Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung einer neuen     Sulfosäure.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man eine neue       5ulfosä.ure    erhält, wenn man den     Benzimid-          i        ii        zol        -it-propionsiiure-dodecylester,        beispiels-          weise    erhalten durch     Veresterung    von     Benz-          imidazol-,cc-propionsäure    mit     Dodecylalkohol,     mit     sulfierend    wirkenden Mitteln behandelt.  



       Die    neue     Sulfosäure    bildet in Form  ihrer     Alkalisalze    ein kaum     gefärbtes    Pulver  mit ausgesprochen seifenartigen Eigenschaf  ten. Sie soll als Hilfsstoff in der Textilin  dustrie verwendet werden.

           Beispiel:       Bei 0 bis 3 " streut man in 50 Teile       _@    ö     igen        Oleums        1,1    Teile     Benzimidazol-,u-          propionsäure-dodecylester    ein.     'Nachdem    sich  derselbe aufgelöst hat, werden     ?0    Teile       ?1%iges        Oleum        hinzufliessen    gelassen und  solange bei der angegebenen Temperatur  gerührt, bis eine Probe der Reaktionsmasse  sich in verdünnter     Natriumhydroxydlösung     vollständig auflöst.

   Sobald dieser Zustand  erreicht ist, giesst man das     Sulfurierungsge-          misch    auf Eis, filtriert die abgeschiedene         Sulfosäure    ab, wäscht sie mit Wasser und  führt sie gegebenenfalls in ihr     Alkalisalz     über. Das trockene     Natriumsalz    kann zum  Beispiel aus einer wässerigen Lösung durch  Eindampfen im Vakuum bei     40    bis<B>50'</B> er  halten werden. Es bildet ein farbloses Pul  ver, das sich in Wasser unter Bildung stark  schäumender Lösungen löst, die ausgezeich  nete     Dispergier-,    Wasch- und     Egalisiereigen-          schaften    besitzen.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung einer neuen Sulfosäure, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man den Benzimidazol-,u-propionsäure-do- decvlester mit sulfierend wirkenden Mitteln behandelt. Die neue Sulfosäure bildet in Form ihrer Alkalisalze ein kaum gefärbtes Pulver mit ausgesprochen seifenartigen Eigenschaf ten. Sie soll als Hilfsstoff in der Textilin dustrie verwendet werden.
