Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung einer höher molekularen     a-substitulerten          ssenzylaminsulfonsäure.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer höher  molekularen, a -substituierten     Benzylamin-          sulfonsäure,    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass  man N - (p -     Toluolsulf        onyl)    - a -     undecyl    -     (4-          methylbenzyl)-amin        sulfiert.     



  Die neue     Sulfonsäure    bildet als Natrium  salz ein helles Pulver, dessen     wässrige        Lö.s.un-          gen    stark schäumen. Sie     kann    als     Wasch-          und    Netzmittel und als     galkseifenemulgator          Verwendung    finden.  



       Beispiel:     <B>27,1</B> Teile     a-Undecyl-(4-methylbenzyl)-          amin,    hergestellt nach den Angaben im Zu  satzpatent Nr. 211796, werden in 100     Vo-          lumteilen    absolutem Benzol und 50     Volum-          teilen        Pyridin    gelöst.

   Dazu tropft man       ,eine    Lösung von 20 Teilen     p-Toluolsulfo-          chlorid    in<B>100</B> Teilen     absolutem    Benzol  und kocht 5     Stunden    unter     Rückfluss.    Nach  dem Abkühlen entfernt man das     Pyridin     durch Auswaschen mit verdünnter Salz  säure     und    dampft das Benzol ab.

   Der    kristallinisch erstarrte Rückstand wird     ge-          pulvert,    in 100 Teile     Schwefelsäuremono-          hydrat    eingetragen und bei 0   60 Teile  26     %iges        Oleum    zugegeben. Nach     r/2    Stunde  ist     die        Sulfuration        beendigt,    .sie wird auf  500 Teile Eis gegossen. Durch Kalken ent  fernt man die Schwefelsäure     und    wandelt  das     Calciumsalz    des     Sulfonierungsproduktes     mit Soda in das     Natrium-salz    um.

   Nach     Jem     Eindampfen     hinterbleibt    dieses     atls    helles  Pulver, dessen     wässrige    Lösungen stark       schäumen.

The present patent relates to a process for the preparation of a higher molecular weight, α-substituted benzylamine sulfonic acid, characterized in that N - (p - toluenesulfonyl) - a - undecyl - (4-methylbenzyl) amine is sulfated.



  The new sulfonic acid forms a pale powder as sodium salt, the aqueous solutions of which foam strongly. It can be used as a detergent and wetting agent and as a soap emulsifier.



       Example: 27.1 parts of a-undecyl (4-methylbenzyl) amine, prepared according to the information in additional patent no. 211796, are 100 parts by volume of absolute benzene and 50 parts by volume of pyridine solved.

   A solution of 20 parts of p-toluenesulfochloride in 100 parts of absolute benzene is added dropwise and the mixture is refluxed for 5 hours. After cooling, the pyridine is removed by washing with dilute hydrochloric acid and the benzene is evaporated.

   The crystalline solidified residue is powdered, introduced into 100 parts of sulfuric acid monohydrate and, at 0, 60 parts of 26% strength oleum are added. After about half an hour, the sulfuration is complete and is poured onto 500 parts of ice. The sulfuric acid is removed by lime and the calcium salt of the sulfonation product is converted into the sodium salt with soda.

   After evaporation, this light-colored powder remains, the aqueous solutions of which foam strongly.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung einer höher molekularen, a - substituierten Benzylamin- sulfonsäure, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man N-@(p - Toluolsulfonyl)-a-und-ecyl- (4- methylbenzyl)-amin sulfiert. Die neue Sulfonsäure bildet als Natrium salz ein helles Pulver, dessen wässrige Lösun gen stark schäumen. Sie kann als Wasch und Netzmittel und als galks;eifenemulgator Verwendunz finden.
