Construction element. The object of the present invention is a construction element. This element is characterized in that it comprises a core of fibrous material compressed with a cement-based binder, this core being embedded, at least partially, in at least one more compact coating and of less thickness.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, the schematic cross section of some embodiments of the construction element forming the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a cornice, crowning, fig. 2 a cord also forming a window sill, FIG. 3 a corner pillar, FIG. 4 a window embrasure and FIG. 5 a joist.
The crowning cornice shown in fig. 1 comprises a core of fibrous material compressed with a cement-based binder, an outer covering 2 of artificial stone and an inner covering 3 of agglomerated sawdust.
This cornice is intended to be placed between -des walls formed of panels also comprising a core 1a and coverings 2a and 3a of materials similar to those of the cornice. A concrete intermediate junction piece 4 ensures the correspondence of the adjoining elements and the panels.
The cord and window sill in fig. 2 also includes the same constituent parts.
In the corner pillar of fig. 3, the core of fibrous material 1 has a partial outer coating 2 and an inner recess 5, the surface of which is coated with tar, in order to allow a concrete pillar 6 to be poured therein with reinforcing bars 7, without that moisture does not penetrate into the fibrous core of the adjacent walls.
The window embrasure of FIG. 4 and the beam of fig. 5 also include elements with a core 1 and partial outer covering 3, as well as an internal recess 5, the surface of which is tarred, to allow a concrete core 6 reinforced at 7 to be poured therein. The window embrasure comprises in addition an exterior coating 2.
Many variants of these embodiments can be provided. The corner pillars can be connected directly to the outer surface of the walls and form a projecting angle on the inside. Insulated pillars of circular section can be provided. The diameter may vary depending on the height. The beams can be profiled in such a way as to increase their resistance to bending at equal weight.
The fibrous material may be wood wool, a dried plant product or other similar material, with or without the addition of tar. The coating (s) may also be made of natural stone, extra-hard cement, marble agglomerate, gypsum, synthetic resin or other similar materials.
The elements may have at least one longitudinal housing intended for mounting with panels by means of intermediate pieces of the type shown at 4 in FIGS. 1 and 2, but in various shapes. The adjoining faces of the elements may be machine finished, in order to ensure the precision necessary for a tight seal.
