with a toothed oscillating mo- l, the teeth of which extend over tin are of axis minus 180,. this oscillating mobile carrying the impulse pawl intended to act ïier the. ratchet ratchet wheel. This mo-, bile can form a toothed wheel over its entire periphery.
The appended drawing shows, partially and by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
The. Freezes. 1. represents, seen in plan, the mechanism to which the invention relates.
Fig. \? is a cut along line 11-11-11_.
In the middle of the frame of the movement of my watch is pivoted a toothed wheel 3, on the axis of which is wedged, by its hub, the mass-mass (oscillating e 4.
In the wheel 3 engages a toothed oscillating mobile 5, for example a toothed wheel or a toothed wheel segment whose (I @, ntiiru extends over an arc of at least 1.80. This mobile 5 is adjusted crazy on a collar a ratchet wheel 6 fixed on an axle 7 provided with a l: ion 8. The pivots of the axle 7 are adjusted @ = 1 rotate, one in the plate 9 and the other in a bridge 10, In this bridge is also fitted the upper pivot of the wheel 3, while the lower pivot of this wheel is fitted in an auxiliary bridge 12 of the frame, the two pivots each rotating in a bearing.
On another collar of the ratchet wheel 6 is fitted loose a bar 13 assembled securely with the oscillating mobile 5 by pins 14 and screws 15.
Between the -wheel 5 and the bar 13 are disposed the impulse pawl 16 and its return spring 17, said wheel 5 having a groove, in which are housed the ratchet wheel 6, the pawl 16 and the spring 17. The pawl 16 and its return spring 1.7 are partly visible through a window 19 of the bar 13; the pawl is freely mounted on a pin 18 driven through the wheel 5 and said bar 13; it is engaged in the teeth of the. ratchet wheel 6.
In a recess of the bridge 10 is fitted and fixed by a screw a plate 20 which supports the retaining pawl to. angled nose 21, and its return spring 22 always tending to keep the pawl nose engaged in the teeth of the ratchet wheel 6. The pinion 8 meshes with the crown wheel 23, in turn engages in the barrel ratchet 24 .
The crown wheel 23 is controlled, on the other hand, by the manually operated winding mechanism of the usual construction of the movement.
When the watch movement is re-assembled to the. hand, the wheel 23 simultaneously drives the barrel ratchet 24 and the ratchet wheel 6, but the rotational movement of this wheel 6 is not transmissible to the oscillating wheel 5, because of the ratchet 6 , 16 which makes irreversible, on the flyweight wheel 3, the continuous rotational movement ode the crown wheel 23.
During automatic winding, the oscillating mas- selotte 4 communicates, via the wheel 3, an oscillatory movement to the wheel 5 which rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow, at each double alternation. the ratchet wheel 6, au. by means of the impulse pawl 16, so that the pinion 8 of this wheel 6 drags the crown wheel 23 and, therefore, the barrel ratchet 24 in the direction of rotation indicated by the arrow in FIG. 1.
The toothed wheel 5 advantageously replaces the usual toothed sector included in certain automatic winding mechanisms of current construction. Indeed, its center of gravity is located approximately on its axis of oscillation, so that this mobile operates under the best conditions of equilibrium.
A practical advantage results from the fact that this toothed mobile device 5 can be set up and meshed with the wheel 3, without its initial angular position being taken into account with precision, since the disengagement during its operation does not is not to be feared. A certain initial angular shift during installation is therefore completely negligible, given that the mobile is formed by a toothed wheel and that its movement has a relatively limited amplitude.
The toothed oscillating mobile 5 could still be formed by a toothed wheel segment, the teeth of which would extend over an arc of at least 180 ". Such an oscillating mobile would make it possible to make the pull screw easily accessible. generally located near the crown wheel 28.
