Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem neuen Kondensationsprodukt gelangt, wenn man Acetanilid mit a,a'-Dichlordimethyl- äther reagieren lässt und das erhaltene Re aktionsprodukt darauf mit Pyridin umsetzt.
Das auf diese Weise erhaltene neue Re aktionsprodukt stellt ein gelbliches, hygro skopisches Pulver dar, das in Wasser klar und leicht löslich ist. Beim Erhitzen der wässerigen Lösung des Produktes mit ver dünnten Alkalien scheidet sich ein schwer lösliches Zersetzungsprodukt ab. Das neue Kondensationsprodukt kann als Textilhilfs- stoff, z. B. zur Erhöhung der Affinität von Fasern gegenüber sauren Farbstoffen, ver wendet werden.
Beispiel: 135 Gewichtsteile Acetanilid werden mit 345 Gewichtsteilen a,a'-Dichlordimethyläther unter Rühren auf 100 bis 105 erhitzt, wo bei das Acetanilid bald in Lösung geht und nach kurzer Zeit eine Reaktion unter Salz säureabspaltung einsetzt. Nach etwa 20 Stun- den Reaktionsdauer ist die Umsetzung nahe zu beendet. Hierauf wird der überschüssige Äther im Vakuum abdestilliert, wobei das neue Produkt als ein gelbliches Pulver zu rückbleibt.
21 Gewichtsteile des so erhaltenen Umset zungsproduktes aus Acetanilid und a,ä -Di- chlordimethyläther werden allmählich unter Rühren bei etwa<B>100'</B> in 40 Gewichtsteile Pyridin eingetragen. Es entsteht ein zähes Reaktionsgemisch, das ziemlich schwer zu rühren ist. Man hält das Reaktionsprodukt so lange bei<B>100',</B> bis eine Probe in Wasser klar löslich ist. Hierauf wird die gesamte Reaktionsmasse im Vakuum zur Trockne eingedampft.
Das auf diese Weise erhaltene neue Re aktionsprodukt stellt ein gelbliches, hygro skopisches. Pulver dar, das in Wasser klar und leicht löslich ist. Beim Erhitzen der wässerigen Lösung des Produktes mit ver dünnten Alkalien scheidet sich ein schwer lösliches Zersetzungsprodukt ab.

The new reaction product obtained in this way is a yellowish, hygroscopic powder that is clear and easily soluble in water. When the aqueous solution of the product is heated with dilute alkalis, a poorly soluble decomposition product is deposited. The new condensation product can be used as a textile auxiliary such. B. to increase the affinity of fibers to acidic dyes, ver used.
Example: 135 parts by weight of acetanilide are heated with 345 parts by weight of a, a'-dichlorodimethyl ether with stirring to 100 to 105, where the acetanilide soon dissolves and after a short time a reaction starts with the elimination of hydrochloric acid. After about 20 hours of reaction time, the reaction is almost complete. The excess ether is then distilled off in vacuo, the new product remaining as a yellowish powder.
21 parts by weight of the resulting reaction product of acetanilide and α, α-dichlorodimethyl ether are gradually introduced into 40 parts by weight of pyridine at about 100 parts by weight. A viscous reaction mixture results which is quite difficult to stir. The reaction product is kept at <B> 100 '</B> until a sample is clearly soluble in water. The entire reaction mass is then evaporated to dryness in vacuo.
The new reaction product obtained in this way is yellowish, hygroscopic. Powder that is clear and easily soluble in water. When the aqueous solution of the product is heated with dilute alkalis, a poorly soluble decomposition product is deposited.
