  Appareil à couper les choux pour la choucroute.    La présente invention a pour objet un  appareil à couper les choux pour la chou  croute.  



  Cet appareil supprime les risques de se  couper les     doigts    et apporte un     gain    de temps  sensible. Durant le découpage, les couteaux  sont, en effet, inaccessibles aux doigts et le  travail s'effectue, de ce fait, avec plus de ra  pidité et de sécurité.  



  Le dessin annexé représente, à     titre     d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'appa  reil selon     l'invention.     



  La     fig.    I est une vue en coupe montrant  l'intérieur de l'appareil, et la     fig.    II est une  vue en     élévation.     



  L'appareil représenté     comporte    un fût  dont le fond est constitué par un disque ro  tatif. Ce disque est porté par un axe vertical  dont l'extrémité inférieure est conique et re  pose dans     un    palier que présente une barre  transversale d'un châssis sur lequel est fixé le  fût. Le fût contient une cloison radiale munie  de paliers pour l'axe du disque et de paliers  pour l'axe de la manivelle servant, par l'in  termédiaire de pignons coniques, à entraîner  le disque en rotation. Le     disque    comporte des  couteaux radiaux disposés le long de fentes    radiales, traversant le disque de part en part.

    L'appareil comporte en outre un couvercle  d'un diamètre moindre que celui du fût et  servant à exercer une pression sur les choux  et muni de     poignées    permettant de le sortir  aisément.

  The apparatus shown comprises a barrel, the bottom of which is constituted by a rotating disc. This disc is carried by a vertical axis, the lower end of which is conical and rests in a bearing which has a cross bar of a frame on which the barrel is fixed. The barrel contains a radial partition provided with bearings for the axis of the disc and bearings for the axis of the crank serving, by means of bevel gears, to drive the rotating disk. The disc has radial knives arranged along radial slots, passing right through the disc.

    The apparatus further comprises a cover of a diameter smaller than that of the barrel and serving to exert pressure on the cabbages and provided with handles allowing it to be easily removed.
