Description

  "Paroi isolante auto-portante".

 <EMI ID=3.1>

 <EMI ID=5.1>

 <EMI ID=8.1>

  "Self-supporting insulating wall".

The present invention relates to an iso-

lante of the thermal point of view.

The aim of the invention is to produce such a wall

with particular elements, which can easily be joined together, so as to constitute a self-supporting structure

which does not require any other supporting supporting structure,

which thus makes it possible to build walls of this kind with the

maximum ease and speed.

Until now, to obtain insulating walls

from a thermal point of view, we first had to erect load-bearing masonry walls, on which were then applied insulating panels, which therefore involved a significant loss of time, materials and labor.

The present invention eliminates these drawbacks and makes it possible to directly erect insulating walls which are at the same time self-supporting.

The wall forming the subject of the present invention is characterized in that it comprises prefabricated panels made of an insulating material, connection means between these panels.

re insulating, introduced into peripheral grooves of *; panels, so as to fit approximately half in the groove of one panel and the other half in that of the neighboring panel. The insulating panels have the peripheral grooves

and

 <EMI ID = 3.1>

a fairly rigid structure is formed by the introduction of the slats in the grooves.

The slats obviously have a width equal to that of the grooves and a height equal to the double depth of the

 <EMI ID = 4.1>

neaux arranged next to each other.

Panels and slats are made from the same insulating material, eg agglomerated cork, expanded polystyrene, extruded polystyrene, polyester

 <EMI ID = 5.1>

The external stiffening coating, which is preferably applied to the two faces of the insulating panels joined together by means of the aforesaid slats, may consist of cement, plaster, mortar or another hardening material. protecting the insulating panels and stiffening the structure to make it perfectly self-supporting.

Optionally, it is possible to provide a reinforcement, constituted for example by a metal mesh, for

the external coating of the panels.

To obtain walls having a greater thickness, one can predispose several thicknesses of insulating panels joined together as described above, thereby applying the stiffening coating to the external faces. Separate layers of insulation boards may have a

same thickness or different thickness.

The invention will be described in more detail below.

considering a particular embodiment, given by way of non-limiting example and with reference to the accompanying drawing.

FIG. 1 is an exterior view of a portion of a wall produced according to the invention. <EMI ID = 6.1> insulating panels 1 to form a wall, slats 3 are introduced into the peripheral grooves 2 which are also constructed.

 <EMI ID = 7.1>

tales or rows, the particular panels being offset by one

 <EMI ID = 8.1>

In this case, there will be horizontal connecting slats in addition to the rows! particular panels, and vertical connecting slats between the particular panels of the same row.

The horizontal slats may have a length suitable for joining together a series of panels belonging to two superimposed rows. In each case, the slats 3 are provided so as to completely fill the peripheral grooves 2 of the insulating panels 1. On the two outer faces of the wall thus formed, there is a metal mesh, shown schematically at 4 in Figure 2, which constitutes a reinforcement for a stiffening and protective coating, designated by the reference 5. This coating makes the wall perfectly self-supporting. already presents by itself a good rigidity thanks to the connecting slats inserted between the: panels.

   If the material of the panels and / or slats has a certain elasticity, for example if or uses an expanded plastic material, it may be advisable that the introduction of the slats is done by force to a certain extent, in order to make more rigid binding.

Naturally, if it is desired to obtain an insulating wall having a thickness greater than that of a particular panel, it is possible to arrange the panels in two or more layers by gluing them together with tar or bitumen.
