Verfahren zur Herstellung eines quaternären Aminobenzylaeylamins. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatzpa tentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines quaternären Aminobenzylacylamins der Formel

dass man T-Tndecyl- carbaminsäuremethylester mit Dimethylamino- benzyIsulfanilsäure in Gegenwart von Am moniak umsetzt und das erhaltene Konden sationsprodukt mit Diäthylsulfat in die qua- teinäre Verbindung überführt.
Die neue quaternäre Verbindung, eine hellbraune Paste, ist in Wasser klar löslich und eignet sich zur Verwendung als Weich- machungsmittel für Baumwolle oder umge fällte Cellulose. Beispiel:
87 Teile Zindecylcarbaminsäuremethylester, 130 Teile Dimethylaminobenzylsulfanilsäure 91,8 /o und 500 Volumteile Ammoniak 25 0% werden in einem rotierenden Autoklaven 6 Stunden auf<B>1601'</B> erhitzt. Nach dem Er kalten wird das Reaktionsprodukt in Äther oder einem andern organischen Lösungsmittel aufgenommen, die Ätherlösung getrocknet und der Äther abdestilliert.
36 Teile dieses erhaltenen gelben Öls werden mit 17 Teilen Diäthylsulfat zuerst 4 Stunden auf dem Wasserbad, dann noch 4 Stunden bei 120' verrührt, bis eine Probe in heilem Wasser klar löslich ist. Es ent steht eine hellbraune Paste.
