Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     qnaternären        Aminobenzylacylamins.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatz  patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung  der Verbindung der Formel

    gekennzeichnet durch Umsetzung von     Stearin-          säureamid    mit     p-Dimethylaminobenzylsulf-          anilsäure    zum     p-Dimethylaminostearoylben-          zylamin    und Umwandlung dieses     Acylamines     mit     Dimethylsulfat    in die entsprechende     qua-          ternäre    Verbindung.  



  Die neue Verbindung wird als weiche  Masse erhalten, die sich leicht in Wasser löst  und wertvolle     kapillaraktive    Eigenschaften  besitzt. Sie eignet sich     insbesondere    als  Weichmacher für Baumwolle und umgefällte       Cellulose.     



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  1     Mol.        Stearinsäureamid    und 1,1     Mol.          p-Dimethylaminobenzylsulfanilsäure    werden    in     ammoniakalischer    Lösung 6 Stunden im       Rührautoklaven    auf<B>150'</B> C erhitzt. Nach  dem Erkalten     wird    die Reaktionsmasse ab  gesaugt und     mit    Wasser nachgewaschen.

    Darauf     wird    das Produkt zur Reinigung in       heissem        Amylalkohol    aufgenommen, das Was  ser abgetrennt und die     amylalkoholische    Lö  sung vom Ungelösten     abfiltriert.    Nach dem       Abdestillieren    des     Lösungsmittels    erhält man  das     substituierte        Fettsäureamicl    als hell  braune wachsartige Masse.  



  Durch zweistündiges     Erwärmen    mit der  gleichen Gewichtsmenge an     Dimethylsulfat     erhält man die     quaternäre        Ammoniumverbin-          dung    als weiche Masse, die sich leicht     ?i     Wasser löst und     wertvolle        kapillaraktive     Eigenschaften besitzt. Sie eignet sich ins  besondere als Weichmacher für Baumwolle  und     umgefällte        Cellulose.

  <I> Example: </I> 1 mol. Of stearic acid amide and 1.1 mol. Of p-dimethylaminobenzylsulfanilic acid are heated in an ammoniacal solution to <B> 150 '</B> C for 6 hours in a stirred autoclave. After cooling, the reaction mass is sucked off and washed with water.

    The product is then taken up in hot amyl alcohol for cleaning, the water is separated off and the undissolved amyl alcoholic solution is filtered off. After the solvent has been distilled off, the substituted fatty acid amicl is obtained as a light brown, waxy mass.



  By heating for two hours with the same amount by weight of dimethyl sulfate, the quaternary ammonium compound is obtained as a soft mass that dissolves easily in water and has valuable capillary-active properties. PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines quater- nären Aminobenzylacylamines der Formel EMI0002.0001 dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Stearin- säureamid mit p-Dimethylaminobenzylsulf- anilsäure umsetzt und das erhaltene p-Di- methy lamin ostearoyl - benzylamin mit Di- methylsulfat in die quaternäre Verbindung überführt.
