Le bâti 1 est muni d'un palier 2 suppor tant la broche 3. Cette broche est filetée sur tout: sa. longueur et porte sur l'extrémité gauche la manivelle 4 et sur l'extrémité opposée l'aiguille 3' qui est vissée dans un alésage fileté de la broche. Le palier 2 com- porte un alésage 5 perpendiculaire à l'axe de la broche qui sert de logement à un cou- lisseau 6 avec des dents 7 engrenant dans le filet de la broche. Ce coulisseau est maintenu dans la position d'engrènement par un ressort 8 agissant sur son extrémité opposée aux dents. Le coulisseau est muni d'une ouver ture 9, dans laquelle entre l'extrémité du bras supérieur 10 d'un levier 11 oscillant autour de la cheville 12 du palier 2.
En appuyant sur le bras 13 du levier 11, le cou- lisseau 6 est retiré du filet de la broche 3, les dents sont dégagées, la broche est libérée et peut ainsi être ramenée dans sa position primitive.
L'outil à peler 14 est monté sur le bras 15 du bâti 1, sur un support 16 pouvant oscil ler autour d'un axe 17 parallèle à l'axe de la broche 3. Sur es support 16 est fixé au moyen d'unpetit boulon 18 l'outil en forme d'un U, en dessous d'un bec 19. Un ressort 20, enroulé autour de l'axe 17, appuie le support 16 avec l'outil contre le fruit embroché. Le support 16 est muni d'un bras 21 et en des sous de celui-ci est disposée une tringle 22 avec un doigt 23, qui peut être mise en action par la manivelle 24 de la tringle.
La mani velle se trouve sur le bras 13 du levier 11 permettant ainsi, avec une seule manmuvre, de débrayer la. broche 3 et de mettre hors service l'outil en fixant le support 16 dans la position indiquée en traits pointillés sur la fig. 4. Le fruit pelé peut alors être retiré de la broche et remplacé par un autre et le pe- lage peut recommencer en embrayant le sup port 16 avec l'outil 14.
Lors du pelage, le support 16 oscille avec l'outil suivant le diamètre du fruit, tandis que le fruit est tourné et déplacé axiale ment par la broche en tournant celle-ci au moyen de la manivelle.

The frame 1 is provided with a bearing 2 supporting spindle 3.
