Description

  

      Verfahren    zur Herstellung einer neuen     Sulfonsäure.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man eine neue       Sulfonsäure    erhält, wenn man     1c-Heptadecyl-          1.2-naphthimidazol    mit     stilfierend    wirkenden  Mitteln behandelt.  



  Die neue     Sulfonsäure    bildet in Form ihrer       Alkalisalze    ein kaum gefärbtes Pulver mit  ausgesprochen seifenartigen Eigenschaften.  Sie soll als     Hilfsstoff    in der Textilindustrie  verwendet werden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  20 Teile ;     i-Heptadecyl-1.        2-iiaphthiiiiidazol     (hergestellt durch     Kondeusation    von 1.     2-Naph-          thylendiamin    mit     Stearinsäure)    werden in  100 Teile Schwefel     säuremonoliydrat    eingerührt,  worauf die so erhaltene Lösung während  16 Stunden auf dem Wasserbade erhitzt  wird.

   Das erhaltene, kaum gefärbte     Sulfonie-          rungsgemisch    wird in 200 Teile Eis gerührt  und die abgeschiedene     Sulfonsäure    auf Ton         abfiltriert.    Letztere wird zur weiteren Rei  nigung mit gesättigter Kochsalzlösung ge  waschen.  



  Die Lösung der neutralisierten Säure zeigt  stark schäumende Eigenschaften und besitzt  ausgezeichnete Wasch- und     Dispergierwir-          kungen.

  The new sulfonic acid, in the form of its alkali salts, forms a hardly colored powder with pronounced soap-like properties. It is to be used as an auxiliary in the textile industry.



  <I> Example: </I> 20 parts; i-heptadecyl-1. 2-iiaphthiiiiidazole (produced by condensation of 1. 2-naphthylenediamine with stearic acid) are stirred into 100 parts of sulfuric acid monoliydrate, whereupon the resulting solution is heated on the water bath for 16 hours.

   The hardly colored sulphonation mixture obtained is stirred in 200 parts of ice and the sulphonic acid which has separated out is filtered off on clay. The latter is washed with saturated saline for further cleaning.



  The solution of the neutralized acid shows strong foaming properties and has excellent washing and dispersing effects.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung einer neuen Sulfonsäure, dadurch gekennzeichnet, "dass man p.-Heptadecyl-1.2-naphthimidazol mit stilfierend wirkenden Mitteln behandelt. .Die neue Sulfonsäure bildet in Form ihrer Alkali salze ein, kauen gefärbtes Pulver mit aus gesprochen seifenartigen Eigenschaften. Sie soll als Hilfsstoff in der Textilindustrie ver wendet werden. PATENT CLAIM: Process for the production of a new sulfonic acid, characterized in that "p.-heptadecyl-1,2-naphthimidazole is treated with styling agents.
