Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung     einei#    neuen     Sulfosäure.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man eine neue       Sulfosäure    erhält,     -wenn    man den     Benzimid-          azol-,u-thio-dodecyl-äther,    beispielsweise er  halten durch Kondensation von     ic-1VIerkapto-          benzimidazol    mit     Dodecylchlorid,    mit     sul-          fierend    wirkenden Mitteln behandelt.  



  Die neue     Sulfosäure    bildet in Form ihrer       Alkalisalze    ein kaum gefärbtes Pulver mit  ausgesprochen seifenartigen Eigenschaften.  Sie soll als Hilfsstoff in der Textilindustrie  verwendet werden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  10 Teile     Benzimidazol-,cc-thio-dodecyl-          lither    werden mit 20 Teilen Schwefelsäure  monohydrat einige Zeit bei 0 bis 5   ver  rührt. Hierauf giesst man die     Sulfurierungs-          masse    auf Eis, filtriert die abgeschiedene       Sulfosäure    ab, wäscht sie mit Wasser und  führt sie gegebenenfalls in ihr     Alkalisalz     über. Das trockene     Natriumsalz    kann zum    Beispiel aus einer wässerigen Lösung durch  Eindampfen im Vakuum bei 40 bis<B>50'</B> er  halten werden.

   Es bildet ein farbloses Pul  ver, das sich in Wasser unter Bildung stark  schäumender Lösungen löst, die ausgezeich  nete     Dispergier-,    Wasch- und     Egalisiereigen-          schaften    besitzen.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung einer neuen Sulfosäure, dadurchgekennzeichnet, dass man den Benzimidazol-,u-thio-dodecyl-äther mit sulfierend wirkenden Mitteln behandelt. Die neue Sulfosäure bildet in Form ihrer Alkalisalze ein kaum gefärbtes Pulver mit ausgesprochen seifenartigen Eigenschaften. Sie soll als Hilfsstoff in der Textilindustrie verwendet werden.
