Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung einer höher molekularen     a-substituierten          Benzylaminsulfonsäur    e.    Gegenstand     des    vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer höher  molekularen, a -substituierten     Benzylamin-          sulfonsäure,    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass  man N -     Benzyl    - N -     methyl    -     co    -     undecyl    - (4  methylbenzyl)-amin     sulfiert.     



  Die neue     Sulfonsäure    bildet als Natrium  salz ein helles Pulver, das sich in Wasser  gut löst. Sie kann als Wasch- und     Netz-          mittel    und als     galkseifenemulgator    Ver  wendung finden.  



       Beispiel:          -1/2        Mol        N-Benzyl-a-undecyl-(4-methyl-          benzyd)-amin,    hergestellt nach den     Angaben     im     Zusatzpatent    Nr. 211796, löst man in  1000 Teilen trockenem     Chlorbenzol    und fügt  63 Teile     feste    Soda hinzu. Unter gutem  Rühren     werden    65 Teile     Dimethylsulfat    bei       90-100'        zugetropft    und 12-15 Stunden  bei dieser Temperatur gehalten.

   Nach dem  Abkühlen wird die     Chlorbenzollösung    mit  Wasser     gewaschen,    das     Lösungsmittel    im  Vakuum entfernt und     die    erhaltene tertiäre  Base     destilliert,        Kpo,#-        n,",    170-215  .

   Das, so    erhaltene     N-Benzyl-N-methyl-a-unclecyl-(4-          methylbenzyl)-amin    wird in 110 Teilen       Sehwefelsäuremonohydrat    bei Zimmertem  peratur gelöst, auf 0   abgekühlt, langsam  50 Teile 26%iges     Oileum    eingetragen und  gerührt, bis sich eine Probe in verdünnter       I\Tatronlauge    klar löst. Man giesst auf  600 Teile Dis und neutralisiert mit Kali  lauge. Nach dem     Eindampfen    und Trocknen  erhält man ein helles Pulver,     dass    sich     in     Wasser gut löst.
