Description
<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 221926. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem neuen Azofarbs.toff gelangt, wenn man den Monoazofarbstoff, der erhältlich ist durch Verseifen des Kupplungsproduktes aus 1-Diazo - 4- acetylamino-2,5-dimethogybenzol und 1-Amino-5-ogynaphthalin-7-sulfonsäure (alkalische Kupplung), tetrazotiert und mit 2 Mol 1,
3-Diogybenzol vereinigt.
Der so erhaltene Farbstoff bildet ein stark bronzierendes Pulver, das sich in Was ser mit blauer, in konzentrierter Schwefel säure mit braunschwarzer Farbe löst. Der Farbstoff färbt Baumwolle grünstichig blau. Durch Nachbehandeln mit 1-Diazo-4-nitro- benzol auf der Faser entstehen sehr wasch echte blaugrüne Töne. Die entwickelten Fär bungen sind sowohl neutral wie alkalisch rein weiss ätzbar.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 21,0 g 1-Amino-4-acetamino-2,5-dime- thoaybenzol werden in bekannter Weise diazotiert und mit einer sodaalkalischen Lösung von 23,9 g 1-Amino-5-ogynaphtha- lin-7-sulfonsäure gekuppelt. Nach mehrstün digem Rühren ist die Kupplung beendet. Das Gemisch wird auf 90 erwärmt und durch Zusatz von konzentrierter Natronlauge die Acetaminogruppe verseift.
Durch Zusatz von Kochsalz wird der Diaminofarbstoff ab geschieden und heiss abfiltriert. Das Natrium salz des Farbstoffes wird in Wasser wieder angerührt, mit einer Lösung von 13,8 g Na triumnitrit vermischt und durch Zugabe von 55 g Salzsäure von<B>30%</B> bei 15 tetrazotiert. Die Tetrazoverbindung wird mit einer soda- alkalischen Lösung von 22,0 g 1,3-Diogybeu- zol gekuppelt. Nach mehrstündigem Rühren ist die Kupplung beendet.
Der Farbstoff ist teilweise ausgefallen und kann durch wenig :Kochsalz abgeschieden und dann filtriert werden.

The dye thus obtained forms a strong bronzing powder that dissolves in water with blue, in concentrated sulfuric acid with a brownish-black color. The dye gives cotton a greenish blue color. Post-treating the fiber with 1-diazo-4-nitrobenzene results in very washy blue-green tones. The colors developed can be etched in both neutral and alkaline pure white.
<I> Example: </I> 21.0 g of 1-amino-4-acetamino-2,5-dimethoaybenzene are diazotized in a known manner and with a soda-alkaline solution of 23.9 g of 1-amino-5-ogynaphtha - lin-7-sulfonic acid coupled. After several hours of stirring, the coupling is complete. The mixture is heated to 90 ° and the acetamino group is saponified by adding concentrated sodium hydroxide solution.
The diamino dye is separated out by adding sodium chloride and filtered off while hot. The sodium salt of the dye is stirred up again in water, mixed with a solution of 13.8 g of sodium nitrite and tetrazotized at 15 by adding 55 g of 30% hydrochloric acid. The tetrazo compound is coupled with a soda-alkaline solution of 22.0 g of 1,3-diogybeuzene. After several hours of stirring, the coupling is complete.
The dye has partially precipitated and can be separated out with a little common salt and then filtered.
