Ab- and overflow device, in particular for dishwashing systems and sinks, etc. The present invention relates to a drain and overflow device, in particular for dishwashing systems and sinks, etc.
In the accompanying drawing, four exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, namely: Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section through the device according to the first embodiment, Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section through the device according to the second example, Fig. 3 is a longitudinal section through the Before the device according to the third example, Fig. 4 is a plan view of a washing tub with an overflow pipe arranged in a niche, on a reduced scale,
Fig. 5 is a longitudinal section according to FIG. 4 through the device according to the four th example.
The device according to the first Ausfüh approximately example according to FIG. 1 is arranged in a separate from the actual basin 1 space 22 of the sink. The device consists of a valve disk 29 as a shut-off element for the water drain, which works together with a valve seat 30. The valve disk 29 is seated on a tube 31, the upper end of which has a coarse thread 32 which is screwed into a handle 34 pivotably arranged on the sink unit 33. By pivoting the handle 34 in the range of, for.
B. 90, the valve plate 29 is lifted or in, the valve seat 30 is lowered. The valve seat lies over a siphon sack 35 which opens into the drain pipe 36. The basin drain 37 with sieve is located above the drain pipe 36, and the basin overflow is formed by the passage 23. Under the drain 37 an inclined frame 38 leads from the siphon wall 39 to the valve seat 30 and from there with a paragraph 40 in the siphon sack, namely to below the water level of the 41 in the siphon.
The frame 38 with extension 40 forms a reliable seal against odor in the direction of the rising gases between the basin drain 37 and the overflow 23 on the one hand and the drain pipe 36 on the other. The second embodiment of the device is shown in FIG. In this embodiment, a lever valve is easily seen.
The actual valve 16 is arranged in the basin floor 4 in the valve seat 17 and sits at one end of a pivotable lever 19 in the pivot point 18, the other end of which is connected to the rod 21 leading to the handle 20. As in the example of FIG. 1, the overflow is formed by a space 22 with a passage opening 23 separated from the bowl 1. The siphon 24, 25, which leads to the drainage pipe 36, adjoins the space 22 at the bottom.
A frame 26 arranged in the interior of the bowl extends under the valve 16 above the space 25 into the room 24 to below the IA water level in the siphon space 24. The part of the room 24 lying above the frame 26 and the space 22 are thus completely odor-proof, namely also with the valve 16 open.
The way it works is. otherwise the pale color as in the example according to FIG. 1.
The embodiment of FIG. 3 is a simplification of the embodiment of FIG. 2. Instead of a valve is Ven. simply a plug 2 7 on a Kett chen 28 before; ash, which is hung in the passage opening 23 for the overflow.
In the examples according to FIGS. 4 and 5 Clebraueli is made of tub-like bowls 1, in which the waste and overflow pipe 6 is net angeord in a niche of the tub 1, as shown in FIG.
According to the example according to FIG. 5, the device consists of a valve 3 as a shut-off device for the water drain, which works together with a valve seat 5 arranged in the base 4 of the bowl. With the Ven valve 3, a standpipe 6 is connected. which is arranged in a bulge 2 of the bass iris 1 - as shown in FIG. 4 - and serves as an overflow, and is arranged with the valve above the odor closure device.
The standpipe 6 is connected at its upper end to a rod 8 which cooperates at its upper end by a coarse thread with a corresponding internal thread of a handle 9, which in turn is on a bridge 10 of the bowl bulge 2 is arranged.
The odor shut-off device consists of a siphon formed by the valve bag 11 and the drainage pipe 12 and a pipe socket 14 which rests below the valve seat on a collar 13 in the bowl base. The pipe socket 14 extends below the water level in the siphon bag 11, whereby the actual odor seal is formed.
On the valve seat 5, a sieve 15 is arranged.
When the valve is open, the water drains through the valve seat 5 and the sieve 15 and the siphon 11, 12 into the drainage pipe. If the handle 9 is turned 90, the valve 5 closes. The inflowing water accumulates evenly in space 1 and in the bulge 2 up to the level of the drain and overflow pipe 6. The water drainage now takes place as the inflow continues the overflow pipe 6 and via the siphon 11, 12 into the drain pipe.
By correspondingly pivoting the handle 9 back, the valve 5 opens, whereby the bowl is emptied through the sieve 15, as explained above. In the siphon 11, 12, the water level remains above the submerged pipe socket 14. The odor security is thus guaranteed even when the valve is open.
Instead of just for flushing systems and sink units, the device according to the exemplary embodiments described could also be used for wash toilets and bathtubs.
