Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung einer höher molekularen a-substituierten Benzylaminsulfonsäur e. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer höher molekularen a-substituierten Benzylaminsul- fonsäure, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man N-Acetyl-a-uiidecylbenzylamin sulfiert.
Die neue Sulfonsäure bildet als Natrium salz ein helles Pulver, dessen wässrige Lösun gen stark schäumen. Sie kann als Wasch- und Netzmittel und als Kalkseifenemulgator Verwendung finden. <I>Beispiel:</I> 26,1 Teile a-Undecyl-benzylamin (herge stellt nach den Angaben im Hauptpatent) werden zusammen mit 20 Teilen Acetylchlo- rid 5 Stunden unter Rückfluss gekocht, dann mit Wasser versetzt, ausgeäthert und die Ätherlösung mit verdünnter Sodalösung ge waschen.
Nach dem Verjagen des Äthers hin terbleibt ein farbloses Öl, das allmählich er starrt. 0,1 lylol Acetyl-a-undecyl-N-benzylamin werden bei<B>00</B> in 100 Teilen Schwefelsäure inonohydrat gelöst und langsam bei dieser Temperatur mit 40 Teilen 26 o/oigem Oleum sulfoniert. Nach 2 Stunden trägt man die Sulfonierungsmasse in 500 Teile Eis ein und neutralisiert bei 0-10o mit Natronlange. Nach dem Eindampfen und Trocknen erhält man ein helles Pulver, dessen klare wässrige Lösungen stark schäumen.
